Haven’t had Mexican food in a while so we came here. The Nachos Supreme was our favorite! Highly recommend! The other Mexican dishes were subpar and didn’t have much flavor. We were a little disappointed that the sangria was from a bottle, not homemade. The service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. If you like spicy things ask for the hot sauce, the yellow one was VERY spicy.

Very cute, family-owned restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food, I ordered self-made spinach pasta with shrimps, just so delicious. Unfortunately it was my last day in Split. Otherwise I would have come back for sure!

Disappointed. We went here after reading to good reviews. When we entered, we were the only guests there. That’s not a problem though. However after ordering our dishes, we heard microwave sounds. The meat with gnocchi looked promising and was an incredibly generous portion. But soon we realised it was definitely heated up in the microwave. The middle of the plate was - literally - steaming hot, and the corners were cold. The gnocchi texture inside was sand-like. Very different from what I remember from fresh ones. Meat sauce was quite sweet and had a bitter after taste. The quesadilla was quite bland in taste. The chicken cubes were tough and dry. The salad and dips that came with the quesadilla were nice though. Prices of the drinks were high for the location. €5 for 0,5L beer, €3,50 for 0,25L Coca Cola. In my opinion, asking €14 for the meat stew is quite high considering it’s heated up in a microwave and the gnocchi was not tasty. Interior is quite nice. Service is sweet. But the food was disappointing. We were scared we could have gotten food poisoning, but luckely we didn’t.

Lovely lil local place. Mainly Mexican food but dishes of the day were Croatian so I opted for the traditional gnocchi and meat stew. Reasonable priced. Service soooo friendly. Would 100% recommend.

We had the enchiladas, the burrito, a salad and one of the daily specials that was a handmade spinach pasta with shrimp. Every dish was perfect. The flavors were so amazing and the service was great. Our waitress was so sweet she spoke both English and German!.The local white wine was delicious too! We sat inside and the interior beautiful. We have been in Croatia for about 10 days and this one of the best meals.

If you care about local, quality, fresh, flavorful food, don’t go here. I ordered the seafood linguine since all the Google reviews said it was one of the best they had. It took them 30 min to get it to me and then it was so flavorless that I had to add salt, pepper, and olive oil. Not to mention a few of the clams/mussels still had sand in them so I had to bite carefully. Overpriced for bland, low quality food. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a local dish.

The food is amazing and so are the employees. Our waitress was very kind and spoke english. We ordered seafood pasta and some shrimp spinach pasta. Seafood was amazing and fresh. Deffinitely recommend! The prices are a bit high (110HKN for a meal) but it’s understandable since it’s close to Bačvice beach. I’ll be happy to come back :)

The restaurant is amazing! Food is very delicious. Seafood is fresh. It's worth to taste! Workers are really great and with a good sense of humor. At the end they offered us local free shots.

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Split. Our apartment was located right next to it and I ate there quite often - the nachos and burritos were amazing. Service was also pretty good!

Lovely restaurant with a lot of veggie and vegan options. The breakfast menu looked amazing, but we had lunch. The meatballs were delicious, and the seitan stake was ok. Very filling! I recommend this place if you’re in the area, lots of good options on the menu!

Beautiful food!!!! A must try when visiting split but remember to book a table because they don’t usually have space. We got the fish platter for 2 to share which I highly recommend. Even though it’s slightly more expensive it was honestly worth it. It was MASSIVE and incredible. We also got the cheese platter to start- also amazing and the homemade Croatian spinach pasta with shrimps- also recommend. Both service and food was beautiful!

The idea of this restaurant is nice: cosy, cute location - close to the center. The food is mid. Buddha bowl dressing is not enough, food is quite plain. The sea food pasta was a very big disappointment. We had to remove all of the shells and ate a cold pasta. The work for this wasn’t included in the 22€. Sad.

A restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food is well prepared and delicious! The waiter was very nice and paid attention to every detail during the dinner. The price was ok. We had a good time, I highly recommend the place!

Luscious food and excellent dessert!!! We came here today for supper and it was worth it. You can also expect good recommendations when it comes to menu, staff know it very well. On the top of everything, manager’s approach was just exceptional.

Finally a bistro in Split that is not a money grab and a tourist trap. The service is really professional and kind. Not too pushy, good sense of humour and really attentive. I was here only once so i ordered a seafood linguini and it was delicious. There was so much pasta I couldn't eat everything so the portion was a bit too big for me but I can't count that as a negative. The seafood tasted good. It's not like in fancy restaurants but for the price, more than good. Finally, the house wine, Malvasia, is magnificent. It's not Dalmatian wine but Istrian and I don't consider that as a negative since Malvazija is extremely popular now in whole Croatia. They also have Mexican and vegan food, if that's your thing. Bistro is really close to the ferry so that's a good thing. All in all, one of the better bistros in Split.

I stumbled upon Bristo Toc by chance, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The inviting prices initially caught our attention, and the owner's warm and attentive approach made us eager to give it a try. He patiently guided us through the menu, even letting us sample a couple of wines to ensure we made the right choice. The food surpassed our expectations – my seafood linguini pasta was simply incredible, while my girlfriend's tuna steak melted like butter. Throughout the meal, the staff and owner consistently checked on us, ensuring our satisfaction. The owner's playful nature led us to try different types of grappa, a traditional grape liquor, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On our final day in Split, we returned to Bristo Toc for another exceptional meal. This restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way, offering excellent service and delectable cuisine. I highly recommend Bristo Toc to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience, and it's worth noting that this restaurant is also very black friendly.

Best nachos ever!!! And the rest of our food was delicious! Fish, steak and see food everything was perfect!

Great value Mexican food. Service was lovely. Good portions. Fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere with chilled music playing. Gutted we only found this restaurant on the last night. Much better value than restaurants in the Palace walls.

Really lovely food, we went for the day menu rather than the Mexican food but ut was really lovely and the staff were really nice! Nice seating outside with fans to keep the heat at bay!

Such a hidden gem, this place! It was quiet, but maybe that was only because we didn't go during peak season. Food was amazing! They even had a range of spicy sauces which we really enjoyed.

The Black Gnocci with monkfish and mussels was to die for, highly recommend. Very friendly service. Definitely returning to try the rest of the menu!
