Travelled to many places around the world . This restaurant is unique vin its ambiance. Its got a natural cave which they converted into a restaurant. The food is great and the young man's who's family own the place looked after us very well ,both the occasions we visited them.Will definitely recommend this place.. 👌

The name of the restaurant is fitting, it is partly located in a cave – where they also have tables, it is also possible to sit outside on a terrace which is also really nice. The food was really good and the waiters where also friendly and put a lot of effort into their service. The only complain I have is that I got grilled calamari instead of fried – but I guess this was just a communication problem.

We nearly didn't go because of the complainers of Google reviews but we are so glad we ignored them and decided to go anyway as we really would have missed out! The food was really good!! 😋 we had the tomato soup, muscles, fish with veg tagliatelle, steak, roast vegetables and the baked potatoes. We shared all of it between two of us and all of it was delicious. The portion sizes were also decent and was too much for two people but we powered through as it all had great flavours. The cave looked epic especially when it got dark and lit up. It was also nice and cool when we were dying to get out of the heat. Staff were friendly and super attentive. Also dog friendly and staff were kind enough to bring them out a water bowel without us asking. The dogs also appreciated a cooling place to hang out. All in all great experience. You should definitely go.

If you get the opportunity to visit grota you won't be disappointed. I was in a group of 3 and we ordered different meals and tried each others meals. We agreed all 3 meals were excellent. The setting is unique built inside a cave with fantastic homemade wooden furniture.

Amazing place! The food was good value for money and the service was exceptional. The restaurant is built into a cave which gives it a Unique vibe! Would definitely go here again

Great place! Good food, friendly staff. A very good choice for family or a romantic dinner. The place looks very good and we hope to come back someday. I specially enjoyed the fish plate and local wine. Ps - because it is actually a Grote (as the name says) the phone signal can be pretty much bad.

Most of the restaurant isn't IN the cave but very close and is pretty when lit up at night. The food is good but not amazing, but the cocktails are great and not too pricey. It's worth going to if near Split or Trogir.

Lovely view, nice ambiance and kind staff. The food however is just not good. Also we saw the guy cooking the meat literally lighting his cigarette with a tool from the fire over which the meat was being cooked and smoke it over the food. He was also blowdrying the smoke from the hearth with an actual hair blowdrier, which, if it certainly did not improve the quality of the food, at least made for some entertainment.

It is a unique place to eat. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it as a place to eat.
