Tiny restaurant with a tiny courtyard, but one of the best meals we ate in Nerja. Selection of standard Indian dishes plush many Nepalese curries and dishes I didn’t recognize. Food was delicious and service was great… our waiter was very personal and great with our kid. Had a couple curries, a couple rice variations, salad, naan and roti. Highly recommend.

We checked out a few of the other Indian restaurants before deciding on Namaste, as it had, as the kids would say, the best ‘vibe’. The food was only ok though, no big flavour punches.

Beautiful food. Can recommend the garlic chilly lamb. Extremely tasty and really good portions. Nan breads not to my taste, a little soggy but the curry and rice were great.

We had a wonderful evening here. The staff are so friendly and we had some great conversations with them! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. There is a vegetarian section in the main menu and a separate vegan menu of about 4 starters and 10 main courses which made ordering so much easier. However, none of the naan breads are vegan and I would have loved to see tofu on the menu. The courtyard where we sat was beautifully decorated with plants and the atmosphere was fun. I would definitely return here!

My sister and I had the most amazing experience at this little gem in Nerja! Having lived in Nepal we wanted some home cooked Nepalese food and we weren’t disappointed! We were treated like family and we dined on the food that the staff were going to eat for lunch! The staff and service was outstanding and we will definitely be visiting again! Ask for Nepalese food when eating here! Let’s get this wonderful cuisine in the culinary map!

Tried out Namaste for the first time a few nights ago and returned for a second visit last night. Incredible food, very friendly and attentive servers. Be clear to specify the size of drink you’d like, we ordered small beers and were served and charged for large beers on our first night, and last night I was told I couldn’t order a cup of sangria and that a half jug wouldn’t be enough for me. I’ve worked in customer services before so I know what it’s like to try and upsell your customers but it felt more like a refusal to serve me the drink I wanted rather than an upsell. We ended up being served and charged what we asked for in the end! Other than that, definitely give this spot a try. We loved every bite of our food!!

We went there for dinner. The ambience was a mix of Indian and Nepali culture with the Hindi songs playing in the background. The service was good and people were welcoming. What did we order? 1. Chicken Vindaloo : Chicken was well cooked. The gravy tasted good. I asked for extra spicy so they added raw red chilli powder which was a little off. Otherwise it was tasty. So do not ask for extra spice 😉 2. Prawns curry : Very well cooked prawns and curry tasted good 3. Tandoori Roti : The rotis were really good. Full points here. 4. Plain Lassi : Again lassi tasted authentic. They also serve Urad papad and they were also good. Overall a good experience 🙂

Great curry! Really friendly staff & nice restaurant

Here for the first time and I will come back. But I didn't order Indian food, but a Nepalese dish. Excellent! Very friendly service which gives recommendations and even explains how to eat the dish traditionally 😄 The prices are absolutely okay for the fairly large portions.

I would 100% recommend dining at this restaurant if you are in Nerja! We were staying in Nerja for 1 week and dined here twice because of how amazing the food and service was! The food tasted very authentic and delicious and our waitress Sanjita was so so lovely! She constantly had a smile on her face and made us laugh too! The rest of the staff were also very welcoming!

The best indian food on Costa del Sol. Waiter Hugo and cook Ary are professionals. Very testy and good service. Recommended 100%

The food was, as expected, delicious. It was a quiet evening so it wasn't exactly buzzing with atmosphere but the food was excellent. However the evening was marred by the waiter trying to steal 20€. We paid the bill in cash with a 5€ tip but he refused to give us our 20€ change. My husband is fortunately of large build so we did get our change eventually but really NOT good. We will go elsewhere in future. (we are Spanish residents)

Great Indian restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. The staff were cheerful and friendly. We sat at the rear of the restaurant in a shaded open area. Would definitely go back.

Food was phenomenal, and really great price. The staff were also amazing, we were introduced to the whole kitchen team who were all so lovely! We were here 1 year ago and the quality had not changed, is still as good as before. Great restaurant, will be back for the food and the friendly staff!

Having dinner just front of the restaurant, sitting on the street was just great. Service was fast and polite. Food was tasty and for affordable prices. Recommending if you would like something different on your trip than just Spain food.

We've been coming to this place for years now. Friendly service and good food. You can always ask the staff for recommendations and we've never been disappointed. Definitely recommend the Nepali dishes if you want to try something new!

Went for a meal for two last night. Came away really satisfied! The food was utterly delicious - really! The best Indian cuisine I've had for years! Waiter was really friendly and funny! I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be going again! Thank you Namaste restaurant and Hugo!

Gorgeous Nepalese food, gorgeous people running the restaurant & very good value for money €50 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 Nepalese rice, 1 naan & 5 very generous glasses of wine. We had enough to bring home for lunch the next day however, it was so tasty, we just couldn't stop eating it was so good! We will be back to you soon 😉

This Nepalese Indian restaurant is on calle Cristo, as it is known locally, and has a couple of two-seat tables out front, a reasonable indoor area and a patio/terrace out back, which is where we chose to sit. I decided not to go with my 'regular' choice for Indian food, instead chose something I had often heard about yet never actually tried - Lamb Jalfrezi. The dish is a stir-fried curry dish originating in Bengal. Delicious, and I will definitely add it to my list of 'likes'. No idea why I avoided trying it for all these years, one of life's mysteries I suppose. Many of the staff are of Nepali origin and are very helpful - if you need an explanation of a dish, for example - as well as being attentive (to the correct degree) and very efficient. A meal at Namaste is a great experience and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
