One of the most overpriced Goodwill's I've been to, sadly I'm not surprised. It was neat and organized. But unless you want to pay $20 for scratched up wall art or $8 shirts with stains on them I wouldn't bother. As always, books are a good deal. But there's great sales at stores where you can get cheaper items brand new, not sure what the deal is with thrift stores lately

Me and my mom went here to buy some stuff and was cashed out by this cashier that was VERY MEAN. I mean I get it, we had to return stuffs which my mom and I bought a few days ago too, and we also canceled a few of the items in our cart and this lady were very mean to us since the beginning. It all started with me telling her that we will be returning stuff and I tried to hand her my mom's goodwill card to use and from there, she started treating us rudely and she also SPOKE TO MY MOM AS IF SHE WAS A CHILD THE WHOLE TIME, she'd repeat and rephrased every sentence she was saying to my mother as if she was speaking to a child! WE WERE SO HUMILIATED! Mind you, me and my mom were containing ourselves from arguing with this lady despite her behavior the whole time as we didn't want to cause a scene. My mom may have an accent, but she speaks very good in English. I mean, I get it, there was probably a miscommunication between them and the cashier but she didn't have to treat us that way SPECIALLY MY MOM! This was our FIRST TIME EVER encounter with such blatantly RACIST person! SO UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Watch out for Mickey Mouse (little mice 🐁🐁) saw one today as I was looking at some clothes. It jumped off a pair of pants onto the floor n ran off under a shelf. Told a staff member but she didn't seem very worried about it. I get it mice can be anywhere but it's also a health code I believe. Hopefully the mice don't bite anyone or in some clothes someone take home.

WORST goodwill in my 30 plus years of going, donating and even managing them. The fact that they permanently removed the dressing rooms in all goodwills are bad enough then add how they expect you to stand there and do all the sorting while donating to them is absurd! If people are kind enough to donate there boxes and bags of stuff you should take it with a thank you not stand there and get upset at customers for not putting things in the right bin. JUST PITTIFUL My days of donating or shopping your stores are over, and I'm not the only one, Goodwill you've ruined your good reputation, but hey keep taking in the millions of dollars and making the CEO' S rich more than you actually help the community.

My review is based on donation experience, as I have never shopped at this particular Goodwill before. I donated here a couple of years ago and it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, I was able to hand over my bag of clothes, a box of house goods, get a coupon, and go on my merry way. I went this week...and nope. There were a bunch of bins (not labeled) that we're supposed to sort things into. I guessed the wrong one almost every time, but when I would ask before trying to choose on my own, the guy seemed annoyed that he was being asked. I mean, I don't blame him, I'd be annoyed doing that job too, but the bins should be labeled unless you want us to ask about every single item. I was also not offered a donation receipt or coupon. Because of the sorting, it took about 20 minutes for the two cars in front of me and myself to make it through. Very disheartening, on my first (and probably smallest) load in my decluttering project. It makes me want to not even bother donating if just throwing everything into a dumpster is going to save me time, stress, and awkwardness. I will be in search of a new place to take items to.

The spanaway goodwill is a location I’ve been visiting since I was a small child. They have good selection of inventory, and it is usually quiet and clean. I give three stars because the goodwill parking lot is scary and I do not feel safe in the area. There are always homeless people sleeping outside of goodwill, there are drugged out RVs in the parking lot, and there have been multiple shootings in the parking lot this past year. I would visit more often if they cleaned up their parking lot.

I always find hidden treasures and future repurposed art projects here! Today I found a 2 foot tall cement snake for only $7! I'm excited to repaint it to create something magical.

Goodwill prices to me are very high...but you can get deals. Spanaway store is always a mess...especially the toy dept...people let their kids play with toys like a daycare while they shop and then leave all toys scattered everywhere...workers are never helpful or act happy to be there...but it's a thrift store.

This store has come a long way. Over the years it has strategically gotten better. Organized, clean.. even in its present location its a good will. On a humbug I went in to gets some potting pots. Right in the front. Simplicity at its finest. Went back today because I didn't get a Chance to look around. I over hear a lady instruction some other workers on why she do the things she do. BOOM. Maybe she is the reason for good change. Keep up the good work. Lots of stuff. Take your time and look. Presentation is always on top of my list. Good Job..... Ps. I bought the last big pot.. thanks!

Still no place to try on clothes, due to the restrictions because of C-19. So you don't know if what you are buying is going to fit.

This place has gone so far downhill over the last 10 years, I just saw a shirt there I bought new in Walmart, and they had it priced above what it costs brand new. Shame on you Goodwill. That's bad will.

This one's very picky on what can/ can't be donated. Better off going to value village or st Vincent de Paul

It's an average Goodwill location for what they have. But the store always seems quiet and clean. Sometimes it's about your shopping exp and not so much about the product. I like this location. I bought a used fake Xmas tree for $20. 6ft tall. The bottom row of lights doesn't work but I'll just add some

Again this Goodwill two stars maybe should be higher because of the way it is always pretty clean and shells well stocked with interesting Treasures and I am always able to find my work uniform( green polo shirt& beige khakis) which I am constantly renewing and sometimes some rain gear for the job as a bonus. When I was shopping at this particular store last week I did not find my work uniform but a nice shirt as I the only one in line to make my purchase I had to wait for the cashier to get done having her conversation with the security guard about a minute and a half until she came over and said she would help me. I mainly felt like she was upset with me that I took her away from her conversation & as I held my hand out for my change she stopped a few inches short dropping the few bills and change to the counter and then just looked at me. Dumbfounded I just softly asked asked Alicia I think her name tag said , as I was gathering my money which was scattered on the counter as she watched " why so rude?" She stated that she did not want to get anywhere near close to touching my hand. Even more dumbfounded then before as I made my way towards the door I said to the security guard I've never dealt with someone in the service industry so rude as I was walking out the door. The girl started yelling that I was the one that was rude and suggested that I take a shower. Now three times dumbfounded I was which as you can probably tell lol, was at loss for words. I felt embarrassment at first but as I was driving home I realized that I was not the one she embarrassed it was herself that she embarrassed and the entire Goodwill Industry. Sad day for thrift shopping I think I'll take my business to Value Village from here on out.

Very nice goodwill. Very organized and clean. Reasonably priced. I bought 2 real leather ( not pleather) jackets for less than $30. Great find

They will not allow any customers to use the bathroom. Other than that. Pretty friendly and clean facility.

Pretty clean store and the associates there are very pleasant but its frustrating as $!@% that you are no longer allowed to try clothing on to make sure it fits. Instead their answer is ... "keep the tags attached and you can bring it back for a refund" they don't mention though that you can't get your money back they can only give you a store credit???!!! Since there was the change in "no dressing room" policy I have maybe shopped at the Goodwill (any goodwill) a total of about 4 times in the last year. I use to go atleast once a week! Dear GoodWill, Consider bringing back the option for customers to try things on or at the very least offer them their money back when they have to bring it back because it doesn't fit!
