Restaurant and coffee bar in a beautiful historic building hidden behind Erste bank. Great coffee, friendly staff and amazing atmosphere!

The garden area, whilst nice, isn't what is made out in the reviews. We definitely felt it was oversold. Our waiter, when we asked for recommendations for dishes and wines, offered us very generic information and essentially was of no help. We ordered the squid and octopus. The semolina puree was quite unpleasant. The octopus was overcooked and a tad rubbery. Finally - be mindful that given the restaurant is in a garden, it is an absolute haven for mosquitos. My girlfriend and I were there for an hour and got bitten alive. A shame, because we were really looking forward to this dinner after reading the reviews.

Terrible experience. We waited almost 2 hours for 2 SALADS, which were served at 22:30. The tuna in the salad was way over cooked. The waiter apologized for the delay and offered wine, but of course we were not able to drink it as we already had some on an empty stomach, and needed to drive home. No discount on the final price was offered. 60 euros for 2 salads and 1 bottle of wine.

More like 2.5 stars. Its a good looking place, no doubt, but the food was subpar at best. The medium steak was rare and tough. Baked octopus was served with 1 cherry tomato and plain boiled semolina that tasted like nothing. The octopus was okay. Beef tartar was a good spin, we enjoyed it. The fish soup was flavorful broth, but nothing special. In conclusion, we didn't hate it, but it wasn't really worth it.

It is a beautiful place with a big garden. It feels like you are in a dream once you entered. Calm and quiet with soft and soothing music. And only 10 minutes outside of the old town. The food was palatable, and the service was incredible. The food takes a bit more time to be served, but the taste justifies why. We ordered a plateau with local cheese and prosciutto, tagliatelle with beef, veggie risotto, a blueberry tart and an excellent merlot (house wine). It was a unique experience! Thank you so much!

We fall in love with this place. Amazing food, very good waiter Goran (thank you!) and scenery. Definitely we will be back and recommend the place.

A pleasant oasis for drinking coffee, very pleasing to the eye (kudos to the person who designed the perivoj) and to the ear - you can talk because the music is not offensive. There is a section for eating (in one corner), but I didn't eat. Ten minutes from the Riva on foot, there is a parking lot nearby and it is also possible to access strollers.

The worst restaurant ever. Got told what they recommend we order, I.e. the set menu. 19 people in our group. 4 decided to choose off of the normal side. Which in fact had the same stuff as the set menu. Twenty minutes later, we are told the chef will not waver from set menu. So the four people were forced to reorder. We should of left. 19 people x 60 euro plus drinks. And the chef couldn't take orders from his menu. Please stay away, still waiting for our food.

Fantastic meal in this restaurant tonight. Waiter Franco was excellent and very attentive. Helped in choosing the wine and local beers for our group. Our chef Philip was excellent and the food was amazing. Highly recommended this restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

Food & Service amazing! We were there with a toddler and there is a playground near by. Food portion are smaller but make it all up in taste. The gnocchi were a dream come true! What an experience!!!

I wish I found this place sooner! Such a relaxed atmosphere with the beautiful garden. The service and food was amazing. It’s still close to old town but away from the hustle and bustle.

If you want to have a coffee or a fancy drink in peaceful garden like place Perivoj is a place to visit. The stuff is very friendly and the service is very good.

Charming place, specially during the Advent Time. Music is not too loud so it's a wonderful place to spend joyful time with your friends enjoying affordable food and drinks.

Unfortunately the food we ordered was really bad. Black risotto was not tasteful and the chicken in gorgonzola sauce was really too salty. In addition to that, we had to wait almost an hour to eat and it was not crowded. Prices are also a bit high for what we ate. Dinner on 15-08-2022

We ordered 4 pizzas and some drinks and it was amazing. Stuff was so friendly and prices are very low. I will come back definitely.

No! No no no no no no Never in my life I've met people more unpleasent. We tried to eat in this restaurant twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. For dinner they told us that there was a party going on and the kitchen was too busy (and that's ok - understandable). The morning after, we went there for breakfast at 8.30 and one waiter told us there was no more breakfast and they can't serve us (the manners were really brutal - he said "no breakfast"). Another waiter told us that we could have breakfast so we accommodate. The only thing they had for breakfast were croissant with ham and cheese - nothing else. Again, that's OK for God's sake but what about the manners?!

I ordered a Tuna steak which was very well-cooked! The restaurant is a fancy place with great service. Highly recommended for those who don't want to be cramped eating at the old town. The food is definitely unquestionable better than the touristic area.

Great service, food was lovely. I must say, on the mildly negative side, fish soup was pretty plain. However, the sea bass, gnocchi, prosciutto , steak. all amazing!! Great location, staff couldn’t be more helpful, and a beautiful building and setting. Recommended.

Fantastic dining experience! Cuisine is delicious, the place looks amazing due to greenery and the overall exterior, and Goran is simply the best! His service made our evenings at Perivoj unforgettable.

Kind staff, moderate to high prices. Toilette is CLEAN and very has interesting design. Their cousine is great, also COKTAILS are great. Grass is very green even dough it is middle summer. Water in the fountain is clean and transparent. Love the lights. Very ROMANTIC atmosphere. Also you can come here with KIDS. Great for GROUPS with previous announcement.

The place is something different, the service is just great and the food espectacular. More than recommended. Out of the crowd from Split tourist center, a chill place to just enjoy the amazing food they serve.
