The experience was damaging enough to where I have lost confidence in the brand. The room was dirty. Beds were made and waste baskets had new trash bags in them. However, further examination showed that sheets were not clean and mattress cover had enough questionable organic debris to elicit a closer look at the room. Upon doing so, found a nail on the floor, old food all over the room's floor, and someone's dirty clothes in the closet cabinet removing all doubt regarding the state of cleanliness of this hotel, especially considering the level of supposed cleanliness they claim to practice in times of growing covid and monkey pox cases. I don't know how they will regain my business considering that when I left and booked in a nearby hotel and commented on the situation - without naming the hotel - they said " let me guess" and guessed correctly, stating I had "no idea how many times they have heard similar stories about this particular hotel." For the sake of the brand and commitment to the communities at large, they need to do better and adhere to their IHG clean premise where "guests are reassured that: Good isn’t good enough – we’re committed to high levels of cleanliness. That means clean, well maintained, clutter free rooms that meet our standards. If this isn’t what you find when you check-in then we promise to make it right." Make it right!

Went to go check in after an 11 hour work day. Waited at the counter for 30 min. Ended up leaving cuz the lady working at counter would not ask the person on the other end of the line to wait 5 min to check me in and let me settle in my room. Went to bar hopefully after a couple drinks I will be able to check into my room that I already paid for. I stay at this hotel at least once a week. I will never come back to this hotel. I hope that one customer was worth loosing out on thousands

I really enjoyed the stay here. Service was outstanding from the moment I walked in the door. The room layout was perfect - wanted to use it as an apartment! Some minor wear & tear in the bathroom. Neighborhood isn’t great but if you know how to operate in today’s west coast urban environment then you’ll be just fine.

The room smelt like dog, only some of the light switches worked. The room had no curtains on the first floor, so when the light is on in the room, people in the parking lot could see in your room. "It's ok", because the view out of the other window looked out to a river or something and it was beautiful... also, the front desk was accommodating when I wanted to switch rooms.

Terrible stay. Checked in later in the evening after traveling. Then close to midnight after already going to sleep I woke to banging on the door. I was told my credit card had. It been saved to the system and as asked to go downstairs to pay for the room again. At the reception desk I showed them on my AMEX app that I had been charged, and they assured me they were only going to hold the card information in the system. It was late and I was tired so I just went ahead and figured It would be alright in the morning. The next morning I had two charges for $236.68. I asked for one to be refunded and they assured me they would have a manager call me and ensure that it would be refunded and the “double charged deposits” returned as well as giving me some IHG points for my trouble. No manager ever called. No points ever showed up on my account. After going to the hotel and discussing with them 3 days in a row, I still have yet to hear from a manager. I switched to another hotel do to this incident, and will be reporting the charge.

I just called today at 9:11am to Tacoma location and the receptionist was very damn rude . One I said good morning she didn’t say it back. I was asking for room to have sleepover for my daughter birthday and she was cutting me completely off and would not give me her name. This not customer service and she do not need to be working the front desk talking to people the way she did and I will Be filling bigger complaint on her .

I was warned by my work group after arriving that this was a sketchy part of town. That being said, I thought this was a pretty good hotel. The pool area was nice. Just a heads up that if you get a King Suite you are in for a room 3x bigger than other hotel rooms with a full kitchen. I was blown away at how big it was! Free breakfast and easy access to I-5. There is a lot of exterior noise, so this might not be a great hotel for light sleepers. Front desk was very helpful whenever I had a question or need. I had no problems with smash and grabs or getting my car stolen, hopefully it is a good place for you to stay as well. Access in and out can be tricky as well since the entrance is right in front of a street light.

Room was clean. It has a funky smell. Front desk were not really friendly. Just doing their job, I guess. Location was good. Breakfast was great. It was replenished on time. Kitchen ladies were very accommodating.

I was worried after booking initially because of the reviews. However, after staying my family and I had a wonderful time. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good (for a hotel breakfast). The pool was clean. I was even able to get my requests accommodated. I genuinely think all the bad reviews are for the Holiday Inn that’s across the street.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express my daughter had surgery 6 am and the security and sleep was appreciated. after her surgery we returned in room to rest a few hours and before our drive home and I asked for a late check out but because our room was through INDIGENOUS HEALTH CANADA they said late check out was not an option because we didn’t actually pay for the room. I explained a couple hours sleep would help wonders for the long drive home and still it was not an option. If anything a late check out should be encouraged for children who recieved any type of medical treatment and to help caregivers get rest who have to drive home sometimes 10 hours away I was disappointed and truly disgusted with the lady’s at the front desk who were soo cold hearted and mean we will NOT be staying there again!!!!!

I can’t explain the amazing experience we had during our stay. The manager Daniel was so accommodating and helpful throughout our whole stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a friendly and clean environment. Everyone was so nice. Great place! Worth it!

Stayed here the rooms were excellent. But the best thing about our stay was the staff from the general manager down to the maintenance staff was the kindest and most polite. I did not meet a staff member that didn’t speak to me and ask me how my stay was. The check in was easy and the lady that checked me in was so polite and knowledgeable. I wished I could remember her name. I am very happy with my stay at this holiday inn express and would highly recommend it. The management at this hotel is on point and it shows. Thank you to the staff and managers here for great hospitality. My stay was 26 July 2023 I checked in about 4:30pm.

I checked in at the desk with Myles, who was definitely lacking in customer service skills and the ability to bathe himself. The hotel itself is nice, and the customer service from other workers was great, but the thing i cant forget is the body odor that was emitting from Myles. If you’re going to have someone greeting your PAYING customers, make sure they are presentable and that they dont smell viciously like garbage as Myles did today.

It's the cleanest Holiday Inn I've ever seen! The Front End Manager, Ashleigh, is simply amazing! She was attentive to all of our needs. She is kind and professional as she seeks to truly help each guest have a wonderful experience. We will book here again!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole facility was very clean, spacious rooms, soft beds, extra pillows in room closets!! TV with many channel options! Wireless cell phone charger provided in room!! Great breakfast, later checkout time. Full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion available in bathrooms... I loved! Convenient location, ample parking. Kuddos to Staff, Management and owners👍👏👏

We had a pretty good stay, the only issue is that the area is kind of sketchy being that it's a very busy area at night. Another vehicle that was parked in the parking lot was broken into overnight. But other than that, everything that the hotel could control was pretty awesome. The room was nice and clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was on the cool side for an indoor pool and the hot tub was sufficiently warm however the jets weren't working. Didn't really matter though both were fun. The breakfast buffet was excellent and easily bumps this hotel above their competitors. We've stayed at plenty of hotels that had very basic complimentary breakfasts. This one was a step ahead and we would definitely stay here over there neighboring competitors.

Probably the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in. It’s 6 am right now and you can hear the hotel lobby tv so well that you know what they are watching. We could hear all sorts of noises all night long. The room was clean, except for the carpet. Wallpaper is peeling off in areas of the restroom and could easily be fixed by doubleback tape or just removing it and a clean coat of paint. The comforter wreaks of sweat and other smells. When we booked online, we reserved a different room. We arrived 5 minutes later and were told that the room we booked was not available. They only had one other room available, the only room they had available was an upgrade…. I would hate to see the room we were supposed to stay in if they consider this an upgrade. We booked our reservation using the ihg website and not a 3rd party, but the lady at the front desk said they have no control over the reservations online. They need to update their reservation system, if this is the case. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I stayed a week and was able to capture the ambience “home away from home as Jami, the Operations Mgr and her entire team all exude friendly, professional service with a consistent devotion to outstanding guest services. I had many inquiries upon check in/out and I appreciate the extra mile Jami extended for me to assure my stay was comfortable. She made me comfortable to ask for accommodations and she even goes the extra mile with a diligent follow up. The room, building and lots are all in mint condition. I will be both referring guests and staying again after such a pleasurable experience. The Room was outstanding and location is most convenient to shopping, dinking, work and rush hour traffic for me

Awesome experience with this location! Room was clean and tidy, and the entrance was secured and brightly lit with an inviting atmosphere. Alfonso at the front desk was a superstar and provided us with a warm and pleasant welcome. Alfonso displayef an exceptional level ofcustomer service, and deserves to be commended and recognized for his outstanding performance. Kudos to you Alfonso!

Room is large and inviting. We'll lit and clean. There's also a pool and plenty of places to eat around the area. Breakfast served in the main lobby every morning!! Great selection and delicious!

Fantastic hotel rooms are spacious and sparkling clean! Love the beds they are dreamy comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. I was so glad I had another night to look forward to sleeping in them again they were just amazing! They actually have breakfast here too hot and delicious and many things to choose from couldn't be better! Staff was professional and very helpful check in wax a breeze received a late check out because I'm not a morning person that was quick and easy! Couldn't say enough good things about this hotel I will be back!

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Coffee was always available at the appropriate hours. I appreciate the security measures they take considering the location of the hotel. There’s a few security checkpoints. It’s much appreciated because it ensures the safety of me and the guests at the hotel. Pleasant stay. Would/will definitely come again if ever needed!

We had to be here for a few weeks for home renovations. Check in is quick and courteous, staff is kind and genuine. Cleaning the rooms is thorough and the breakfast is quite extensive and filling! Rooms in good repair, requests are handled asap, and they care about everyone's stay. Alonzo was especially great to us!
