Did the tour with David on Sept. 18. He was a great tour guide. We joined a little late but he nvuted us in, and on we went. The background and historical information David provided was really great and gave perspective and understanding to many of the things we saw on the tour. My wife loved the inclusion of Le Boutin, the worlds oldest restaurant, but especially great was a peak inside and getting to see the ancient wine cellar! Another highlight was the madrono shot we stopped and had (2.50 euro) but so worth it. Never would have known to try it, but with David’s suggestion we did and bought a bottle to bring back to Canada with us. Also David took us inside A flamenco dance room, and since Flamenco was on our list of things to do in Madrid, we booked that night to see the show and it was great. Finally, convincing us to join him for a free beer at the end of the tour was a great way to finish off the tour. Well done David, my family loved your tour today!

The tour was an absolute delight! Mariví took us around Barrio de las Letras [the neighbourhood between Sol and Atocha] and treated us to loads of insightful and interesting stories about the Spanish artists belonging to ''el Siglo de Oro''. The tour was filled of fun facts and beautiful sightseeings. Regardless of whether you are a tourist or a local, you will see the city in a different way after the tour and appreciate much more its art and history. I would one hundred percent recommend anyone to take their tours. I will hopefully join another one soon to explore other parts of the city!

Highly recommended! Mihaela from Trip Tours made our stay in Madrid. We arrived for a short stay with no specific plans. Luckily we started with a free tour and chose the yellow umbrella. Our guide, Mihaela, was great - knowledgable, insightful, enthusiastic, fun and full of great tips. For the rest of our stay we followed her tips (including a second tour with her at Prado museum) and enjoyed them very much.

Irina was my guide on a walking tour of old Madrid and I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day for another tour of the other side of the city. It is fascinating to listen to Irina describe the history of Madrid. She has an immense knowledge of the city and shares it with a great passion. Irina made my trip to Madrid incredible.

Alvaro was a great walking tour guide! We were able to locate him easily in the plaza with his yellow umbrella. We had a small group (7) and started our tour timely. Alvaro shared a lot of interesting history, cool information and fun facts about the various stops we made along our walking tour. He gave us some time to take pictures and take in the views of this beautiful city. We appreciated the visual aids (ex: chart of the old city) Alvaro provided as well. My husband and i are first time visitors to Madrid and we would definitely recommend this walking tour to others!

Our guide Camila was really entertaining and informative. She kept the group engaged with her story telling and expressions. The tour was about 2 hours, we started at 11 and finished around 1 at the Palace. Would definitely recommend, saw a lot of beautiful historic places and learned a lot of fun facts about Madrid and the places we stopped at.

Luckily we missed the first walking tour with another company and ended with Mikaela. She was great, a bundle of joy during the tour. I love the fact that she wasn’t pushing anything, making a stop at a store and force you to buy drinks or souvenirs there. Didnt even notice time fly by. Definitely recommended! Esmè is an incredible tour guide. She is so knowledgeable and personable! The way she delivered the history of the city was engaging and so very inspiring. I feel like I know Madrid more intimately after her tour, like I really got to know the city instead of just seeing it on a superficial level. We took this walking tour on a family trip Madrid last week. Esme is a very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic tour guide and made the experience very interesting. We all really enjoyed it and certainly leant a lot! Highly recommended.

It has been very well explained. The only thing I didn't like is that if it's a free tour at the beginning they tell you the minimum amount you have to pay.
