These people fo not know how to do their jobs. Can't remember to write a name down in the guest list, (even with three reminders) somehow forget that a guest has paid for their room and repeatedly bothers them abou lt it when payment has already been issued to the hotel and there is no reason for bother. False accusations about unpaid rent on previous days causing headache and unnecessary searches for receipts that the hotel staff apparently is unable to keep track of. Unorganized and unprofessional bookkeeping and reception are what you will encounter at this place. Save all your receipts if you stay, lest you are made to pay twice for a night. Let's not forget that the rooms themselves have nonexistent sound barriers which allow conversations in adjacent rooms to be made out word for word. Forget about privacy! If rest and relaxation are what you seek, I recommend choosing alternate accommodations.

Very disappointing stay, especially given the price. Comfort: beds are extremely uncomfortable and springy. Any movement causes the whole bed to rock, making it difficult to sleep 2 people in a bed. Additionally, I'm not even sure that the queen sized beds are, indeed, queen sized. The A/C unit is very weak, so you have to leave it on blast for hours before the room temperature changes appreciably. Cleanliness: drawers were full of crumbs. There were ants all over the bathroom. We never received housekeeping during our stay. Amenities: breakfast just consists of a couple packaged pastries that are sickly sweet and drinks. Shower packets are so little volume that you would need multiple to really wash your hair, and they only give two by default. Towels are very small and thin, and they didn't even give enough towels. Wifi barely works, as 80% of the websites fail to load (even though they load perfectly fine on mobile data) - I'm guessing something is misconfigured with their network. Noise: mostly quiet, although one of the mornings somebody was blasting music at 5am that woke everyone up. Perhaps more indicative of the location.

Yet another Hotel that is in serious need of a facelift. Rooms are very Dingy not at all clean I didn't even want to sit in the bed. I stripped The bed and then God I brought my own linens because I wouldn't have used theirs If I had to I would rather go buy a new sleeping bag then use their linens. Not a place I'll be back to!

The receptionist was friendly and forthwith of information to the surrounding area and helpful with the Western Inn neighborhood. Overall, we got rest and relaxation without being disturbed. And even the maid was helpful with my request for towels. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Close to McChord AFB. I stayed there for a week on business and wished I stayed on base. The room was older and not very clean. There were often people congregating in the hallways late into the night. The staff was friendly, but the location and general condition were not what I expected. I would not stay there with my family, but in a pinch could tolerate it for another business trip. It didn't seem like there were any better options anywhere in the immediate vicinity.

Room smells like cigarettes SO BAD. As someone with allergies, this has pretty much ruined my trip. I'm going to be congested and have a soar throat for a few days.

The night manager yelled at me in the parking lot over curfew and then dropped his pants in the middle of the parking lot to moon me. Then he threatened to trespass me! I think he's using. I had to file a police report about it.

The office staff is extremely friendly and always there to help even when they're too busy. I personally did not have any issues with my neighboring rooms during my stay. Nor did they have any issues with me. The rooms are also very spacious and have plenty of places to sit and relax. And a heaters/ac that work very well. The rates were also lower than other places in the area. I would reccomend western inn to anyone who was needing a place to stay.

Good prices decent front desk employees and for the area hardly any suspicious activity. I had no problems but seems like potential for some. Also police pulling over quite a few cars leaving this spot. I wonder what for?

This is a dive place. It's on a main road. But it attracts allot of deviant element. My friend has had his truck broken into two times. There was recently a shooting there. Lots of bad stuff happening there. For 100 bucks a night, not sure I would risk it. On a side note, they do have washer/dryer on site. 2.00 to wash 2.00 To dry. The staff is fairly friendly, and that's why I gave it 2 *. Also they offer a decent continental breakfast.

We liked our stay, except for the rude contractor's that would park in the handicap parking spots, play loud music 🎢 in the parking lot, then leave their beer cans on our car. They would also try and look in our window when we open the blinds. Otherwise, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was clean. And breakfast was great 😊

We wanted a cheap but nice place to stay. For the price we were not expecting an extravagant room. Just something clean and basic. The woman in the office was wonderful! That’s all I have nice to say. We pulled around to our room and there was a fight in the parking lot, lots of yelling. Got up to our β€œnon-smoking” room. It smelled like an ashtray and had cigarette burn holes in the comforter, and the couch. We went back to the office and got a different room. On the way to the next room a man who was either drunk or high, hit on my wife. In his defense, she’s pretty foxy! Anyway, after she came back to the car from checking the next room, I had noticed several people stumbling around the parking lot. Didn’t feel safe! We went right back to the office to get a refund and leave. As we were going through this process, ( which again the lady in the office apologized profusely and my wife comforted her by reassuring her it wasn’t her fault), I while watching the surroundings for my wife’s safety, noticed a drug deal, another person lighting up in their car, but given the neighborhood my assumption wrong or not, was drugs, and at least two or three other people stumbling around the parking lot ( one had a bottle in a bag). Anyway, unless this sounds like a fun adventure for you, I would advise you to stay away.

I wouldn't know to go any higher than 3* rating because I didn't stay there. I only went there to pick up a friend however, the place seemed peaceable enough, and the tenants acumin was alright too.

I stayed over night... It was clean and functional ... The traffic in and around the place could be considered low ... Never saw one bug exception to those outside ...

It's good for the area it's in. The rooms are decent. Not the best location but all and all I'd stay there again most definitely. The best in lakewood around $100 a night.
