Kebab House

Kebab shop

😠 Not sure what just happened. When I arrived the restaurant was empty except for the woman working. I ordered 1(one) “kebab box” (comes with fries) and the woman asked if I wanted bread or a wrap. I told her “a wrap”. She proceeded to make 2 kebabs on bread and put them in the microwave to heat them... People often mention kebab, good, price, night,

Not sure what just happened. When I arrived the restaurant was empty except for the woman working. I ordered 1(one) “kebab box” (comes with fries) and the woman asked if I wanted bread or a wrap. I told her “a wrap”. She proceeded to make 2 kebabs on bread and put them in the microwave to heat them up. I told her I only wanted one and she looked confused. She then mumbled something I couldn’t hear and looked at me as if it were a question I was supposed to answer. I asked her to repeat the question and she proceeded to smother the sandwich in a copious amount of mayonnaise. As I’m not from this country and would like to be as respectful as possible, I politely paid and left hoping I could manage to eat the sandwich. It was gross. Maybe if you go with a local it will be a better experience.

Excuse me, but what is this?! Without exaggerating: the worst kebab I have ever eaten in Europe. The kebab is topped cold, then wrapped in aluminium and burnt beyond recognition on a plate (patties burnt, all the way through on both sides). The kebab only tastes burnt and charred. Inedible! Even from what you could assess or "taste" of other ingredients, just tasteless like nothing. I can only confirm the 1-star ratings and must urgently warn against eating or buying this kebab! I am shocked that something like this can be sold in the EU.

Very unethical owner. I ordered a doner kebab which came to 30 kuna. I provided £20 and was told the exchange rate is £1 for 7 kuna, when the universally accepted rate is £1 for 7.5 kuna. I pointed this out and was told "sorry" with a shrug and given 110 kuna back. Being dishonest and unethical is never acceptable.

Went twice within 12 hours. Fantastic kebab and döners… only in town short time or we would return again. Excellent service and great price. When we went, cash only(kuna) so come prepared, it’s well worth it!

Have yet to find a better Kebab anywhere. Just had to have it multiple times when visiting Split and where so glad we found it. The bread Kebab was the Special kind that makes you miss the city just because of how good it was.

Waited in queue more than half an hour to get my kebab - it cost 25Kn which was fairly priced but it was only half decent quality.

Located near the center of Split, in a small street called "Na Tupini", kebab shop does not have perfect health or clean conditions but it is good enough to pass. On the other side the food is absolutely fantastic for a reasonable price. Staff are well trained and there are a lot of condiments. Would come back here.

Dude was very unhappy with everything. Evevy question i made seemed bothering him. I think he was drunk from the night before. Supposed to be open by 10:00 but it was 12:30 still waiting him to prepare his stuff.. food wasn’t good and he tried to pump the price from 27€ to 35€ at least he tried

Horrible horrible place. We were waiting in line for 30 minutes and they just let their many many drunk friends shove (literally shove!) Everyone in line away and serve them first, and they get chicken and when we finally get to the line they say chicken is finished! Ridiculous! The food was barely even decent, missing all the ingredients. Save yourself trouble and go somewhere where you actually get some respect as a customer. I hope owners know about this.

Great late night snack of kebab! Our favorite go to fast food of Europe and Kebab House didn’t disappoint. Went late on a Tuesday night, even though the rest of the neighborhood seemed closed for the night, they were cranking out delicious kebab!

Overall at the bottom of the list for Kebab. I have had Kabab nearly every week while traveling and it doesn’t come close to anywhere else. Fairly bland meat, and skinny servings of toppings along with a tortilla that felt undercooked.

Delicious! Fresh and affordable. Staff was friendly and I was greeted with a smile. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend Kebab House if you are in the area. Update from 2022: Still amazing. Still affordable. My go-to whenever I feel like something tasty.

If you getting tired getting expensive seafood at Croatia this Doner shop in split is for the rescue. They are open until very late at night serving delicious but cheap doner kebabs. We take a durum and a doner box and a coke which only cost us 10 euros. The taste was very good and the stuffs are also very nice. Highly recommended

Best value kebab in town! The kebab is good, a bit shy of great, the portion size is great, and the value for money is amazing. The staff is always kind and helpful. Notes: only cash, there is a table to sit inside (but space is very limited), go for tortilla instead of a bun, they are way better here. Overall very recommended.

The term heavenly is often thrown about from time to time. But when I eventually perish and go up to heaven I imagine being in the kebab house it’s simply sensational. The kebab house operates at all hours and will sort you out with a kebab. This kebab is just so sensational id have it sober. I cannot stress enough how absolutely beautiful the kebab house is so if you are in the area it would genuinely be so rude not to indulge yourself a kebab here. It truely is a taste you will savour for the rest of your days

Had stomach issues after the kebab (not even sure i can call it that), always smelled weird but one day i decided to give them a shot but dissapointed. Workers looked ungrateful and bored, and i saw at least 10 different workers in 4 months.

Best gyro in town! Went and saw my homie Besar two nights in a row for some tasty treats. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Walked by and turned around because it smelled so good! Friendly service and a HUGE portion for the price. We paid about €4 for 1 chicken kebab - my husband and I couldn’t even finish it. And the first place we found sriracha in Europe - win!! We tried to go back before we left but they were closed due to the rain :(

Kebabs are good, but service was rude and terrible. The place is full of trash and smells not good. Price rises during the night. You can get kebab here, but this should be your last choice..
