It is very difficult to find YOUR doctor, especially in a foreign country. I was very lucky with this clinic and Dr. Rob D. Lyons. He is a top-level professional. The doctor found the nearest time for a patient with pain and managed to save some teeth. I cannot describe my delight with this clinic and employees. This is the case when visiting the dentist is pleasant! Thank you so much for the incredible service, this is the best clinic in Rapid City!

The minute you walk in you are greeted by the friendliest gals that make you feel so comfortable! Dr. Rob was referred to me by a friend and he is absolutely amazing...took time and explained all of my options. Just an amazing Dentist with such a great Staff that you can tell he appreciates. Would highly recommend!

This has to be hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. Having non-stop teeth problems my whole entire life, I've been in and out of dentists all the time. Always feeling uncomfortable. Never once did I feel uncomfortable here Dr Lyons and his staff are absolutely amazing. I waited to long in between going and then got to a point I was embarrassed. They immediately made me feel like a valued patient. It is always immaculate clean and comfortable. Dr. Lyons also goes above and beyond to assure his patients receive the absolute best care. Highly recommend. I now have most of my family going here and they also love it.

So many words I can say about Dr Lyons, he is truly a saint! He’s honest, kind, compassionate, smart, professional, and I can go on…but more importantly a doctor that I have 100% trust in and I know I can count on him for every advice and service he provides for myself and my children. The staff are so welcoming and friendly as well. Cassidy is a sweetheart and always professional. Ray does amazing with my two boys! Ponderosa smiles is a place you will feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. Highly recommend for families!

Dr Rob Lyon is an excellent dentist, extremely skilled and professional. He has a warm and caring personality which is also reflected by his staff. I appreciate his business model which prioritizes the lives of his family and those of his employees and patients. I enthusiastically recommend this dental practice.

I was originally seeing another dentist in Rapid City and heard about Ponderosa Smiles from a family member and I decided to give them a try. WOW - I am SO happy to have switched!! The front desk gal (I am sorry I don't recall her name!), Raye and Dr. Rob were SO friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough - I definitely was not receiving this extent of help/service at my previous dentist. Beyond grateful to have made the switch!

I would recommend Ponderosa Smiles to any of my friends or family. Not only is the atmosphere very pleasant but their staff is friendly and professional. I was quite nervous for my appointment as this was my first visit with them and I had not been to the dentist in years. I had negative experiences with my previous dentist so I was unsure of what to expect. Right as I walked in, Jamie at the front desk was waiting with a smile. Raye was my hygienist /assistant and she was wonderful and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Rob was just as warm and welcoming and we even got to chatting about home (Alaska) which made me feel even better. It was nice to share something familiar with new people and to have someone understand where I come from! If you are looking to establish a general dentist or find a new one, this is the place to go!
