If you are in vacation around Split is totally worth to take a taxi and to eat at this restaurant. Destination regional restaurant with local food. Fresh products, fish and ingredients that chefs really know to respect the quality of the food and cook it properly. That seafood soup was divine! Kitchen is all inox and very clean (see through glass to the tables) Good service!

This restaurant was recommended by my host as one of the best restaurant in the area however somehow I was disappointed. Food was OK even thought for the price I expected larger portion. Staff seem they don't have passion to work as they don't engage with customers and service was very slow.

The steak was chewy and overcooked. I called prior to my arrival and asked if they have space for 2 which they confirmed. Upon our arrival we were told that everything is reserved and that we have to leave in 1h. I was starving so I stayed. The dark haired waitress was nice and professional. I felt unwelcome my whole stay except for her. I will not go there again.

I am giving 4 stars only for the taste of the food but i would give only 2 for the staff. We came without a reservation and we found it fair to put us in a table located inside however, few other customers also didn’t have a reservation but they were given a table in the terrace which didn’t seem nice. The waiter gave us two different glasses for wine which one of them was for water. They poured our water in whiskey glasses which was funny but we didn’t complain too much. The food is absolutely delicious the place is also good, well designed and looks cosy. I will only recommend it for the taste of the fishes there

We had dinner there and it was very nice and pleasant. Waiters are attentive, the food is delicious. Personal advise: reserve table :)

1st October 2023 - we came here for dinner whilst staying in Split. This restaurant had such a fantastic vibe with live music whilst we ate the amazing local cuisine. Friendly staff and a decent size to cater for many people.

I have been coming to the restaurant Epetium with my family for many years and they have never disappoint. Daily Fresh fish, excellent soup and risotto’s, and of course great wine too. Always happy staff, especially the mastermind Luka. Thank you

Good food, great location. The service was good but a little slow for the number of customers in the restaurant. Would go back, but also a bit pricey.

After looking around for a restaurant for our last night in Croatia we picked this restaurant We picked right Just amazing service was amazing Food was out standing Fresh ingredients etc There was a bigger group at the restaurant which had live music which added to the atmosphere In the restaurant to our benefit We enjoyed this We had the tuna tartar it was out standing Pasta with seafood and truffle so yummy Steak with mushroom good as well Cappuccino and dessert was amazing as well 10 out of 10

The food is ok but the price is a lot too high for what you get and the portion of food is very small and the service of serving was horrible we waited a lot for the food and the drinks. And a person was smoking inside of the restaurant and we ordered a glass of wine at the beginning and it was brought to the table when we almost finished the food.

Very mediocre fish or dessert. White fish filet drowning in grease.. chocolate lava cake - made in advance, heated in microwave and simply filled with chocolate toping. Lovely staff though..

A little disappointing, view was lovely, but it was the harbour, not the ocean. And the smoke from the restaurant below blew in when the wind blew that way, and if you want a quiet spot, it's not that quiet as it is above a restaurant. You have to go into the restaurant to get your key. I never saw anyone at check-in pr check out, so i could not tell anyone that the shower head is broken and not to make up our room. No safe in our room, and we double locked our door to find someone who gave us new towels that we didn't need or could request not to have the sheet that was over the bed re folded. The parking took us 20 mins to find as it's far away with a boom gate. Positives.. comfortable bed, great location to restaurants, and a rock beach.

Bit on the pricy side, but me and my friends were all happy with the food in the end. I had the monkfish with risotto as a side, and my friends got the spaghetti with lobster and they were all excellent

The food is poor quality. Shrimp soup had clumps of thickener in it and it didn't taste good. Shrimp cocktail was not a proper cocktail and the salad was soaked in a dressing from a grocery store. The truffle sauce with beef was watery and not really tasty. The mixed salad had A LOT of vinegar or something which made it unedible. We were a party of 8 adults and none of us really enjoyed this place. At least the beef was of good quality and it was cooked medium as ordered.

Very delicious sea foods, fresh materials and well cooked. Professional and warm services. I cannot help to go there for dinners two nights in a row.

Excellent restaurant. As others have mentioned really, excellent menu, food, service. Friendly waitress, also had a very relaxed casual manner which we really liked. Offered to help us with the menu when we obviously looked like we didn't know what to choose..! There appeared to be a birthday group or something and they had live music so we were treated to traditional Croatian music which was great. Also, we went on Easter Sunday and it was actually quite difficult to park in town without having a long walk or parking in residential areas. But Epetium have their own parking (about 4 spaces) and we managed to park here. It's basically quite close to the entrance of the turning on the left. And there is also a small sign saying Epetium parking. At the end of the evening, we pulled out and continued around the residential street but it was pretty narrow with other cars parked on the side. So if it's quiet enough, I'd recommend reversing out at the beginning of the turning where the parking is located if possible. The entrance of the restaurant is about 20m further up the road on the left, down some steps, as someone else mentioned, it looks a bit 'unassuming' on a residential street but don't be put off by the door...!

Black Cuttlefish Risotto and Ston Oysters. Went to a popular local haunt and was turned away because I have no reservations, a friendly local suggested this restaurant which was down the road that is much bigger and usually does not require advance booking due to their space. Second try at the Ston Oysters in Croatia and while its not repulsive, the small size leaves me unfulfilled and reminds me of France’s Fin De Clair but with just a bit more brininess. Croatia is also known for their Black Cuttlefish Risotto and this is really shiok. The moist risotto was so flavourful and the cuttlefish were really easy to chew off.

Delicious food and very good ambiance. We had spaghetti seafood, black risotto, Talianet seafood, cheese and tiramisu.

We tried this restaurant based on the high reviews and were very disappointed. The food was very overpriced and our fish was not fresh. Konoba Nikola is a far better restaurant and worth the money.
