We had dinner at the Medizerraneo. It is not easy to find because there are 3 restaurants next to each other. The steak was really good. Unfortunately I ordered medium and well done was served. Nevertheless it was at the end a very good steak. The service was also very friendly and he offered me to bring a new steak. I would say surrounded by many touristic food opportunities, this is really a good choice to have a nice dinner. Addendum: We visited the restaurant again 2 days later. The steak was awesome, same as the service. All underlines my review from the first time.

Think about a good pizza… Service was good, pizzas were excellent, good size, cooked perfectly, wine list is short but on, ambiance and location good. There are also other dishes like pasta and fish.

This place is FANTASTIC! We came here based on Google reviews and it did not disappoint. The owner of the restaurant waited on us because one of his staff members was sick. He did an exceptional job. We ordered the bruschetta, stuffed squid, salmon pasta, and steak, plus 3 glasses of wine. Our total bill was $98 USD so it was great value for the money. The owner even brought us out a free dessert which was so kind. Aside from the food, the outdoor seating area is in a beautiful courtyard with lights. There are several other restaurants around which makes it a fun atmosphere without being too loud. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing dinner. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, we ordered a cold starter platter and the shrimp soup - which tasted amazing. As a main we had the Jack Daniel's medallions which were super juicy, flavourful and tender and a lobster which was served on a large portion of pasta with shrimp and could easily serve 2 people. The pizza was also very tasty. All in all perfect experience given the large crowds in Split.

Restaurant situated 1 minute walking distance from Diocletian's palace, generous portions and delicious food, served with attention to every detail. A note of respect also to the waiter who served us very helpful and kind.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of old town! Delicious meals, gorgeous presentation & amazing service. We had a very pleasant dinner in a group of 9 friend and all meals came at the same time and very quick. All freshly made and very testy! Thank you for a great time! We will definitely be back!

I came for dinner with my boyfriend and found great food and service provided by Daniel who explained us the details of the menu and listened to every request. We especially enjoy the lava cake (in the pictures) which was amazing and the ambiance.

Good place to have dinner. Ate a Tuna Steak and Seafood Black Spaghetti and all was delicious (specially the pasta). An excellent service. It might be a bit overpriced like the rest of Split.

We ended up here mostly because the menu was varied enough that we all could find something to eat, and we're happy we did. The seafood pasta and the truffle gnocci were very nice but the star of the evening was the steak. It may not look spectacular in the photo (what's this thing with people in the balkans hating sauce?) but it was! We all tried a piece and it was fantastic! Very nice service from the owner himself and a lovely setting in a small square in the old town - highly recommended!

A true gem in the old city of Split, at an uncrowded little square. Everything was fresh and delicious, and our waiter was nice. It's a must-try if you love seafood, we didn't regret anything. No reservation needed, and the wait time for food was short. Payment by card is accepted.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Staff were accomodating when making our reservation earlier in the day and our waiter was really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was outstanding. Seafood was unreal. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice place and very testy food. We ate calamari, gnocchi and o octopus salad- everything was great. Proces are also not as high comparing to other places.

Have been in Split for a few days and this was our favorite restaurant by far. The owner was our waiter and gave us great recommendations. The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. This will be my first stop when I return back to Split! 10/10 recommend!

Gorgeous food. Had the fish pate and gnocchi which I'd go back for! The outside is such a nice vibe as well Just really slow service - tables either side of us from sushi and pizza place were so quick/attentive. Its fine for the most part but even if wed just had water poured as we sit when it's 30oC rather than wait 10/15mins would have made a big diff! Would still recc the food and the vibe of the area there. Prices were also good for the area and quality etc!

Had a nice seafood lunch here. Ordered their mixed grill platter which had clams, mussels, langoustine and crab. Also ordered an octopus salad. The seafood was fresh and both dishes were prepared nicely. A bit on the higher end as far as prices, but we were happy with our meal.

Very nice location and atmosphere. We had mussels, mushroom risotto and seafood black pasta. The pasta and mussels were great, risotto a little “meh”. Prices are reasonable, portions big and staff very friendly.

We were very satisfied with our choice dishes! We have ordered black gnocchi with prawns and coquilles Saint Jacques. It was well prepared and it had a beautiful presentation! The service was also nice and quick! We had a nice shade during a very hot day in August ;)

Very delicious dishes and excellent service. We took tuna steaks and pizzas, can warmly recommend those. Surrounding was pleasant.

Beautiful, quiet square in the middle of the old town! We had a bottle of rose which was delicious (we didn’t order food). The nicest place we found for some quiet, to read a book, amongst the hustle and bustle!

Our waiter was amazing, very polite and nice. My dish (fish and potato) was good. My boyfriend wasn't satisfied with lamb that he had, it wasn't enough for one person and it wasn't something.

Me and my partner found this restaurant whilst dining in the restaurant opposite the night before. Most other restaurants were full so it seemed a safe option. Contrary to the majority of reviews, my partner has come down with severe food poisoning after eating the seafood pasta. It looked lovely and tasted nice but the aftermath not so much. The pizza I had was great and I cannot say anything bad about it. The service was professional and welcoming. Would be a 4* had it not been for the clear lack of care taken in food preparation or other reasons for the development of food poisoning. The atmosphere was nice and the outside seating area was a must with the weather being so warm.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere! It's not as noisy as the main street. The food is great and they have vegan options as well. The staff is also very friendly.

Well we passed by this place by chance. The food is simply amazing with a fair price. We ordered mediterranean salad; it was full of chicken... and a classical pizza which was perfect... and a pork dish which was also great. The portions are big. What is remarkable is the waiter Slav. He did not serve our table yet you could see his enthusiasm and dedication to his job with full attention to everyone. Slav you are simply amazing :)

The food was delicious, very good portion. We had Lobster with green noodles to share, seafood pasta & Gnocchi with Truffle & mushroom. Really good! Maybe a little bit salty for our taste, but still delicious. Really nice restaurant with a good atmosphere.

Garlic bread wasn’t on the menu however they made it anyway, pizza was unbelievable, waiter was brilliant. highly recommend!

Late dinner with my family. Lovely place, with very good food, a bit more expensive due to the prime position inside the old town. We had octopus salad with chickpeas (amazing), mediterraneo salad, tuna salad and veggie risotto. The food was fresh, very tasty and the waiter very friendly. The toilet was clean. Highly recommend it.

They have great and fresh food, the waiter was extremely nice and fulfilled all of our wishes, it tasted fantastic, I had the Rib Eye Steak and it was perfect, it was big and came with grilled potatoes and a dip. The desserts are freshly homemade and very good and have a taste, not just sweet. You can really taste that it was made fresh in house
