This is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. The staff at the front desk were so nice and helpful. The hotel and rooms were the cleanest I've ever seen. Great breakfast and staff also. If ever needing a hotel in that area, it's a great choice.

Hotel was ok. Theirs a homeless camp in the parking lot that was blasting load music all night and had drug traffic all night. When we called the office about where the load music was coming from at 3am they acted like they did not hear it and that they would look into it, nothing was done. I do not recommend family's to this hotel the homeless shelter looks like it's been their a while.

We drove up to this hotel and tried to cancel immediately. The property is NOT as advertised. IT is behind a double fence, the outer fence is a second higher chain link fence. The property is in an area that did not leave me feeling safe. When I tried to change my reservation to a different property I was told that I couldn't because the manager was not on duty. BE WARNED. DO NOT STAY HERE. UPDATE- reached out from the response below and have heard nothing. This just reinforces that the response is for appearances.

The room was clean and pretty nice. The pool is about average of what I've seen. The breakfast was nearly gone about 20 minutes before so I can't comment on eggs and potatoes. The counter people could be easily be replaced by robots. They weren't friendly at all and seemed annoyed to even be there. The laundry is COIN operated and their solution for it is to go to the gas station. Used the ATM for $3.75, asked for quarters and then had to buy something and then they only offered a full roll.

During check in, the staff was very nice and professional. I got my room and when I opened the door, it smelled like someone just smoked pot in there (GROSS). I was in the area for work and if I would've showed up at my office smelling like that, it could've cost me my job. I had to go back down to the check in counter to get another room. The nice lady was very apologetic, but she shouldn't have had to be put in that position in the first place. There should be some sort of quality control standards in place so they can provide clean rooms with confidence. Parking spaces are not large vehicle friendly. I drive a full-sized pickup, staying inside the lines, other vehicles were so close, it was difficult to open the doors. Homeless are camped along the road right outside the fence, bringing safety into concern. LOCK your vehicle and don't leave anything of value in it!!

Overall a very good hotel. The only reason I rated a little lower is that the neighborhood around the hotel is starting to get pretty run down. There is a tent city directly on the other side of the fence for the hotel parking lot and a lot of activity there. I do want to note however, that we have not had any issues at all related to that, and the hotel staff is awesome and very accommodating. They have a very secure parking lot and key requirements to even get in the building as well as night security guards as well. That being said, I don't like feeling like I'm in prison when I go to a hotel. Hopefully the city will get the area cleaned up.

I was in rooms 221, 225 & 240 and the air conditioners would not stay on and rooms would get stuffy. There were guests fighting and doors slamming and I informed the front desk and it still continued. The breakfast did not have OJ and western omlettes which is what Hampton Inn's are known for and all the attendant said was, "we're out and i dont know why." She seemed that she didn't want to be there and was very grouchy. The table was pushed so far out for me to reach my food and when i informed the attendant, she asked me to help move the table. (I'm not only a guest but also an employee??) @ it wasn't even 10am and they just shut off the lights and closed the doors and didn't ask if there's anything else i need before closing. I also happen to notice a hair on my plate (attached photo). I informed the front desk and i was informed i would get my points back per the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Well i looked on my account and all i got was 2500 points. Not only was the guarantee policy not followed but this is an insult to give such a piss poor amount so hilton corporate had to give the rest. I specifically stay at hilton properties and pay more because of the quality from previous stays but this was anything but quality. I am just absolutely speechless. Is this a sign of the times?

Other reviews have already covered the questionable neighborhood in which the hotel is located (can confirm the concerns and hazards are all justified) - if you want a quiet and safe location, this isn't it. DON'T leave anything visible in your vehicle overnight. You will be met by a smashed window the next day. Other reviews have also covered the responsive and very helpful desk staff. Extra props to the breakfast crew. While the options are standard buffet, the staff are very attentive, friendly and go the extra mile to meet your needs. Cookies are the best! My specific feedback relates to the rooms and related hotel features. I had two adjoining rooms for 7 nights. Pros: third floor rooms away from the elevator are quiet; AC is cold and generally stays that way all night; bath fixtures are new and work well; very clean rooms; touchless app entry works well on all doors; fitness center is very small but adequately equipped. Cons: indoor swimming pool and spa are unusable (too warm and way overly chlorinated); room lights near bed are very dim; AC unit rattled incessantly, even after we requested a repair; mattresses are way too firm, both for me (240 lb) and my spouse (140 lb); pillows are either totally flat and slumpy or super springy and lumpy; bed sheets are overly fluffy and tend to fall off the bed at night. People pay to stay in hotels principally to get some rest while traveling. When that core feature is lacking, little else matters.

It worked for our purposes - it provided a place to sleep while we were exploring the Seattle area. For the price though, I would have expected a better location. The rooms smelled of weed constantly and the walls are very thin. We had a baby in the room next to us.

Hotel area did not feel safe with homeless people congregated around the hotel. Room was not clean and did not get cleaned on my second day. Cleaning staff were gone by mid-day and front desk did not communicate that or switch us to a new room. Slow check-in and took us 45 min to check in because there was a few people ahead of us. Least pleasant experience with Hampton

Second time staying here and will continue to book here because it meets my needs. It is a good, clean hotel. Nothing fancy but good value. Rooms are clean and quiet. Parking is adequate and is fenced. The area around the hotel I would say is questionable and I wouldn’t walk around so would recommend getting any supplies prior to arriving. There is a Bass Pro near but would recommend driving. Breakfast is simple; serve yourself eggs, bacon or sausage. Self serve waffles and normal cold options like yogurt, cream cheese, and bread/muffins etc. enough to get you going in the morning. Staff has always been pleasant and check ins have been quick.

Surprised with the size of the rooms & I loved the lighted mirror & window covers. They allow as much natural light as you want or completely darken the room. I through some sound motion lights around the head board of the bed & gave the room some color therapy. The kids loved it. Also, the storages made it easy to keep the room looking clean while still having all your personal items at your fingertips & organized. Overall I give this hotel β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†.

The accommodations are excellent and the temporary fence the put up surrounding the place keeps the drug traffic a few feet away. A great assortment of lot lizards just outside & a nice view of interstate 5 and large homeless encampments too.

Hotel is located in very undesirable part of town. Vehicles in parking lot are sitting ducks. Hotel is on major lockdown; can’t even get in front door without being buzzed in. Guest rooms have intense scent/odor of mold. If possibleβ€”stay elsewhere.

I had avoided Hampton Inns due to a recent bad experience, and am a Diamond member with another hotel group. However, my stay at this location did so much to restore me as a customer. The room was very nice, and to Hampton standards. Breakfast was good and was clearly made by someone who was not just going through the motions. However, the front desk agent, Eileen was the MOST amazing, helpful and hospitable host. Honestly, she made us feel less as clients and more like family… This lady made us feel so welcome, and like VIPs…thank you Eileen!!!

Huge room! Yes, there is a homeless camp outside the fence, but we felt no danger and heard no noise from there, so, hey, everyone's gotta sleep somewhere. Morning staff was super nice. Typically decent free hotel breakfast. Overall good experience!

This place is pretty nice, and they take security seriously. My mom stayed here, so I got to see a lot of it. They have an indoor pool that goes to about 5.5 feet. The rooms are nicely appointed.

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal! The rooms are huge, clean and gorgeous! The employees were all friendly and helpful and always made me feel more than welcome. The hot breakfast was incredible especially in the age of Covid so for that alone that warrants extra stars! I would give them ten stars if I could and this is a hotel I absolutely cannot wait to visit again!

All in all, I'm glad I chose this hotel. The homelessness crisis is affecting this neighborhood, but you can't control that. The hotel felt secure (key activated elevators and spaces, etc), though the parking lot did not (the big signs about not being responsible for any problems made me wonder if it was safe to leave my car there at all). The room was clean and the bed was fine, though there were odd signs of age (a lot of rust on the metal door frame stood out against an otherwise clean bathroom) and lack of care (weird/gross stains on room desk chair made me just not want to use it at all). Walls sounded thin. Temperature control worked well. The staff were friendly. Room coffee was 100% trash at first taste, but lobby coffee was better.

Room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough and very springy, when my wife sat down on the other side it felt like I was going to be launched off. On arrival we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. With breakfast in the morning they had a standard limited breakfast except the eggs were covered with cheese and they didn't refill supplies when they ran out and when we asked. Since I'm not able to eat dairy we just skipped breakfast for the day.

Rooms need attention, and bathrooms need maintenance. 2nd floor dryer is not working. Very bad locations, don't park in the back noticed drug deal going on. There should be a gate to enter the parking lot. I hope the business take all the reviews about bad location and do something about it and not just put up signs that they are not liable for stolen or damaged property. Seriously, a multi-million company could afford an automated gate or security at the parking lot. Customer safety, right?

Great staff and amenities. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have had. The rooms were very clean. Good location. 24 hr coffee and excellent cookies. Will definitely stay next time we are in the area.

Comfortable room - comfortable mattress and pillows. Be sure to bring your eye mask - lots of lights in the room that you can't turn off. The breakfast was great - hot food at a self serve buffet. The area was a bit sketchy - you need a key to get into the building and to get the elevator to go to your floor. There are lots of people just wandering around the streets around the hotel. Also, walls are paper thin - i hadn't planned on waking up to our neighbors conversation at 5a.m. I cancelled my second night after spending the night.

The rooms themselves were fine. About what we expected. The noise level was absurd though. We could hear literally everything from footsteps in the hallway to the surrounding rooms above, next to, and even below us. I have never been to a hotel that was this noisy.

Our stay was very pleasant! The staff were kind and attentive! Our room was comfortable, clean, and accommodating. I am not sure if every room has this, the headboard displayed some of the local town in a painting style. A unique touch! The continental hot breakfast was well put together! With all the amenities this hotel provides this surely made a great deal!

My stay was great due to guest services. The room was neat and clean but Roz at the front desk was awesome sauce. I had multiple request of Roz which she handled expeditiously all with a positive attitude. Hampton Inn, you all need to promote this lady. I've found in business the majority of success is acquired via people. #great experience.

Bathroom shower door frames could have been cleaner, and the protection lock was coming unscrewed from the door frame. The front desk clerk was very nice and welcoming. She made me overlook the small things about the hotel that were not perfect.

This hotel is a bit of an oasis in a really bad location. Staff try, rooms are ok, but the location is just not safe. Clean(ish) room. Unless you really need this specific location, do not stay here. Update. I do not believe the 5 star reviews posted around the same time. Someone or some bot is trying to game the system. This is a problem Hilton property.

  • 3/5 THL B. 1 year ago on Google
Seeing the hotel gates locked and a double fence around the property was shocking. There was a homeless tent village outside the property along the freeway. We could see drug deals going on outside our window. We were told the police do nothing about it. Did I feel safe locked inside the hotel - yes! Did I think my car was safe in the lot - no! I realize the hotel is doing its best to keep the property secure, but I would not stay at the hotel again or recommend it.

I give three stars for location only because the neighborhood is a bit not great. I guess that's the city for you though. The place is right off of the freeway and convenient for golf and special olympics. The bed was super comfortable. Coffee was set out in the lobby. Staff was very friendly. We will be going back for our next event.

The stay was pretty good. Digital keys would not work for outside doors. We were locked out coming back from a concert and had to wait several minutes to be let in the front door when we returned.

This was our second choice of hotel, turned out should have been our first. Front desk reception, wonderful. Room, great, large and clean. Only thing missing, a bath tub for my wife. Lovely shower though.

Took a quick weekend shopping trip and stayed with my daughter. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Requested a late checkout because my daughter had homework online due later that day. They were very accommodating, would have given 5 stars but the hot tub wasn't functioning which was a disappointment.
