👍 Their pistachio dessert was incredibly delicious and their coffee was outstanding. Not only that, but the prices were also very reasonable and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend! People often mention pizza, great, good, coffee, nice, pizzas, friendly, lovely, delicious, staff,

Lovely relaxing place to sit and watch the world go by. The fig and walnut pizza is really lovely and quite unusual too. The base was nice and crispy. the toppings were balanced and delicious - nice mix of creamy/dairy and tart cutting through The lemonade here is really lovely too - fragrant and flavourful. Finally the vibe and service are spot on. Lovely gentleman running this place, good music and good ambience Recommend!

Great people watching spot! Had an iced coffee which was fine, nothing to rave about but the pizzas were perfect! And such good value. Nice place overall

Customer service is very friendly, great food concepts but there is room for development. I understand the foccacia pizzas are simple to produce when service is at a high capacity and they are fairly priced at £4.50/ sicilian pizza slice, slightly steep i thought at first but this is a great spot in the core of Newcastle-upon-Tyne's bustling Monument square. The mango bellini cocktail execution needs to be improved at £8.50 / 6oz. I would ditch the miniature clothing peg pinning the fresh basil's stem to the old-fashioned Sherry glass and instead try a champagne flute. Shoving a few basil stems into a short, stout glass is uncomplimentary, but a flute or long or high-ball will hold the garnish well, allowing it to flow naturally and will accommodate the basil's long stem (and make the mini pegs redundant). They've got some great options for light eaters, flavour hunters (brie and apple baguette) and thin crust pizzas including a bold mango purée option. Okay selection of big brand wines and largers. Would like to see some rum and tequila based cocktails, a margarita and perhaps more whiskey options.

Small Individual, lovely and friendly cafe bar. Breakfasts and pizzas available. Comfortable seating, with sturdy tables. Ideal for a quick studying or catching up on work, but no charging points for computers etc. ⭐️ friendly staff. ☕️ flat white coffee was more of a cappuccino and quite weak. ☕️ hot chocolate was delicious. 🫖 tea 🍰 cakes and pastries 🍕 pizza 🥤 cold drinks 🍸 wine and cocktails 🐶 dog friendly 🚻 No toilets.

Cozy European feel cafe with fantastic desserts. There’s a lunch offer for a 10” pizza and a soft drink for £8.95, or a dinner offer for a pizza and a wine or beer (Moretti or Estrella) for £10.95. The pizzas are freshly made, thin and crispy, and surprisingly nice with unique topping combinations. We had the Pleased to meet you and the Mango fandango which were really good. The cakes and desserts are so lovely that I’d be tempted to pop in just for a cup of tea and a brownie - which is uncharacteristic for me.

Great spot when we were hungry and looking for something cheap to fill the gap. Enjoyed these sandwiches and a pot of tea for £13 (sandwiches are hot, filling and £5 each). Lovely windows too which provided some fun people watching!

Tried their American Pancakes + Berries. Was ok, tasted like regular pancakes. Reasonable price. Small and nice cafe to hang out with your friends. Always have good deals offered! Went today for their 1st birthday and got free cake slices. Thank you!

Always drop by here whenever in Newcastle. In the summer there’s almost a Mediterranean feel when you can sit outside and people watch. Flat white just right strength paired with lovely pistachio cake. Americano highly recommended too. Staff always friendly. Can’t fault it.

Popped in for the first time for a quick light breakfast (heated Pain au Chocolat and a flat white). Great rustic atmosphere, very friendly staff. Primary do pizzas, coffee, wine and cocktails. Next time I'll come try one of the pizzas.

Nice food and nice staff. Beer was great after so long in lock down. I had the ring of fire small pizza, my wife had a pizza with pomegranate and goats cheese with balsamic dressing, was under 20 and if you can get a seat its worth every penny. I will visit again, many times. I think this will be my new starting place when I have a night out in town.

Warm and cozy seating. Came here for tea and cake and was not disappointed! The food was delicious! We had the velvet vanilla cake and it was certainly tasty. Would recommend.

Very weird experience, firstly, we came in and nobody greeted us, we kind of just hung around until we met eyes with someone and asked if we could have a table, 'yep'.. So we picked up menus and sat down, crammed nigh on shoulder to shoulder with another couple of people on the table beside us. Took us a while to realise we needed to stand back up and go to the counter to order despite the whole place only having 11 tables and us being right by the counter, my pal had only to stand up and turn 90 degrees to order, and we felt this was a weird choice for such a tiny little place to not have table service.. The pizza was alright, a bit bland by any measure and when i asked about what sauces they had, I was told that 'the boss doesn't allow sauces' so I was forced to just salt it and eat it their way instead of my own preference. My friend was served his croissant which arrived by itself in a plate, no offerings of jam or butter or anything.. The drinks were nice, but at 8.50 my pal only got about 3 mouthfuls of his cocktail, however the English garden at the same price was, in honesty, a little gem of a drink. Staff were nice overall, the one star is for the management choices of whoever own it.. I've worked myself in hospitality for 10 years at one point, I could see how people could enjoy this place, but for us it was just a weird vibe overall.

Dropped in here after hospital appointment for a bite to eat chose the pizza deal, I was not disappointed the pizza was freshly made and very very tasty a thin crust pizza which is a favourite of mine but this establishment makes a very very good pizza also a good deal with a soft drink or if you fancy a alcohol drink a little extra. I will visit here again well done guys

I brought a baguette from here today and it was not great! It’s was beef, cheese and rocket sandwich, which looked great at first glance. I took the sandwich back to work and was very disappointed. Firstly, it had very little in the way of filling. 80% of it seemed to be rocket and the baguette was quite hard. This leads me to believe it was quite old. Secondly, the cost of this baguette was rather high for the amount of filling it contained. I don’t think I’ll be going again.
