Very nice terrace floating on the lake. Staff was nice and fast to serve us. Cool vibe and great to sit in the sofa’s enjoying the lake view. Recommended

Very nice restaurant next to the lake. The breakfast tasted very very good. The location is amazing with a very nice view. The only problem was the ridiculous amount of wasps but that is not the fault of the restaurant. The personnel was very friendly and spoke English very well!

Incompetent service. Could not manage to serve 2 portions of Bruschetta in 40 minutes. Then we're told unapologetically "oh we've served to someone else by mistake, but it's not my fault as I'm not responsible for my colleague..." Customer service drowned in the lake. Cold coffee that was served (in time) did not have any coffee in it, just cold milk with coffee ice cream. Pathetic. They undoubtedly have the best location on the lake, great architecture, sand covered floating platform with seating. The food offering (buffet or Bruschetta) lacks imagination and effort. Café-Bistro Kap is perfect for your Instagram pictures. Go for food elsewhere.

a very busy place with fast service and nice setting by the lake, "sandy beach bar" is kind of annoying due to sand in your shoes...

Had a late breakfast there while travelling further southwards: Nice location with a pier extension of the Bistro extending into the lake. Great vista! Nice style, friendly and fast service, the breakfast combinations, like e. g. the Italian breakfast, very tasty with excellent ingredients and good value for money. Covid19-check for vaccination and registration via QRcode and app being done very professionally. Would visit again when in the region.

Nice bar which is half floating on the water. Perfect place to enjoy the sun with good food/drinks.

Very nice vegetarian and vegan options! Mostly offering a buffet and small dishes from the menu. Great view on the lake, nice beach sand on the outer terrace. The food was delicious, we did a small dish on the buffet. They offer single plates or all-you-can-eat options

Nice cafe on the banks of Millstättersee. Good cocktails, good food and deserts. Fast service. But best thing is the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Can get busy, but it's worth waiting for table to open.

A beautiful floating platform on the Millstättersee... Snacks and food and drinks ..Very relaxing and a nice atmosphere..Can get very busy, but staff are very efficient though. Prices a little higher than a local pub...but the view is worth every cent .

I'd just like to know what that is in one of the stalls in the womens restroom. I am not implying anything just curious. Edit: Thank you for your answer! I really appreciate the clarification that it is just a motion sensor. I just wanted to make sure:)
