I cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff was amazing. They are very friendly and talkative. They helped me out in my situation here and accommodated me very well. It can be noisy at times, but they realize that and even provided a tip sheet on how to drown out the noise (see picture). The bar and food here are both very good. I highly recommend this hotel, just park in the main lot and you’ll be good! They have security and the staff is watchful as well.

One of my biggest problems was the smell of weed. I'm staying on the first floor and almost the entire floor reeks of weed. It stayed that way my ENTIRE visit. I'm here on a business trip at what is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. On top of that, the lobby, is really nice, but when you go up to the rooms, the hallways are very dingy and the laundry room is sub par. The rooms are decent, the beds kind of seem old though. The hotel is kind of In the ghetto which I didn't notice upon booking the hotel and its also by an airport which you can hear the planes flying over. They even leave earplugs in the room for you to help you sleep.

If we could we wouldn't even leave a one star. Had a horrible experience at this hotel. Yesterday while we were asleep our car was broken into. Our passenger rear window was shattered and our personal belongings were stolen. We went to the office to see if we could see the camera recordings turns out they "don't " have any. Please don't risk your vehicle here for your safety stay elsewhere. As a military family I most definitely don't recommend this hotel to our fellow Military families. Hotel didn't even offer anything for the inconvenience. Will never stay here.

Can't say enough great things about this location except it's one of my all time favorites. The room layout is well done. It's comfortable, quiet, and has a great bed. Slept so well I overslept! The toiletries are in large bottles on the wall. They're much more handy than the little bottles. The room also has plenty of outlets and charger areas. We'll DEFINITELY stay here again when in the area,

One of the thing I appreciate with Holiday Inn is that the rooms are consistently great and the staff are very friendly. This is absolutely the case here. The only downside is the location has a busy fronting road, so almost impossible to make a left turn out of to get on the interstate. They have done their best to help you mitigate the road noise as well if you face the street. They have a Diner at the hotel and lounge. The food was good!

Eileen, who checked us out, was very kind and personable. Ashley, who checked us in, deserves a raise. We arrived a bit early and she went out of her way to make sure our room was clean etc. Very nice woman. Rooms were very clean. Our room was relatively modern but the gold paint in the hallway was...a late 90s vibe. Hotel is in a kinda sketch area but I never felt unsafe although there isn't any key card/gated parking. We had to pay for breakfast vouchers which I wasn't expecting at a Holiday Inn. Would stay again. Only 20 minutes from the airport.

Our stay here was great! The blackout window shades were perfect for allowing us to sleep in. There wasn't a lot of outside noise getting into the rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was all very polite no matter the hour of day! Ashley and BB were very friendly as we walked through the lobby coming and going throughout our stay. The little shop at the entrance was great for coming back and needing a quick cheap snack. The restaurant staff was also friendly and kind. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will be staying there next time we are in Tacoma!

We came to town to visit our cousins. As a pregnant mom of a toddler our stay here was exceptional. Sean B helped us with a smooth check in. later when there was a noise issue with a group of other guests (11:30 pm after the toddler had been asleep) Julia and Sean B heard my concerns about the noise waking up my toddler (we had two sound machines going) they kindly and graciously dealt with issue for me despite my disheveled appearance from our long travels and general pregnancy grumpiness. The rooms were very clean and Maria the house cleaner always sweetly helped us get extra supplies and clean towels on a regular basis. The pool was a great place for the toddlers to play in and we had it mostly to ourselves during the day. The restaurant in the building was helpful and Di’Jonae was so sweet in helping us with breakfast each morning and talking with my toddler. Other than.the longer drive to my sisters home this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had as a mom!

Very clean hotel to go to. Not sure if it was just remodeled but when I go places I have to feel clean. The bed and pillows were plush. Sean was very accommodating making sure we had the right room. We came for a comedy show which was part of the hotel. Very convenient.

Sean & Shawn at the front desk have been great during our stay providing details and recommendations from around the Tacoma areas. The whole staff has been very nice, rooms are spacious and clean. Overall happy with our stay. Would stay here again.

Rooms are a bit small but over about average. However, the hotel is on VERY busy roads so you hear everything inside the rooms. Front desk employees are usually not happy to see you providing poor service. No free breakfast offered at this location! The location isn't great with lots of homeless homeless encampments around.

Sean B. & Eileen F. were awesome. Despite my purpose for the stay and the myriad of changes thats entailed, which altered my needed services while at their location, they well accommodated me at every transition. They made a rough 24+hours much more bearable. Their customer service was par none. They and the hospitality staff were kind and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. They even provided complimentary earplugs and sleep music! (I did not have to use them 🙂 the rooms were quiet, but I'm grateful they were there, just in case.) I do highly recommend this place of lodging if you are staying in the area.

I can’t thank the staff at this hotel enough for their exceptional kindness and hospitality during a difficult time. We were there for my grandmother’s funeral, and it also happened to be my daughter’s 8th birthday. Eileen went above and beyond to make us feel like family, celebrating my daughter’s special day and making us feel cherished. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets imaginable. The addition of the pool was perfect for my daughter, who received a mermaid tail for her birthday – it made her day even more special. Breakfast was not only delicious but served with a smile, adding to the overall warmth of our stay. What truly stood out was how this hotel managed to provide a luxury experience at a budget-friendly price. It’s a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction. In a time of sadness, this hotel managed to bring some light into our lives, and we are deeply grateful for their compassion and dedication. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comforting stay.

Shout out to Latrisha and other staff at this hotel! We left some important jewelries in our room, and were in a rush to get on our planes so we could not go back to grab them. Latrisha and other staff were quick in response to help us retrieve the jewelries and mailed them back to us. They were also extremely patient and helpful during the process! Our stay in the hotel was also exceptional.

The family suite was clean, and the bathroom is in need of some more towel rack space to hang swimsuit. The pullout bed couch needs a serious mattress upgrade. Breakfast service was subpar compared to other Holiday Inn I've stayed at. Very disappointing.

The staff here went above and beyond for us during our stay. I'm a light sleeper and our room on the first night was right next to the road. I didn't sleep well. I went down to the lobby and spoke to Bebe. Her and the front desk manager Sean were very accommodating. They moved us to a quiet room on the other side. Bebe and Shay were so friendly and they made our stay enjoyable. We had a great time at this hotel. Having the restaurant in the lobby was super confident. Highly recommend staying here when in Tacoma.

Would only recommend if you just need a place to sleep while passing through. Rooms are fine, but not in a nice neighborhood and location is directly next to freeway. My room wasn’t ready until 4:45 although they did give a free drink for that. Only one elevator for a large hotel and it’s located at one far end of the building, resulting in long walks to room. The room was fine, but it feels like a budget hotel.

We’ve booked to use a few of the rooms at this Holiday inn location and so far everything has been great! The rooms are the perfect size for even smaller get together. Catherine has been awesome to work with throughout this process!

Me and my cousin went to eat dinner at the Holiday Inn Tacoma mall Toast to Toast Bar. We received excellent service! The server Marissa was very friendly and told us about spots to visit in Tacoma. The server Laurie was super nice, funny, and accommodating. The cook was friendly and checked on us twice. The buffalo chicken wings were tasty, and I enjoyed the desert. Being at the bar was a very pleasant experience! the front desk staff were funny and hospitable. Also, after traveling and sightseeing, it was so great to sleep in a comfortable bed and get a good nights rest!! I definitely have my spot to stay the next time I come to Tacoma and visit family!! Highly recommend!! Milton

I haven't actually been to this Motel, but I have been to many of the Comedy club events sponsored by Nate Jackson. I can tell you there is plenty of well lit parking at this location. Easy access to I5 if you want to head into town. The recent renovation of what was once a Red lion Hotel made this spot the Holiday Inn it currently is.

The staff here is amazing! Really attentive and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean and decent sized with comfy beds. The area is ok there's small club across the street which can be loud but I didn't hear it in my room. With the pool and restaurant on site I will definitely be returning.

I was only here for a night for work, but it was a pleasant stay. Alonzo during check in was knowledgeable and friendly. The check in process was a breeze thanks to him. I checked out at 3am and Tiffany was more than helpful! She couldn’t check me out right away due to the overnight audit being completed, but she made sure to get my email, verify the card on file, and check me out as soon as possible. She made sure I was prepared for my travels by offering coffee from the snack shop and sending me off with well wishes. While waiting for my ride to the airport, I heard her interacting with another guest buying food from the shop, and she even thought to ask if he needed a fork. Tiffany is a keeper. Thank you all for a pleasant stay!

I gave this establishment a 3 due to the establishment area, entertainment and cleanliness. However, I am as I speak still trying to get my points for the stay. I am a Platinum Rewards card holder. To include a corporate member. I requested a late check out and I was graciously given an entire 30 minutes. (I'm being very sarcastic) but honest. Over all my stay was good during check in the two front desk reps. we're outstanding even with not entering my rewards I would lodge with them again.
