Quality and experience did not meet expectation based on reviews of others. Ordered Uramaki Spicy Losos and Uramkai Spicy Tuna neither of them came as pictured or described (pictured below) - missing spicy sauce, salad, spicy mayonnaise and spring onions. Rolls came just tuna and salmon with cucumber. Rainbow roll did not come as described missing avocado just had tempura breading and cucumber. Maki Tuna was not tuna (pictured below) and was all rice hardly fish. Paid extra for Riblji Tartar Tuna and did not receive as pictured or described missing salad, tomatoes, capers as the order came with bread and butter. Order did not come with utensils (chopsticks) as expected when eating sushi. I have never written a public review online for any restaurant but this really was a very disappointing and unfortunate experience as a first time customer.

Avrage overpriced sushi, service was also bad. Since the place invested the time to replay to me review I'll elaborate. By average I mean that the Nori was soggy, the salmon skin roll was chewy and had mostly cooked salmon in it. Fish butchering and roll cutting was also bad. If you don't belive me, check the picture added. We paid around 500 kr for this plate, I'll let the readers judge for themselves.

It’s a great sushi experience. The ambiance inside is very welcoming and charming. Great wine list, food and hospitable service. Waiter who served me made me feel welcomed, is really knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Will be back, recommended!

Very good sushi in very nice location. The restaurant was very fancy with high-quality table sets. Fish was extremely good and the rolls were creative. We only have one complaint: We were served a roll that did not have everything in it that was described on the menu. Unfortunately we only noticed afterwards when we had the menu again but when we asked about it the waitress didn’t have an explanation and didn’t try to make up for it.

Antonio was a great server! Very attentive! My husband and I are here for our honeymoon from the U.S. and we had the smoked sword fish and 3 different sushi rolls. SO GOOD!!!

We had a great meal while in Split. The service was excellent and very attentive. The sushi was delicious. We ordered a few different portions to try and it didn’t disappoint. The cheesecake was also very good for dessert.

The wait service was very friendly. The meal itself was disappointing for me but I didn't want to mark it with lower stars as I suspect that part of it is a difference between my taste and local taste. Of the sushi, we tried the Nigiri Gof (Yellow Tail), Nigiri Hot salmon (flambéed salmon), Nigiri Hot Tuna (flambéed salmon), Nigiri Rose Salmon (with Philadelphia cheese and herbs) and the Tiger Roll (tempura vegetables, salmon and unagi sauce). I believe they use locally caught Adriatic fish and I wish they would play up the local flavour more. I'm not usually a fan of philadelphia cheese in sushi but decided to give one a try since most of their sushi has philadelphia in it. They had actually made the cheese quite light and fluffy so it was a delight. Overall the sushi was fresh and very nicely presented but lacked flavour and was not as good as I've had it anywhere else in the world. The sea bass was very salty. We were recommended to add more oil and salt to the dish but I felt that would have overwhelmed it. We tried some fresh oysters (without any sauce) and they were indeed fresh. They tasted of the ocean.

My partner and I had dinner at Adriatic Sushi and Oyster bar and had an incredible experience. We had starters and sushi, which was excellent. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. If you like Rosé, I highly recommend getting the Markus Rosé from Croatia. We will definitely be coming again and recommending to friends and family who will be traveling here in the coming months!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. We booked as a group of 9 for lunch, faultless service, food and drinks. Highly recommend, the staff were lovely and nothing was too much hassle, the sushi was the best I have had in a long time.

No matters if you’re a sushi lover or not, Adriatic Sushi & Oyster bar will surprise you! They don’t only have one of the best service and personal in Split but amazing tasty food which you will love. We tried different Uramaki, we liked so much that we decided to book a table for next day and also try their Futomaki, tuna tartar and ceviche. We left the place with a smile both days! I highly recommend Adriatic Sushi & Oyster bar!

Everything simply marvelous. Food, drinks, service top. For the service we would give 10 stars not just 5. Every dish and drink came with an explanation and tasted just as good as it was described. A must when you visit Split.

What a lovely lovely spot. Amazing and friendly waiters (Vanja in particular was incredible). The sushi was spectacular, the cocktails were great, and the setting is just perfect in a quiet little square. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful restaurant. We had the oysters and some sushi to start and the fettuccini and the tuna as a main. Filling and every bite delicious. The service from our waiter Nemanja was 10/10. They made us feel so welcome and so friendly. Our experience was one we will never forget.

We came to this restaurant because we wanted to try oysters in Croatia. These were the best Oysters we have ever eaten. They were extremely fresh and the sushi we had afterwards was delicious. The service was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The only downfall is that the portion sizes are small for the price.

Solid sushi, but not amazing. Definitely lacking some flavor, spice/seasoning and authenticity, and pretty overpriced for what you get (€10 for 4 small pieces of simple spicy salmon roll). Great service and atmosphere in the outdoor seating area tho

Th food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. We got the basic platter for 2 and it was truly the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had. The restaurant is beautiful tucked away among old walls despite being very chic. Located on a path perfect for people watching. The service was also amazing the people so kind. I highly recommend if you are looking for fish and sushi and great service!

We waited a bit long for our food but the quality of the seafood and tasting of the risotto made up for it. They gave us drinks of our choice on the house to make up for the extended wait and Mladin, our waiter was just terrific. He made up for it all!

This place is absolutely amazing! Such a fresh taste. We were served by the lovely John who recommended incredible dishes whilst giving us some background on the food. Honest Food is hard to come by and a waiting staff that knows his roots is even harder to find. For me the missing star is not because the food is not nice but rather I don’t prefer the taste (like the extra dry tannins of sauces) which is liked by most I guess. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the squid is super fresh! Love most of the taste with… * Special mention to a very good extra virgin olive oil that has a beautiful aroma. Made me eat 3 slices of bread just dipping in the oil!!! On the whole, this is an excellent

The sushi is sooo delicious! One of the best sushi places in Croatia, and you definitely need to try all the special sushi! The waiter (Bojen) is very nice, helpful and friendly. We definitely will come here again!

Fantastic food and awesome service, delivering straight to our door in Trogir. Saved the day of celebration for my husband's birthday, as he was really craving a sushi feast. We got that and more. Quality food, great prep and 5*service. Much appreciated extra touches at a time when eating out is just not possible. Will definitely visit the restaurant when it reopens but will keep ordering home delivery in the meantime. Highly recommended!

Very very good sushi! We took the Cevisick as starter and took all kinds of sushi and we're pleasantly surprised by the taste of them! Also, the deserts were just delicious! Worth every penny!

I can’t recommend this place. The service is decent, but the food isn’t good. The sushi rice particularly is hard, thick, and not soft at all really. In addition to this, the portion sizes to price are ridiculous, even for California price standards. A photo of this stuff looks like supermarket sushi. I’ve actually had better supermarket sushi before. I typically spend a couple hundred $ on sushi, but left after the first order because it wasn’t good. Sorry, but no.

Stopped for a quick “snack”. What I liked the most about this place is decor. Food (sushi) was fine, nothing special. Some pieces had too much rice and too little fish. Prices were a bit high for that. Service was good. And the atmosphere was very good.

Food is nice, waiter was friendly and helpful, but be ready to spend at least 40 mins to get your food even at 3PM, when only 3-4 tables are occupied.

My group had an INCREDRIBLE experience. We’ve been in Croatia for 2 weeks and this was by far our favorite experience!! 10/10 recommend! We ordered the ceviche, tuna taka tiki but our favorite was the sushi itself. We loved the agemaki and Adriatic rolls the best! Namanja was an amazing server and we hope to have him again on our next trip! Try to get his section if you can!

A welcome change to Mediterranean fare. My husband and I were thrilled to try a sushi restaurant on our trip to Italy and Croatia. This restaurant was exactly what we needed — wonderful local wine, fresh sushi, and remarkable service. We shared the premium sushi combo, which was the perfect amount for a couple!
