The
experience
was
damaging
enough
to
where
I
have
lost
confidence
in
the
brand.
The
room
was
dirty.
Beds
were
made
and
waste
baskets
had
new
trash
bags
in
them.
However,
further
examination
showed
that
sheets
were
not
clean
and
mattress
cover
had
enough
questionable
organic
debris
to
elicit
a
closer
look
at
the
room.
Upon
doing
so,
found
a
nail
on
the
floor,
old
food
all
over
the
room's
floor,
and
someone's
dirty
clothes
in
the
closet
cabinet
removing
all
doubt
regarding
the
state
of
cleanliness
of
this
hotel,
especially
considering
the
level
of
supposed
cleanliness
they
claim
to
practice
in
times
of
growing
covid
and
monkey
pox
cases.
I
don't
know
how
they
will
regain
my
business
considering
that
when
I
left
and
booked
in
a
nearby
hotel
and
commented
on
the
situation
-
without
naming
the
hotel
-
they
said
"
let
me
guess"
and
guessed
correctly,
stating
I
had
"no
idea
how
many
times
they
have
heard
similar
stories
about
this
particular
hotel."
For
the
sake
of
the
brand
and
commitment
to
the
communities
at
large,
they
need
to
do
better
and
adhere
to
their
IHG
clean
premise
where
"guests
are
reassured
that:
Good
isn’t
good
enough
–
we’re
committed
to
high
levels
of
cleanliness.
That
means
clean,
well
maintained,
clutter
free
rooms
that
meet
our
standards.
If
this
isn’t
what
you
find
when
you
check-in
then
we
promise
to
make
it
right."
Make
it
right!
