IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON YOUR VEHICLE BROKEN INTO. STAY HERE. There are homeless people everywhere unfortunately. I feel bad for them not having a better place to go. The hotel right beside this place is fenced in better at least so a little safer. The people that work here are worse then horrible. If you have a problem good luck trying to get someone to talk to that can help. Management is never there, which unfortunately for the front desk workers makes there life hell. They say they have a pool and when you show up they will tell you it's under construction and you should have checked the website where they make sure that its hard to find. The room was dirty somehow even though it looks newer. The drink machine on my floor was out of service. I can't believe this is a Best Western plus. The breakfast gets one star. Keep in mind also no cribs or extra beds here to. Also look how many fake reviews they have. STAY AWAY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. The manager Alexaundra is a horrible manager as many others have said btw

The motel is nice but the manager, Aaron, is Rude, unprofessional, has ZERO customer service skills and will cancel your reservation in the middle of your stay, with your personal belongings still in room and lie and say you canceled it and gave it someone else who wasn't even at property. He refused to compensate for inconvenience and stress, refused any assistance at all. I've stayed at many Best Westerns and always had good experiences until this one. I see from another review, he does this to other people as well.

My stay was excellent! The front Desk lady Alex was absolutely the sweetest with amazing customer service. She was very friendly and very helpful when it came to directions to places around this hotel as I’m not from the area. She gave great food recommendations and smiled and greeted us every time we entered the building! Would HIGHLY recommend this place. 🥰

Highly recommend this hotel! We had a great stay, delicious breakfast, and comfortable rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast options were not only tasty but also varied to suit different preferences. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. We couldn’t use gym and pool area but looked well maintained.

I have a service dog and it is papered. I had stayed before at this hotel with my service dog without an issue, however this evening trying to check in. They canceled my reservation and said they do not allow service dogs at all. I had to take my business elsewhere to book another room last minute. This hotel is not friendly the staff were kinda rude. So I would stay somewhere else if I was to give someone my opinion. The area is full of vagrants and people are smoking at the front door. Lock your doors for sure

The room was very clean, had a good layout, and I didn't find any fixtures that were in need of repair—which is more uncommon than not, in my experience. I was worried about safety in the neighbourhood after reading other reviews, but I didn't see anything to worry about. I returned to the hotel quite late after a concert, and everything was fine. Didn't wake up early enough to try the breakfast, but I was told it was fairly standard. The free WiFi held up quite well when I was using it to play games.

The rooms are great but very dark, they need better lighting. Having the homeless right there it was hard to see but we had no problems. I was upset as the pool and lounge were not opening. Which was the reason I picked this hotel and I believe they should have it on their website

Every aspect of our stay exceeded my expectations! Checking in after long travels with tired kids is usually stressful but Alex went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly for us. She is so kind, compassionate and professional! Made sure we all felt safe and comfortable. Beautiful and convenient location, super comfy beds, cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. This place, alongside it’s staff is a true gem! Will definitely return!

As a Best Western Rewards member, I always look forward to staying at a Best Western, but I’ve never felt as comfortable and safe at any other Best Western as I do at this location. The building it very secure and you can only enter the building with your key card. The staff are incredibly nice and ensure I have everything I need. Their are several beverages and snacks available at the front desk (I’ve honestly never seen such a wide variety at a hotel) and the breakfast is great. I’ve stayed at this location for up to a week at a time for work, and never had anything less than an amazing experience. Also, the view from the fourth floor at sunset is a major plus.

Hotel staff were very friendly and room was extremely clean. Average rooms nothing overly fancy but the manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing! Her name was Alex and I can't remember the person who checked us in but she was great too. Definitely would stay here again!

Amazing Hotel, entire staff is friendly and accommodating to any needs. Brand new hotel and is running very smoothly. Management is very involved. Hotel is not pet friendly and Staff are very well trained on Serve Animals and the regulations covering them. Wouldn’t try and get one over on them like the reviews below who lied about the situation because they got caught. The dog was crying for hours during my stay as the people left it unattended in the room for more than a hour. Will most definitely stay here again as they also offer rooms to rent for conferences and events. Alex was amazing.

Are room had a small Ant issue in the bathroom area. We requested a bathtub but the Lady at check in said their rooms were showers only; but not a deal breaker. The area is a bit shady so don’t go out at night and park in their secured parking. Very clean room and very personable check in staff. Would we stay here again; Absolutely.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Front desk staff were very polite and welcoming. The hotel was clean, modern and safe. Beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was cold and the room was very clean. Room was cleaned daily. Gym and pool area was well maintained. Hot and tasty breakfast was provided every morning- eggs, potatoes, bacon, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, bagels, sliced bread, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again whenever I’m in town.

Work booked my stay. Not too familiar with the Tacoma area. I felt very comfortable and safe. Comfy, clean room. Any metro city has its share of homeslessness and whatnot. Here, however, staff goes above and beyond to accommodate and provide a pleasant experience. They even have security a guard at night. After a long work day, it was also nice to enjoy some drinks 🍸 🍹 that they very kindly prepare for you. Def staying here again for leisure and work. 🙌 Thanks, Aaron!

There were minor things of dust build up, back of bathroom door was wiped down, bathroom sink wasn't clean.. but the pool area was nice, fitness room is small and quiet, and for the most part the rooms are nice. Just wish I could open my window for fresh air

We stayed for a sporting event. The property is easy to get to from the freeway and close to restaurants. Management is on top of things and we were greeted warmly coming and going. The property is clean and maintained well. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent and we were allowed late check out. I highly recommend and we will stay here again when in the area.

The location of the hotel is easily accessible from the freeway. Designated (free) parking is available. The room itself was very clean and bright, and quiet enough despite being close to the elevators. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Check in process was ok, had to wait in line as there was only one front desk staff, but really wasn't a deal breaker. The breakfast was ok, buffet style with standard breakfast food options; however, they ran out of food and had to wait a bit to actually get breakfast. Overall though, I would stay again.

This hotel is without a doubt the best one in this area of Tacoma ! The front desk is so helpful and nice , especially the service from Aaron ! He has been so helpful with everything , making this such an ease for us as me and my girlfriend have stayed here over a month looking for an apartment . The location is super convenient to anything you may have to get done giving full access to Tacoma ! I highly recommend staying here at Best Western on Hosmer to anybody looking for a beautiful hotel with amazing service :)

This is the best hotel to stay. The manager of a super nice guy so to staff. The pool was so clean and the Hot breakfast was delicious. Lots of parking and I also noticed the security guard was in the parking lot to monitoring the safety. Great work guys.

We have been staying here for work in the SeaTac area off and on 7-12 day stretches) from May 2022 to now. Staff: excellent Rooms: super clean with daily housekeeping…which is no longer the standard. Always a pleasure to return here at the end of the day to a super clean room. Rate: check it out. I think best bang for the buck in the area. Location: on the edge of a sketchy area but great security and great staff. Other notes: standard free breakfast fair, very good coffee..attentive staff, super clean. Microwave and fridge in rooms. Very nice bathroom and showers. Very new building…pool still not available. Solid 5 stars.

One of the better BW I have stayed at. Nice lobby area. Breakfast was fairly standard with a few hot bonuses (biscuit and gravy!). 24/7 coffee tea bar. Pool was cool but comfortable for swimming, no hot tub. Staff lovely. Security guard on site. I saw other reviews re concerns over sketchiness. I didn't find this personally, I felt comfortable leaving my car on site especially with security guard there. Would stay here again.

Was a great hotel! I had an amazing stay that was very relaxing. The manager Alex made the stay even more calming by being a tremendous help! Only problem I had was an unruly guest being disrespectful because they left their dog in the room when they left. Other than that, best hotel stay I’ve had in a while!

Besides the worst possible location I could have chosen, it was a great hotel. Aside from looking out our window and seeing people using drugs, or dealing them, or looking petty sketchy in general, or not able to go to the taco truck next door because it was too shady. It was a great hotel. Continental breakfast lots of delicious options, rooms were clean, and big enough for us to enjoy some space or cozy up. We didn't get to use the hottub or swimming pool (twice now we have gone on mini vacay and haven't been able to make it) but it sure would have been nice! When I called the hotel to see about getting a refund, there was a previous mixup and misunderstanding on my part, I was told unfortunately I wouldn't be able to because I didn't go thru the hotel website, and it was a 3rd party situation. But, when I accepted that we would be staying there, I felt I had more confidence in my choice, due to the fact that Alex one of the managers there was so polite and helpful with the whole thing. She answered all my questions and wasn't afraid to tell me the truth. They have on sight security 24/7 and on property I felt safe, but off property was a different story. I hope that area is going to be Cleaned up soon.. there's a homeless encampment directly across on the main road of the hotel. It just doesn't scream "stay here, you will be fine". Although like I said inside, totally different story. I loved how the staff treated us with kindness and respect, I almost felt like I was apart of the BWP family, and greeted us every time we came in or said see you later when we would leave. We were there to see family and meet the newest arrival, so it was nice to be able to go back to our hotel room after the days events. Fun fact- my husband actually poured the gypcrete for the hotel (2 of the floors I think) when they first built it. I would stay again, possibly, if the area were a lot safer for my children. Thanks for the nice stay, and the kitchen crew for the wonderful breakfast each morning!

Beautifully appointed room with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was very attentive and responded quickly to a couple of issues I needed attended and did so with a genuine sense of hospitality. This is a much needed addition to Tacoma's hotel scene. I will stay here again when I need a welcoming and comfortable and safe hotel in Tacoma.

My stay was excellent due to the cleanliness of the Hotel, clean room, and great customer service. I have just returned to the Washington area after traveling all the way to Virginia. During this trip I have visited many cities and Hotels. This Best Western Plus in Tacoma was by far the cleanist of them all. The first time I was able to relax. The only downfall is the tent alley behind the hotel. It was a bit busy back there but was contained to that one street. However, I would book with them again.

Highly recommend. We were traveling during winter storm and had to stay the night in Tacoma. Found this place in the middle of the night and they were very accommodating. Gracie at front desk at night was very friendly and helpful. In the morning Anna at front desk was just as great. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Nice and clean new hotel with comfy beds and pillows (and soft towels, at least for now). The front desk staff were always lovely and overall it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast is on par for this type of accommodation, just don't expect anything fancy. Unfortunately the pool was not finished and couldn't be used during my stay which was a let down and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The surrounding area does feel a little bit sketchy with a homeless encampment across the road, and a back street in which people seemed to meet up.. Whilst I didn't think my car would be broken in to, it was nice that the hotel had a security guard to keep an eye out on the carpark area.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Construction was completed in April 2022 and it is basically brand new. The room I stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. This hotel is in a questionable area with lots of homeless people nearby. But there is a security guard patrolling the parking lot at night, and the parking lot has a lot of lights. The free continental breakfast was really good too!

Stayed a night and the room was clean and smelled good. Pool was nice and warm. Front desk lady was nice and informative. Breakfast was amazing! Out of all the hotels and complementary breakfasts I’ve had this one is the best! Large quantity of food was available and it was all delicious. Breakfast attendee was nice and was very welcoming early morning. The location is off the path a bit and the gas station on the corner is very sketchy but there was a security guard and cameras which makes it feel safer. Will be back in the future!
