These realistic cake sculptures were DELICIOUS. Note: not gluten free! ;) If you're looking for a tasty dessert, then head here. Unfortunately I wasn't able to taste all of the delicacies because I was ARRESTED on some nonsensical charges like "consumption of historical artifacts". The only thing that was HISTORY here is my HUNGER!

If you're visiting Mestrovic gallery you should also pay this chapel a visit! It's one of the artist's favourite places where he would explore the religious motifs that are so well represented through some 20+ sculptures culminating with the crucified Jesus. Also the view on the beaches beneath and on the islands floating above Adriatic Sea is very nice.

It is a very picturesque place with a rectangular courtyard that overlooks the sea and a lovely chapel with wooden sculptures plus an olive orchard. You can go there if you have a ticket to Mestrovič Gallery.

Beautiful Mestrovic gallery designed in Roman house style with some of his own woodcarving. Mass every Sunday in the chapel. Good sea views

Besides its historical and cultural values it is very attractive place, historically and also acoustically. Very suitable for concerts which is used on regular basis during traditional Split Summer Festivals performances. Unfortunately it is not so friendly place for handicap people and people with disabilities. No wheelchair ramps or any assistance. Surrounding garden is visibly neglected not only because of summer drought but there is no so needed human touch that this place absolutely deserve. Additional problem makes you little bit uncomfortable is the fact that there is no light or any sort of illumination to get out of the place in the night after concerts. No doubt, it is absolutely worth of any effort to experience this unique space.

Love it. I watched a theatre performance there. Type Mestroviceve crikvine - Kastilac (add Split if necessary) for photos. If you ask locals, ask for KAŠTELET.

Beautiful mansion with a small, but really interesting gallery. The gallery ticket includes a visit in another building nearby: a house with atrium (and stage for music performances), a small church and an olive garden with beautiful views.

Mostly closed for the public, but open during certain concerts and theatre performances. Beautiful example of old architecture surrounded by a beautiful olive garden and tall oleander bushes.

Lovely! Worth the extra 5 minute walk along the coast from the centra gallery. Houses an important collection of Mestrovic’s wood carvings made at different periods throughout his life, ultimately culminating in an entire series of religious images. Views are also very nice!

A nice little addition to the Mestrovic Gallery, included in the ticket price, but there’s not much to see here. Don’t expect too much of it, but it’s very close to the gallery so I would say it’s worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) It is very beautiful, romantic, antique and provides a special atmosphere for small pleasant cultural events. 5 only lacks a better parking lot and a signpost for those outside Split. (Original) Vrlo je lijepo, romanticno, antikno i pruza poseban ugodjaj kod malih ugodnih kulturnih zbivanja.Sve. 5 samo nedostaje bolje parkiraliste i putokaz za one izvanSplita.

Very cute little church with wood paneling carved by renowned sculpter Ivan Mestrovic. Short walk down from the Mestrovic gallery. Nice views out over the Sea as well.
