The instructor we have has been great, but this place is a legitimate scam. You have to pay hundreds of dollars up front and don't have access to schedule with an instructor until after you've paid. Once you do get access to their schedule (even the day of) it's already filled to capacity because instructors give special access codes to their long-time students. There were literally only three spots available for the all of next month, yet they suggest your child come 3-4 times a week! Utah Swim Academy is literally charging people for a service they can't provide and then refusing to give you your money back. Bottom line, If you don't have enough instructors to offer your services, you shouldn't be accepting new clients. Take your money elsewhere instead of to a pool in someone's backyard with a devil may care attitude about their unethical business model.

Program is 5 stars! The instructors are well trained, my kids are learning so quickly. My 3 year old daughter could float on her back for a minute unassisted by her 3rd lesson. They meet your child where they're at but at the same time push them. If you want a guarantee that your child will learn to swim and to have peace of mind around water, Utah Swim Academy is for you. (The only reason for the 4 stars is that the scheduling is a nightmare. Online schedule fills up so fast and everyone is on at the same time which makes the site slow. I was on right when schedules opened, but by the time it loaded the schedule was mostly full and I had to switch instructors halfway through lessons! There has to be a better way.)

I highly recommend Utah Swim Academy! When my 1.5 year old jumped into a friend's pool with no fear, I knew it was time to find somewhere she'd learn swim survival skills. From day 1, JoD and Chelsea have been great teachers. They are definitely knowledgeable, understand different personality types, and I trust them with my child. I now feel comfortable and confident with my daughter being around water. I am so grateful my child is learning the skills to accompany her fearlessness personality to keep her safe!

We have loved coming here for over Two years. Scheduling is a breeze and their instructors are very well trained. We especially love going during the off season of winter and spring. I’m so grateful I can confidently take the small kids to a pool by myself. Their customer service have impressed me multiple times and I am so glad to come and have my kids learn here. We tried two other types of lessons and this has been THE best lessons by far.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Utah Swim Academy and all of the instructors there. I take my four and two year old year round and especially as a new student, fall lessons are amazing! The owner is amazing, all the teachers are well-trained and love their job. I have the most stubborn kids and they LOVE swimming. It wasn’t always like that and it took pushing through some tough lessons but that’s why Utah Swim Academy has been so wonderful. I always joke that my kids will be taking these lessons until their 18 because I have seen so much confidence in my little boys and a love for the water I wish I had had growing up. For safety and confidence, there is no better place.

We have had the best experience with Utah Swim Academy. The teachers have been SO sweet and encouraging with my baby and toddler & they absolutely love going. Aside from them being well-trained teachers, their ability to comfort children while still pushing them out of their comfort zone to grow is extremely impressive. We love it here & recommend it to everyone!

The facility is great but we've had to use a different instructor almost every time which is frustrating when your kid is on the shy side. The huge reason why it's hard to get the same instructor is because unless you're able to schedule as soon as they open the next month it gets pretty much booked up. We've gone through 4 instructors and only two worked well with my 2 year old son who is more on reserved side. They both went at his pace, made it fun for him, and really used encouragement to get him to learn. Unfortunately that one no longer works there and the other is impossible to get an appointment with. The other 2 instructors seem to be going through the motions and didn't really try and or know how to work with a young child. My son ended up hating going. He's now absolutely terrified of getting in the pool now even if it's with us. His very first lesson didn't go well and the last one didn't go that well either. Which is why I cancelled his other lessons and will try to find someplace else for him.I don't think the instructors are bad I just think some of the ones I was able to get an appointment with don't know how to work with toddlers that have a harder time with new environments and people. I think if your kid is outgoing or if you have an older kid this place would be great. But if you have a shy toddler that takes time warming up to others I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Started my 6 month old here to learn water safety skills. Within a month he knew how to float on his back. Every instructor we have used has been amazing and so patient. I recommend Utah Swim Academy for anyone looking for swim lessons for their kids!

I really cannot say enough good things about Utah Swim Academy. My kids went from being completely terrified of the water to floating being second nature when they jump in. I’ve been so impressed with the lesson structure, and the tenacity of the instructors. I’m amazed how well they adapt the lesson to each child’s individual level without skipping a beat! I have so much peace of mind knowing my kids can handle themselves in the water, and it’s been so fun to watch their confidence soar with each new skill they’ve learned. Going to the pool this summer has been so fun thanks to what they’ve learned during lessons!

I love the life saving skills has taught my kids! The pool is warm, and the structure is awesome. But as far as customer service goes, they hardly answer the phone. It’s so hard to get ahold of the company. The price is $5 per lesson if you need the expiration extended. Which I feel is unreasonable, especially if you’ve had your lessons scheduled and they randomly get cancelled by instructor being sick, or pool Heater breaking, etc.

The teachers here are great! They have worked well with my kids ages 8-16, patient and helpful! Nice pool and area. My kids love that they have a snack shack so they can buy some to eat while waiting for each other.

We’ve only taken one class here with Autumn, my daughter is two years old and she has taken other swim classes at gold fish academy and big blue within the month. I felt the need to leave a review because I was amazed how this was her first time at utah swim academy and she was floating on her back so well, she wasn’t able to achieve this at all with the other classes I’ve taken her to. She also LOVED autumn she was laughing and having so much fun with her, we are going to purchase more classes & hope the schedule isn’t too hard to get on since that’s the main con I’ve heard.

We love Utah Swim Academy! Shout out to Autumn who has taught 2 of my kiddos. Autumn recently taught our 2nd kid this summer and she left such a good impression on my daughter that she cried all the way home because she was sad she wouldn't see Autumn anymore! Besides just being so friendly and attentive to my daughter, she taught her a lot!! She went from not being able to really do anything on her own in the water to being able to go down big slides in the pool and ditching her floaties! Blows my mind. Thank you Autumn 🥰
