The dunes add a wonderful sight to the landscape of Fuerteventura, amongst volcanic craters to the West and blue waters to the east coast of the island. A must see! Near the dunes to the north end is the Corralejo beach, one of the best beaches in the island.

Unbelievable and it's beauty cannot be grasp on pictures. Absolutely must see. If you don't have a car, you can go there by taxi (10 euros) from corrajelo centre and back by ordering a taxi at one of the big hotels near by or taking the taxis Phone number. Make sure it's not to windy the day you go.

Most of Fuerteventura is stone desert. So here is a piece of sandy desert. But the water is nowhere. When you discover a well and call out joyfully, "Water!", a desperate "Where?" comes from the well.

Fantastic place, absolute delight. I thought that Sotavento beach was my favorite place on Fuerteventura but no! Corralejo dunes won my heart, I miss this enchanting beauty with all my soul.

It was like in Sahara desert since the sand is actually from there. Nice to see it on the island, but i expected the Dunes to be much bigger and taller, but were quite small actually. The dunes are located just outside the touristic port city of Corralejo. If you want to see the video I made be sure to visit my youtube channel Big Joe Cheap Travels and find Fuerteventura day trip video.

Feels like Sahara. A range of dunes near the main road on one side, and sea on the other side. Worth visiting, if you are there. Also you can jump in the sea, if you are there. The beach is probably not the most beautiful on the island, but it is not bad.

A complete getaway from it all long walk in nature. I walked from Corralejo and enjoyed time on the beach before continuing my walk to the Satnav location. I was far from disappointed at the end of the walk due to the sheer vastness of the dunes. One could quite easily imagine that millions of years ago, this would have been attached to the Sahara.

Early morning is the best moment to visit, few people and less cars all around, bring water because you’ll be thirsty after walking up and down the dunes, do not miss the beach underneath 🌊

The dune itself is small scale but very clean and white. Close to sandy beach and nice location for some pretty photos

Lovely sandy beach with cristal clear water. Lifeguarded and flagged beach. One of the best place for kitesurfing. There are two kiosks selling refreshment and snacks. There is a beach walleyball court. There is toilet and shower between the two Riu hotel. It is 5mins walk from the bus stop. The nearest grocery shop is at the bus stop.

This is a great place and a must visit. Road side parking can be done. On one side are the beaches and on the other side you have vast sand dunes. If you want to explore and get the best photos, go to the side where you see massive sand structures and not towards the ones that take you to the beach. Also one of the best places for both sunrise and sunsets.

This breathtaking natural wonder is a must-see for anyone traveling to the area. The vast expanse of sand dunes set against the backdrop of the deep blue ocean is a sight to behold. When planning your visit, it's a great idea to bring along a towel, as well as some food and drinks, so you can comfortably spend time admiring the picturesque views of the dunes and the ocean. Be prepared for the possibility of windy conditions, which are quite common here, so bringing something to shield against the wind is advisable. This serene and beautiful location is perfect for a day of relaxation and taking in the natural beauty of Fuerteventura.

We drove 2 hours from the south of the island to see the dunes of Corralejo and it was definitely worth it. Never have I seen dunes in real life and it was fascinating. Would definitely recommend everyone in Fuerteventura to get a rental car and visit all the beautiful spots the island has to offer because there are many!

It’s not a very big dunes but a nice place to relaxing. The dunes on the opposite side of the beach are prettier though

A little desert in Fuerteventura. We really enjoyed the sunset there and the smooth feeling walking over the sand dunes. Real recommendation! 🤩

This place is absolutely stunning, 10/10 would recommend! Easy to get to and to park as theres car parking along the side of the road right by the big dunes. This place is great for a photo opportunity and is accompanied by stunning blue waters along the shore. You have the choice to just lay on the sand or theres little coved areas which can fit two people in… Id recommend sunbathing in one of these to protect you from the sand in the wind. All round stunning location, will definitely visit again on our next trip to Corralejo.

A small desert right next to the ocean, where you can run, jump, roll or whatever. Walking on the warm sand and dunes to the beach, a few hundred meters away, it will be additional fun for the kids!
