Was going to give it 4 stars (been giving too many 5 stars lately), I'm into food with big flavors that really punch you in the mouth and this is more mild but if I used one word to describe it I would say "solid". This is a solid meal, good bread, meatballs, sauce and pasta. Carbo-loading comfort-food at its finest. Maybe I'd use red chili flakes or tobasco next time? Sriracha?

I am extremely happy to have found this place. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were very accommodating. We ordered the Petali which are pan-fried breaded zucchini pieces that we dipped in a creamy marinara sauce. We also ordered 2 pasta bread bowls, one was spaghetti meat balls with meat sauce mixed with pesto, and the other was a fettuccine alfredo with meat balls. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the meat balls were savory and juicy. The bread bowl was a soft, seasoned French bread that blended perfectly with the rest of the dish. Everything here is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients, and it shows. We will absolutely frequent this restaurant and can't wait to try the other menu items.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment for dinner, and I must say that the food was absolutely incredible. Disregard any unfavorable reviews you may have encountered, as everything about this place is outstanding! The staff were courteous and friendly, the restaurant's interior decor is clean and fancy, but most importantly, the food is outstanding. The bread bowls, which had received rave reviews on both Google and Yelp, were truly delicious. We were pleasantly surprised that the bread was not tough but rather warm, soft, and delicious. The pasta and shrimp dishes appeared to be endless! The serving sizes were spot on. We will definitely return and enthusiastically recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I've been here a long time back before the renovation. We loved the pasta bowls we ordered at that time. Yesterday, I got some cheesy garlic bread from Petali. Was nice and fresh.

So, after I got covid, I lost my sense of smell for over a year. When it came back I noticed food all tasted the same to me. No matter what, Indian - Mexican - sushi- you name it, all tasted the same. It left me wondering, Is it my sense of smell or is it the quality of food they sell? Two days ago my full sense of smell started to come back. But food smells and quality wasn’t getting any better. Today I tried Petali with my husband. oh my words. I was basically crying from the start of our meal to the end with how wonderful it tasted. We got the bread bowl with pesto and Alfredo! Not a single flavor was lost to me. I tasted everything for the first time in months! The lightly sweet Alfredo cream, the hint of garlic, the pesto and pine nuts, the chicken was tender and cooked just right. Every bite was heaven and it was just …. Honestly the best meal I have had since I moved to Sacramento. I know my issues with smell make this more of an emotional response but my husband felt the exact same about the quality and flavor; so not just me! I’ll always remember this meal. For sure. I recommend this place as it is affordable & high quality Italian food. You don’t feel like you are sitting in a 5 star Michelin restaurant as it’s family style Italian, but the food is of 5 star ⭐️ high quality. The bread was amazing, I was a baker for three years, at an Italian bakery, so this food meets my standards and then some (as a baker). Thank you for the wonderful meal, we will be back regularly and we truly appreciate the love you put into the food. It shows for sure! Such Friendly service and wonderful food ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great place for lunch. I tried the spaghetti bread bowl and that is delicious. They also have Italian ice cream here too.

Homey, delicious, and satisfying! Everything came out hot and fresh! The taste was phenomenal! My husband and I have officially found our new favorite place to frequent for delicious food!

What an amazing creation! I ordered the bread bowl with pasta and chicken Parm! The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful! Especially the staff! It is nice when employees take the time to let you know a little history of their food! The bread bowl was delicious! I definitely feel the love in the cooking! Keep up the great work!

I love this place. The food is 10/10 EVERYTIME.. occasionally when I get it delivered, they'll forget my gelato, but if you call them and explain that it's missing.. they will go out of their way to make sure you are more than satisfied with your order!!!

Omg, the food is sooo good here & the service was amazing as well. I got my food put in a bread bowl & made a mess cause it was so good. Highly recommend, also have a veteran working here. Thanks guys for the great food & amazing service, will be back again!!
