I travel, a lot. I've had great brisket in Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee. I have no idea why this place is rated so high. We stopped by on Saturday evening at 6. Theres no parking, and there's rarely parking on any evening. My wife did a walk up order for takeout. She was told they had no brisket left. This has been a thing here for a long time. You'd think they would know by now how much food to make. Having the food customers' want make them happier. It turns out they had some chopped brisket left. We got the side coleslaw, 1 pound of brisket, and 'made-in-house' banana pudding. The brisket was $26, pudding $6, Coleslaw $5. It took 15 minutes to get 3 items that are already prepared. I've had this BBQ 3 times, hoping it'd be better. Nope. The brisket was dry and had so much oil on it. You can see in the pictures the brisket dunked half in oil. Almost felt like they added all the oil to make it weigh a pound (for $26). The bbq sauce was just okay. The coleslaw was tasteless with minimal dressing. No zing to it. The pudding didn't seem like homemade banana. Between the camped, crazy parking lot to the prices, Briley's just ain't that big of a deal. I know there are diehard fans, a few of my friends included. If you are a BBQ place, your brisket should be your best item, this wasn't. Expensive, hard to get to, and not what I would expect for quality. Pass.

How do you know a BBQ place is great ? It's when you visit a different BBQ place and compare it to that. In my case this is Briley's, it's the place I use as my baseline reference for competently prepared BBQ. It's the place that pops into my mind when I crave BBQ. The smell of the area becomes ingrained in your memory once you visited. Yes, I personally think they are that good. Get takeout or just fine in their spacious dining area with a TV and another outdoor seating area. If you prefer takeout they will bring the food out to your car once it's done. I love their ribs, my favorite sides are hush puppies, collard greens and the chili. Give it a try if you're in the area it might become your go-to BBQ as it has become my family's.

It's really small inside. Make sure it's not too busy if you want to sit inside. I'm not going to lie, I was really disappointed by the BBQ itself. If you're not a fan of vinegar based sauces, don't go. If you're looking for KC Style BBQ, don't go. If you're looking for well seasoned fries, don't go. If you're looking for really good hush puppies, go for it!! The only thing I enjoyed here was the hush puppies.

The service was fast and the food was delicious. The brisket and the Mac and cheese are must trys! The kids plates are cute, abundant and come with dessert. The seating is communal. Its super kid friendly. The bathroom even has a changing table. We will be back.

Best BBQ I've has in Washington so far. The corn bread is unreal. The meat is tasty/ flavorful. Hushpuppies are sweet/super good. The desserts are super bland, but most BBQ places are. Love the outdoor patio space.

Been in location twice and had brought to me twice. Very good food at not to bad of prices. BBQ is kind of always expensive everywhere. Very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. I worked for a long time across the street and loved smelling the food all the time! Keep up the good work.

For this area, it is definitely one of the better bbq places I've tried. Obviously, if you're comparing to anywhere in the south, then you'll probably be disappointed. I only tasted smoke in the fat of the brisket, and it didn't have a noticeable smoke ring, it was also on the less moist side and didn't have a great bend. Pulled chicken was as you'd expect, and sausage as well. Mac and cheese was the best part of the meal oh and for all you see it was $80

Came in recently on a week day early afternoon, the lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful she definitely gets 5 stars. I had the brisket and ribs, and I have ate a lot in my life. These were definitely NOT! cooked / smoked that day. Once meat is cooked then refrigerated then reheated it is easy to tell. I understand running a BBQ restaurant can be tough especially on a weekday when you may not see much traffic, and ribs and brisket are expensive and it is hard to throw out a lot of leftovers I am a former Chef I get it, but there are really no excuses for this unless you are going to sell yesterdays meat for half price and freshly smoked for full price.

Overall, the service and employees were fantastic! The vibes were great, the place was clean and cozy. I wasn't too impressed by the food, the ribs were a bit tough. The cornbread was great, though! I went at the end of the day so it could be why so I'll definitely come back and try again in the future!

Coming from the South, I’ve been looking for good barbecue here for a long time. I’ve tried many places and most get something right but it still doesn’t taste like BBQ should, in my opinion. The BRISKET here was PHENOMENAL!! You know the meat is on point when you don’t need sauce to flavor it. The sliced brisket was seasoned to perfection, moist, and with a crispy edge. I can’t say enough good things about it. The brisket chili and banana pudding were dynamite as well…all while looking over a beautiful view of Lake Washington. Kudos y’all! One negative is the parking but not much you can do about that.
