Rude and unhelpful receptionists, please read the reviews about these disgusting employees. I emailed the clinic before posting this review, but they care so little, I received no response. Arrived for our EXPENSIVE pre-booked test, there were lots of people hanging around outside in front of the only directional sign. A sign which is all in Spanish except for a little piece at the bottom of the sign saying if pre booked go to the end of the facility (whatever that means) No signage at all inside the building. I queued for 10 minutes only to be told 'Go to the end of the corridor' in a very abrupt way. I had watched her for 10 minutes, all smiles with the young men she had been dealing with. I mentioned this politely to the receptionist who shouted in a very 'look at me everyone' attention seeking way 'Excuse me Sir - there is a sign, it is outside - Go and look!!! How has this person got a job when so many good people deserve it far more. When we moved, 6 people queuing behind followed us, who had not seen the inadequate sign either. Not sure if this was racially motivated or ageist, as we are in our 60's and not young and good looking. Please look at all of the bad reviews about these terrible employees. Avoid !!!

I came here for an antigen test with my family and the 6 of us left an hour later with a printed result. Reception and testing staff were friendly and very helpful. If you arrive having booked and prepaid don't bother going to reception just go down the corridor to the last office on the left. Once tested wait for an sms result then go to reception for your printed result. Job done.

My wife is very pleased with Antonio who is her physiotherapist. She recommends him. He is very professional in his field.

Worst physiotherapist I've ever come across and I'm a chiropractor so I know what I'm talking about. I paid almost €1,000 for my insurance policy and after neck xrays uncovered the reason for my continuous neck pain and numb arm, 7 sessions with the physio later, the pain is worse than ever. Today the physiotjerapist spent the entire time he was suppised to be massaging my neck chatting to his friend who was in the next cubicle. He was shouting at the top of his voice so that she could hear him and he wasn't concentrating on my neck one bit as he was busy chatting about his girlfriends ability to speak French to his friend. I kept trying to tell him he was making the pain worse but he kept raising his voice and talking over me to his friend. He had no interest in my pain or neck, he wasn't focussing on his job at all and was completely unprofessional in every way. The last time I was there he put me and another patient on tens machines while he sat in a cubicle watching videos on his phone. €1,000 and 7 sessions later my pain is worse than ever - especially after todays session where I literally had to leave the session early - he'd finished the terrible massage and had put me under a heat lamp at this point. Today he made the pain unbareable as he was busy chatting to his friend and not concentrating or listening to what I was telling him. My arm is now completely numb and I have a searing pain down my entire left side. AVOID THIS PHYSIOTHERAPIST AT ALL COSTS! Very disappointing treatment from IMED, I hope the damage that was done to me today isn't permanent.

Having seen a specialist with some worrying symptoms I was told I needed a colonoscopy due to a lump in my bowel and symptoms, I have been waiting 3 weeks to now be told there are no appointments for at least another 3 weeks due to staff holidays!! Not good enough in my opinion. I went privately thinking it would be a faster process.

Pre-booked antigen tests online for myself and family returning to the UK. The website was easy to follow and the process of getting tested at the medical clinic was quick & simple. If you have pre-booked your tests online you don't have to wait at reception, just go down the corridor to last door on the left and you will be met by a nurse who will look at your confirmation email & passport then carry out the test. We were in & out in around 10mins, your results are then emailed to you in approx. 30 mins....also open sundays which was ideal for our flight times

Visited paediatrician a month ago. Her recommendation was completely unprofessional. I was worrying about possibility of dysplasia of my son. We made Xray previously and it was ok. Doctor said that xray doesn't show anything and we need to do ultrasound. We did it but during procedure doctor couldn't see anything. He said that at this age the only way to see dysplasia is Xray and ultrasound is useless. Wrong prescription, tones of wasted time (we needed to go 50 km to make it) and kids cry.

A party of 8 of us turned up as required, but one of us had difficulty booking previously online. The lovely gentleman at reception, who spoke perfect English, was able to sort him out and we all got seen & tested soon after. Great price too.

After reading reviews, we were slightly dubious and not looking forward to using this service. But we have nothing but praise for this facility. Prebooked our tests on line, received confirmation. Went for test, if prebooked, walk to end of building, queue at last door on left, in and out in minutes. Then received email stating our tests were on way to lab, later in evening another email with results, so quick, helpful and convenient. Please do not be put of by what you read in other reviews, the whole process was so easy.Thank you Imed.

Sad really. They charge 90€ for aDr. Appointment, handled in 5 minutes. The Dr. will not even take the trouble to ask about symptoms, you have to tell him, he will order a blood test missing key tests, and the lab is unreliable (0 days for a test that should have a 3 day max turnaround.)

Not service oriented. Staff is rude and mistakes are not corrected. 10 days for lab results, because “they are having a problem” at the lab. No acknowledgement of inconvenience, no apology, no reimbursement.

Very good clinic . Good service at the administration desk. Multilingual, quick and professional. Sandra, Vera and Alexandra - all girls at the desk are very good. General Practitioner at the clinic Dr. Vladimir Vynnychuk is very attentive, very good as a doctor. Thanks to his care me and my family are living healthier life and have less of problems Other specialists at the clinic are generally competent. So I am happy to be a patient at Imed Torrevieja.

Was a bit wary after reading the reviews. But went there to book two test appointments a couple of weeks ago, no issues. Helpful receptionist who spoke good English. Had the first test today, a mammogram. The radiologist was a lovely young woman. And a bit more dignity than the clinic I used last time. Also seen promptly. More than happy.

Physio treatment at Torrevieja IMED has been excellent. The professionalism of Louis has been outstanding. As well as individual attention and exercises from Louis, the technology for the physio seems very good too. The enthusiastic and motivational manner from Louis has given me a greater confidence. Also Antonio seems very friendly too, they make a very professional and friendly physio team. Receptionists are very efficient too.

First of all, the staff says they speak english, which they don't. knowing a couple phrases just won't do in a hospital setting. Then pay 90 euro to get vital meds, from a freakin' dyslexic and -calculic INEPT doctor Manuelo, who writes bad prescriptions and the farmacia will just wave their hands around "no esta bien receta hablahublabubba, go back to the doctor". So on two different occasions I, a disabled person with severe challenges in mobility, had to come back from across the town for the doctor to make his mistake right. The second time I was not particularly polite about having the doctor correct his mistake, in wich case he saw fit to start making threats. Even a modicum of professionality would do wonders here. But I guess this is the easy place to get the good pills, the dr. is concerned about good money it would seem more than anything elae

Sad to read the negative comments. Myself and partner had gynaecology and prostate appointments. The receptionists were helpful. The medical staff were charming. No trouble getting results. Well done IMED Torrevieja.

If you make a covid test appointment just know they don't care about what hour your appointment is, I would suggest to come an hour earlier so maybe you get your test at the hour of your appointment. Receptionist is pretty useless as well. I stood in line with people who had booked an appointment at 11:00 an they took the test at 13:00

Doesn't matter if you have an appointment, you'll still wait an hour (like you have all day to wait for them and nothing better to do). Their system is one of the worst I've seen. A proper system will solve all their problems.

As most other healthcare units in Spain that I have visited, unfortunately it has been more than a few, IMED Torrevieja have good doctors, nurses and service staff. The ladies at the desk are very helpful, efficant and professional. As in most other healthcare institutions in Spain and after a number of years in Spain it still surprises me that the service staff has to fight a much less competent general management and the administrative systems that frequently create problems for them. What is it that make the management, 2023, so unwilling to make the processes and systems functional and efficant? Ineffective system cost time and time is money. This is a general observation for Spanish healthcare so it is not only the IMED group that suffer from this. The doctors I have met in IMED Torrevieja are efficant and clearly competent and they have the integrity and professionalism to refer cases to specialists when they feel that it is needed to investigate further. Unfortunately the classical Spanish problem with languages are of course there, but this is Spain. In this clinic they do have some multilingual doctors with sometime surprising languages and if not all the ladies at the desk speak several languages beyond Spanish such as, English, German, Ukrainian, Russian and probably more so mostly it works out very well and they will try to help. I can safely say that the clinic is fast and efficant and I have a very good experience with the diagnosis, treatment and necessary referrals provided by the doctors. The treatment and services from the nurses are equally good. As with all my visits to healthcare in Spain the doctors and the healthcare is generally of good standard. I have lived in many countries so I can compare. In all healthcare in Spain some staff could do with more languages especially in a turist town like Torrevieja but in IMED it works out. So what I came to get evaluated for I got very good help. Healthcare is by nature a person to person meeting. As with all meetings in this life some are good and some less so. The question is what are the expectations in the meeting. Doctors are just doctors and they apply the knowledge they have and this is primarily a house doctor clinic with some extended specialties and diagnostic tools. If I have a broken bone and I go to a psychiatrist the meeting is not likely to work out to everybody's expectation and satisfaction. Some comments here is quite clear, expectations and satisfaction did not match. The question to ask is why? What did the client expect when they came to IMED and why? Summary: IMED clinic Torrevieja always try to help and what more can I expect? My experience is that I surely rather go to IMED Torrevieja then to other service providers in the Torrevieja area.

Had to go to IMED Torrevieja today. I sliced a chunk out of my finger and a nurse fixed me up in no time with the help of Dr Volodymyr. Vera on reception was great also as she translated for me.

Dreadful experience. The doctor was permanently on holiday. Each time I was told he'd be back the following week but when I called again he was on holiday once again. Never got the treatment in the end. It looks like there is something fishy going on with the arrangement between them and DKV insurance.

If you book your PCR test online for 08:00 be aware that the nurse starts working only at 08:45!!!So really it doesn’t matter what time is your test because if nurse is not there then you will be waiting until she decides to show up to work. Receptionist could not be bothered at all.Absolutely useless.
