👍👍 Nice shady spot for lunch. Penne Alla Norma was very good, but the Fuzi was truly amazing. It’s listed as a hot appetizer but it was about the same portion as the other dish, so it was plenty for lunch. There was a live piano player under the shade who was playing some amazing music too. I definitel... People often mention great, good, location, service, restaurant, music, delicious, pasta, amazing, staff,

Poklisar is superbly well situated with a view on the marina in the old city. The food was good quality. The flat bread was soft and delicious. The charcuterie platter came with a homemade pesto with bacon (yum)! At night, the ambiance is 10x with a talented pianist playing a wide range of music and songs. The setting just made you feel Life is good! Price is reasonable given the location. Service staff are super friendly. Vlaho was very attentive. If you have the Dubrovnik card, you get 10% reduction on the bill. Do not forget to let them know in advance.

We would like to thank waiter Zlatan. The dishes was so delicious, the wine than he recommended was perfect for the summer dinner. Nice and calm atmosphere at the restaurant, we are going to spend 6 days in Dubrovnik, definitely will be back tomorrow to taste some more dishes.

This restaurant is in a perfect location. Close to the water, just out of Old town, dine and people watch. 🤣 The food was delicious. We shared a pizza and quinoa salad, it was perfect. The quinoa salad was delicious and light after walking around the old town wall. Relaxing and the service was attentive and friendly. I’m sorry I didn’t take photos, it was so yummy we ate it too fast.

This restaurant is highly recommended. Amazing evening with my girlfriend, the restaurant is really nice and service relatively quick, price are competitive with dubrovnick average dinner meal, the quality of the food is amazing. Service is good and waiter really polite and available to give suggestion and dishes explanations. Thank you very much Raffaele

The food was delicious (I had the lamb burger with fries and the roasted vegetables as side), and the other 7 people I was traveling with all very much enjoyed their meals. The service was slightly slow or maybe a bit under staffed that evening. We were a bit shocked by how expensive the drinks were (soft drinks). But an all round great vibe and delicious food. Would recommend this.

Negatives: Ridiculously expensive (as are most of the restaurants in Old Town) - as an example, nearly 10 euros for a portion of fries. And veggie pasta dish costing around 25 euros. The food was VERY average - I had the aubergine pasta, which only had 3 slices of deep fried aubergine on top of a basic tomato sauce and pasta. My other half had pasta with pancetta and capers which he described as full of cream but no flavour. Service was poor - had to ask for Parmesan and fresh black pepper. Inattentive staff. Positives: Great location in old town, near the Waters Edge. Wonderful live music, with a live jazz band

The best restaurant we tried in our week long stay in Dubrovnik, by far. We even went two days in a row! The staff was very professional and helpful. The food was delicious! The view great, the atmosphere very relaxed and there was also great live music, but not at a volume that disturb conversation. They have 3 vegetarian mains and at least 3 vegetarian pizzas. The first night both my husband and I had penne alla norma. It was delicious. On the off chance that you are Italian don't expect the same exact dish you would be served in Italy: aubergine is roast and marinated rather than fried and the tomato sauce has some spices added to it but it tasted really good. We also had chips and olive for sides, both really good and we were pleasantly surprised at being served what looked and tasted like Kalamata olives. We also had the lemon cake when olive oil and rosemary, which was also rather nice. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of our first meal there as we tucked in immediately! The second night we had pizza, I had the Mediterranea one, with aubergine and grana padano and my husband had cotto and funghi. We both loved it, it was very tasty, not too salty and easy to digest. A bit more pricey than other restaurants we tried but absolutely worth it. Would definitely recommend and will go back if we are ever in Dubrovnik again.

The location is great. The food is very good overall. The pasta I ordered was very tasty though undercooked which most definitely was a concern but the tastes were very good. Still, a very nice food experience. There is all sorts of dishes. Would recommend

Food | Staff | Comfort | location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend! I enjoyed the location very much. It's a place you can watch the world pass by while eating great food. The food is excellent, the staff are highly attentive. Well positioned away from the busy main street. Staying for 1 day or longer! This is an excellent location for dining day or evening. I especially enjoyed the fact that you could escape the mid day heat, plenty of shaded areas. Drink whatever takes your fancy, nibble on ice cream, or grab a coffee. If you fancy sea food or a stylish burger, this is an excellent choice. The menu was comprehensive yet simple and clear. The food and staff are first class. I am sure you will enjoy it. - I travel the world on a full time bases my review is based on my own experience. If you take value from my comments, please give it a 👍 to help other travellers.

liked the food (potato soup and seafood tomato pasta) high price of food and drink, probably due to the location (right outside the city wall and in front of the port) friendly staff (thanks nemo!)

Very reasonably priced food especially in the old town area, the service was nice, we checked out the menu and were greeted right away. The service was great and they even had live music being played as well. Ps the steak is very very good as well as the portion that you receive!

If I could give the owner and staff of this restaurant higher than 5 stars I would! They were so kind and instantly came up with a way to rescue my phone from the ocean floor. I wasn’t able to enjoy the food, but from the reviews and what food I did see I would absolutely give this place a try! They are in a prime location to enjoy the sights while listening to live music. I’m sure the food won’t disappoint! I will certainly visit them next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my night and helping me get my phone back… which incredibly still works!

We finished our tour and we wanted some authentic Croatian food and we saw this was a family owned business. The lady who helped us was so sweet and the food was amazing. We loved the place mats and the location close to the water just made.it even better with how beautiful the day was. We will have to go back so we can try more dishes. You need to try this place they are the sweetest people and treat everyone like family. We enjoyed a wonderful chicken dish that was fresh and light. My husband had the special which was a seasoned pork dish he loved. You need to ask for the garlic

Poklisar is an old, family run restaurant located on the Ploče (Old Town Harbour) which adds to the experience. The food was excellent and served in record time! The meat in my choice of Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder melted in my mouth. 😋 The ambience is added to by a live pianist and guitarist. Excellent, quick and friendly service.

Great service from Adam. Good tasting food. Squid risotto amazing. Booked in advance and had an okay table although would have liked a bit more of a view. Apparently pasta can be made gluten free.

We enjoyed the Tonnarelli Poklisar, calamari, and warm bread with garlic olive oil. It was great food. Octopus tasted fresh. Service was slow. Husbands beer was frozen when it arrived, new one was provided. Overall would dine again. Service was a little slower than I would expect since it had just rained and the restaurant was relatively empty.

Whilst Poklisar is in a great location and the live music made for a lovely atmosphere, it felt a little spoiled by poor service. The food took over an hour to arrive after we had finally had our order taken and that was only after we had asked about it. When the food eventually did arrive it was quite cold. A shame because had it been hot I imagine it could have been really nice! Our waitress acknowledged the poor service and was very apologetic, she did take some money off the bill which is why the score isn’t lower.

Great place! Tried many places in the old town but this one was the best by far. Food was really good and prices are very reasonable compared to other places. Loved it. Can’t recommend it enough!

It is located in the marina part of Old Town. The places here are usually quite expensive, but this was reasonably priced. Service was attentive, and food came quite fast even though it's almost full. Pizza margarita was great, the pasta (prosciutto and shrimp) was 4/5 - I would've wanted some shrimps!

Busy location but great service and food. Live music in the background made this a quaint stop for lunch. Cesear salad was good, husband’s pork was tasty and the party drink hit the spot. The bread/pita was deep fried or perhaps it was dipped in oiled which was not what I was expecting but an interesting treat.

I arrived to Dubrovnik sleepy and hungry (had an early flight and have not managed to get anything to eat all day) so my first stop upon dropping my luggage was to find a spot to eat. I bumped into this upon my cruise through the old town, just by the water where the boats take their guests out for a cruise I spotted this terrace restaurant. I had an extremely helpful and kind waitress and she helped me to order a ceviche as a starter and their homemade seafood pasta, she recommended I try their flat bread and quite frankly it was the highlight of the dish- freshly made, crunchy, drizzled all over by their locally made olive oil. I accompanied it by a nice glass of local white dry wine and I could not be happier. Everything was delicious and it ambience just felt amazing, given it was early April and the sun gently shone on our lunch spot. 5* recommend!

Absolutely delicious, the portions were more than generous and the service was outstanding, Nika was a star 🌟 The black risotto is so filling but each bite makes you want to keep eating, cuttlefish was new to me but it goes so well with the cheese and rice. The beef tartare is very light which is perfect for a starter, it is large enough to share between two people and it comes with flatbread. The buratta was tasty and the tomatoes were refreshing. You can have a relaxing lunch or dinner by the port and admire the views while you eat!

Walked by one night and we’re so glad we made the decision to give this restaurant a try. Our server was Nina and she was just terrific and treated us so kindly. We got 3 main dishes and all took a few bites from each dish. We got the lamb burger, the penne pasta (THE BEST IVE EVER EATEN), and the fish filet. There was also a man playing the piano and it was just beautiful with the view of the boats. Everything was amazing.

Stunning venue located in the Harbour area...the food is exceptional the service is excellent... I had the tuna pizza which was good, prices are on the high side but reasonable... We had the best seating area in the restaurant which was at the back with a little sea view.. The front has music bands playing great music... Good vibe all round

We had dinner here 2 days in a row because we loved the place. Everything is perfect. Good food, tuna is great, risotto very good, pizza with anchovies and the squid also great. Location is gorgeous and the band that plays during dinner is lovely, it really makes the place worth a visit.

Walk though the wall and your taste buds are in for a treat. Food is great. And the staff well they were great. I laugh with the waiters before and after dinner. My fillet of beef was mouthwatering. Everyone in my family love their food. Sit back and enjoy. Food drinks and people watching. All the boats coming and going. I was blessed to enjoy this place.

This is truly a Gem in the heart of Dubrovnik. Not only was the food and drinks incredible, what made the experience more amazing was the staff, especially Nina and Davor who looked after us, both where super friendly and accommodating to me, my fiancé and our 7 month old. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the outdoor seating area provides a view of Lokrum island which made the experience more amazing and relaxing while enjoying a cocktail. Definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to go back there again next time we are in Dubrovnik.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Went there for lunch as we got hungry while finishing the walk around the old walls. They got nice view of the area and the ambiance was perfect, they got singer and music player too.

Good location. Good menu with vegan options. Did not think the service was great. Suitable for tourist location..
