    My Phone was dead, this was my only form of payment and they would not let me charge it charge it for 2 mins, to make a payment for a sub I was buying from the shop. Manger said she had been on the phone to head office and they said NO 🤣

    Arnison Centre 19/3 at 2:30pm..... the tastiest and best presented subways we've ever eaten. Didn't catch the name of the girl making them but they were perfection. Thank you.

    18/04/2023 Normally I'm not big fan of review. The worst experience at Subway (Arnison Centre). I regular Subway user, but definitely would not recommend this one, took ages to get my breakfast, one of the staff wasn't happy to made my breakfast order at 10.30am, on the end I received it cold(but I asked for hot sandwiches) she warm just sausage and bacon, but the loaf've been into oven 2 seconds, then I had cold loaf, egg, cheese with hot sausage and bacon. ***If you want to have a good day or if you don't want to make your day worst, AVOID THIS PLACE!

    Not the best sub tbh, staff a little slow may be a training issue ,(Q in store yet on guy constantly mopping the floor, also new menu selection harder to follow and brekwich totally tasteless.

    If I could give 0 stars I would! Ask for a sandwich and get a lucky dip with filling, complete with BAD attitude from staff! What you ask for isn’t what you get! Avoid at all cost! Staff are seriously ignorant.

    Order through app for collection. When we got back home the subs had all the wrong things inside. Meatball Marinara absolutley dripping with sweet chilli sauce that we didn't order no extra cheese or red onion. Another Meatball Marinara filled with pickles that we didn't ask for and the other sub was missing its sauce too. Tried to ring the store but no answer. Definitely wouldn't recommend ordering for collection.

    Just went in at approx 5:15pm. It isn’t meant to close until 8pm but all chairs were on the tables and everything packed away with nobody on the counter. We stood for a few minutes but nobody came out from the back. There were two young men eating sandwiches in the corner who I believe may have been the staff who had changed into their civilian clothing and were just having some food and a chat after deciding to pack up early but neither bothered to speak to us to explain.

    Every part of the our subs was wrong despite telling them exactly how we wanted them. It was a total mess and both had to be eaten at home with a knife and fork because it just wasn't possible to pick it up without the lot falling apart. The drinks we're nasty too. Not be going back to that one again

    Awful, asked for sandwich heated and was still freezing . Chinese women just threw all my salad in the sandwich , it went all over the place, wasn’t even watching what she was doing . During putting my sandwich together , a girl was asking for a break?? Got a drink , no straws so had to ask, didn’t refill them just gave me one. Rubbish all over the floor. Very unwelcoming and grubby . Horrible atmosphere.

    I don't go to Subway very often. However being undecided what to have for my afternoon meal whilst at the Arnison Centre after work I popped in here. Don't know why I bothered wasting my money. No one at the counter when I went in - I could hear voices far out of the back of the shop (I was only giving them another minute before I'd walk out) - the worker still didn't hear the next lot of customers come in. Chose my hearty Itallian 6 inch chicken and bacon After being toasted I was asked if I wanted any salad - I asked if there was any other lettuce as the stuff in the tub was browning very badly and this isn't something I'd even use at home. He didn't listen and picked some up to put in my sandwich when I had to repeat no. I asked if you had any fresh as I wouldn't use that even at home. They apparently didn't. Got my lettuce and sweetcorn and sauce on it and left Started to eat this in the car, the bread tasted really dry and stale as it had been there for days. Won't be in rush to go back 3/10

    I don't use subway much and I won't be rushing back. The staff were friendly BUT the portions were tiny and for a salad which cost's penny's, in such a massive box it was just really tight and certainly didn't feel like I'd had lunch. I also ordered a sandwich and wasn't asked if I wanted 6" or a footlong and she just prepared a footlong in the wrong bread, just not listening. why do these big brands think they can just rip people off.

    Drove here after checking then opening times which was meant to be 8pm. Got there at 7.45 and door was locked and closing up, why have opening hours if you can’t adhere to them

    Undoubtedly the WORST Subway experience ever, absolutely terrible customer service, a blatant rip off and the food was terrible. Called in after shopping, ordered a £6.19 foot long sandwich and asked for it to be cut in two so I could eat half now and half later. When I paid by contactless I realised it was charged at £7.98 not £6.19. When I questioned this it was because as it was cut in half and wrapped individually it was now two 6 inch sandwiches ! £1.79 for having a sandwich cut in two ! The member of staff was quiet abrupt with zero customer service skill when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The sandwich was not up to the good standard I would expect from Subway, the bread was falling apart as if it was old and the overall taste of the filling was poor. The feel of the outlet was depressing, a bad experience & I will not be returning.

    I ordered via the app for pick up. I hadn't been to Subway for over a year. The order was hopelessly wrong. I didn't find out until I got back home. Rubbish. I won't be going back any time soon.

    Visited during the eat-out to help out scheme. Was charged full price despite supposed discount. Once recieving the sandwich the staff swiftly left the counter unmanned, I then realised I had been handed an unsliced sandwich (footlong). I should have done a U-turn when the chap behind the counter couldn't figure out how to wear a face mask without blinding himself...

    I can't give feedback on what the food is like here; when I visited this past weekend, there was no staff on the counter to serve anyone. There were three customers in front of me also waiting to be served. One customer tried shouting to see if any staff were nearby, another tried ringing the shop phone number. Neither got us anywhere. After waiting 5 minutes and having no staff appear, I left the shop and went elsewhere. The other customers left just before me; they had been waiting 10 minutes. It's possible that there was only one staff member available, who could've been on their break. However, the company should ensure that the counter is always manned and that staff shouldn't have to choose between taking a break or being the only person serving customers. I won't be visiting again.

    I usually have two - three subways a week and have to say Subway Arnison Centre Durham is the worst I’ve been too. Miserable staff who were having personal conversations between themselves while serving. No interest in customers or what they’d like to order on their sandwiches then while customers are sitting down eating. Arguing between themselves about who is working which days what an unpleasant experience will definitely not be returning to this branch.

    Ordered a meal deal from Arnison Centre Subway. Ordered a foot long steak and cheese with some salad on Italian, tangy cheese Doritos and a blackcurrant, raspberry and apple drink…and my son bought me a small tuna / cheese melt bite size sandwich to try. I received… A foot long tuna salad 🤔 A orange and passion fruit water 🤔 Tangy cheese Doritos 🥳🥳🥳 A tuna and steak melt…which isn’t even a menu choice 🤯🤯🤯 We never usually complain and actually never usually buy subway, but considering what it cost, I wasn’t at all happy. Anyway, we got a refund from just eat… Definitely not ordering from there again.
