    Biggest waste of my time ever!! The Olympia, WA Geek Squad told me I had to make an appointment just to answer a quick question I had about my Apple Watch. I needed to know if it could be fixed or not. If they said yes, I would of made an appointment. If they said no, I wouldn't of wasted 4 hours of my life driving around & wasting time to go to another store in Lacey, WA who had a 20 minute opening that day. At my appointment, my question took all but 30 seconds, and I left. My money and I will never go back into the Olympia store again because of this Geek Squad.

    About a year and a half ago, I purchased multiple tvs, internet, music, audio, video and Xbox equipment for my home in Olympia, WA, from Best Buy, a system that was designed and installed by Geek Squad, all totaling about $10,000, all as a single project, but with 2 phases. The system does not work nearly as well as advertised by BB/GS, and I am very disappointed in overall results. Numerous technical problems ensued. I have to say that at first, BB/GS seemed to be trying as hard as they could to solve problems, and a few of them were solved. But over time their enthusiasm faded on persisting problems, to the point that eventually they started charging extra, even though the same old problems continued to exist. Eventually, I have been able to solve all of the problems myself with the help of other local providers. I can not recommend that anyone hire BB/GS for a project of any complexity. They do not have the technical expertise needed beyond the simplest most elemental set up. There are other people in the area much more effective.

    Travis H. (T.J.) from the Geek Squad team is both Professional and Personable. He delivered exceptional customer service for us. We visited the Olympia Best Buy to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy Tablet. T.J. directed us to the best quality and best value purchase. Following our purchase, he suggested that we consider the Total Tech Support after sales support program, which we purchased. Then he applied his professional technical knowledge, skills and experience to Transfer the data from our old tablet to the new tablet. During this experience, T.J. demonstrated his natural social skills and information technology skills to offer us an enjoyable, efficient, and satisfying Customer Experience.

    Thank you guys for fixing my apple watch. I was unable to use it for a month and couldnt find any solution to my problem online. They had it ready to go in a couple hours. I think the gentleman's name was Tyson or Tyler? Also, Arthur is a very good kid. I came in with no hope and left in a great mood. These guys are awesome.

    This particular store doesn't like to answer phones. I just wasted both of my work breaks 20+ minutes each break on hold for a simple question regarding an appointment. This is ridiculous.

    They did an excellent job once they were here but trying to schedule them through Best Buy was not easy. For example, I bought a new computer and printer and wanted them to set it up. I also wanted them to download photos and other important docs from my old computer. Best Buy said that would be easy and I should just ask the tech who showed up. It turns out you have to schedule a specific amount of time to download files. Since Best Buy did not do that, the Geek now has to come back another day and do it.

    Two technicians were dispatched to my home today to install a dishwasher and an overhead microwave unit that I purchased from Best Buy in Olympia at the mall. They arrived exactly on time and installed both the dishwasher and the microwave in right at an hour with precision and expertise. They cleaned up their area and left just that quick. I am very glad that they sent this crew out. The only thing that was a little bit weird is that not a word was spoken to any great degree... I mean it was awkward silence the whole time they were here unless I attempted to make some sort of small talk. Not a complaint, but with my country-southern- upbringing, it just felt a little weird. LOL

    10/10 would give a 0 if i could, they made me come here for a laptop repair only to tell me that they can replace the battery if i have an extra one and that they can’t do anything else, if replacing a battery is what you need then you can come here, (or you can do it yourself come on is just a freaking laptop battery) if you need anything else save yourself the trouble and don’t come here

    Most frustrating thing about this Geek Squad location, you cannot get anyone on the phone. No matter which number you call. After a few attempts Geek Squad headquarters tells me this store location doesn’t take inbound calls. Okay? God forbid someone at this Geek Squad location do any actual work. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Answering a call could have saved me a trip. So minor inconvenience aside, I went in to ask about buying a computer part for a repair, was told they don’t sell parts, even though their HQ said they did. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I was then quoted a repair cost more than the computer cost brand new. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. How is that even possible when the Apple Store in Tacoma quoted me a repair cost of $300, way less than Geek Squads quote of $1000-$1500. $1000-$1500 repair on a computer that costs $999 new. 🤦🏻 Not kidding! The young woman said $1000-$1500 but we won’t know for sure until we send it out. And she says all this without ever asking anyone else, looking anything up or even trying to get me an accurate estimate amount. It was like talking to an NPC. Okay so repairs aren’t done in-house, they don’t answer any calls and they won’t sell you any computer parts so what’s the point/purpose of this geek squad then? They just ship things? Congratulations, you’re just a FedEx with extra steps and bad customer service. Completely pointless.

    Best Buys geek squad have been amazing! They have saved me money and from ripping my out hair on many occasions. If you have a computer, iPad, laptop or any type of electronics I really recommend paying the $200.00. They spend time with you and fix ANY problem you have on any electronic device as much as you need all year! They've been great!

    Very happu with the geek squad here. They helped me order a new charger and let me come back and charge my laptop until the new charger came in the mail. This helped me to keep up with my school work. I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of the employees and Bianca's willingmess to let me come back every few days to charge. Thanks.

    I don't even want to give them any stars. I brought my laptop in, in March, because it was hacked into. I spent several hundred dollars to have them clean and remove all malicious spyware and viruses that was put on my computer. They did nothing other than make more security issues. Even through remote access the other day, they didn't know how to find the 34 files harmful files that HP found. I am extremely bothered by their lack of knowledge regarding actually being able to fix any type of major problems. They might know how to put on applications or minor problems, but if you have a real threat on your computer don't waste your time and money.
