The location of the beach is pretty good. A good 30 minute walk from the old town. This is a pebble beach with clear and deep water which is great for a refreshing swim. Unfortunately there is a lot of development happening in 2023. On the plus; There is a Tommy supermarket for snacks and drinks nearby. There isn't much shade apart from a few trees and the beach is getting very busy in the afternoon.

Super beach. Town of Split deserves beach like this. It is wide and easy to enjoy. Trees need to grow little bit more to provide a better shade but they are fine already. Sand is perfect, not to big pebbles not too small. Entrance to the water is perfect angle. There is a life guard service, if someone even needs that.. Free parking is major plus in my book. Parking is 15 to 30 meters from the beach and it has a lot of parking spaces available. There are number of beach bars in near proximity of sea (like 10 meters, so you can hear the music while getting tan). Free fresh water showers... I give this beach 11 out of 10!

Nice beach. Beautiful clear water with lots of fish. Great for snorkeling. It is not a big beach and it is rocky as is usual in this area. But it is a great place to swim.

Extremely nice and lovely pebble beach in Croatia and so close to Split city. I loved it has free parking right near the beach, the showers are free too so that is a plus. There are places to change your clothes and toilets -where you need to pay a few kunas. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants amid you are hungry or need a drink. Come early if you need shadows for the trees since they get occupied very quickly. There are benches to sit on - again, if you are there early as it can get very busy. I would recommend visiting this beach if you are in Split.

Dear Croatia, You have been around for some time but you act so young. Your beaches attract thousands and yet there are no shops, bars, or restaurants adorning your otherwise very sparse and rocky beaches. You are blessed with beautiful and bountiful seafood and yet you cover it with potato and pea purée and think that makes it good and you, fancy…Croatia, we need to talk. Sincerely, SC

Very nice pebble beach with car-free path, a few cafe and children‘s playground. Close by is a big parking lot. Water is very clear and warm in October.

Best beach in Split (we went also on Kasjuni and Ovcice). Surprised to see reviews mentioning it is dirty. We stayed near Bar Skaut and the beach and water was crystal clear with no garbage etc. The beach has all the necessary facilities (showers, toilets, sunbeds with umbrella - 120 hrk for the day, bars and cafes, also a part which is wheelchair accessible). It was also not too crowded.

Clean beach, no people at all. But sometimes not enough places to lie. For more information about travel check my Instagram @olgafoodblogger

One of the best beaches if not the best I visited in Europe. Cozy, clean and great service with cold beer. Wear rock shoes though and bring sunglasses as it was so bright Because of the beautiful with pebbles reflecting the sun.

This beach is quite clean. And the water is great for a swim. Also there is a supermarket called Tommy cross the beach road, go there and buy what you want to drink amd eat at once. Its cost effective and great. I took a rented bike from the city center. The bike ride along the coast line is one of the most beautiful experiences I have had.

Lovely relaxing beach. It was a little busy when I visited but my family and I found some space behind one of the local bars. Nice place to catch a tan and was across the road from our hotel.

Once you get past the works going on it’s a Lovely beach close to shop for water top ups and packed lunch. Could spend all day here. If you want adults only go early. Children usually turn up after 5pm.

City Beach Znjan has free parking and clear water. But avoid this place unless you are a local. They have the rudest people there that made us feel unwelcome. Most people in Croatia have been kind to us on our first visit here. I guess all the rude people live near this beach and hang out here.

Loved this beach! Small pebbles made it easier to get into the water as opposed to larger slippy rocks found at a few other locations, although swimming shoes are a must, the same as in all the beaches in Split. There was a wide variety of fish in the shallow areas that caught my attention! Free parking, lots of restaurants and cafe bars. It is a big beach, so there is plenty of space to fit everyone.

You have all you need on this beach. Free shower, toilet, dressing room and locker for valuables. Couple of restaurant bars just there, with nice music, free wifi and sun beds with umbrellas and towels. You can also rent pedal boats.

Really nice vast pebble beach, Perhaps go with swimming footwear. Could easily see fish in the clear water. lots of parking space. And of course busy. It’s family friendly with showers, changing booth and toilets. You can bring baby pushchair.

This beach is ok but I would totally avoid it until the construction work is done! There’s no beach clubs there at the minute which we didn’t realise until we got there, it was a bit of a let down

Nice pebbly beaches with clean water, free changing rooms and showers and quite a lot of bars to get something to drink/eat and/or rent a sunbed if you want some shade. They have music playing all day long and it's kind of hard to get away from it, so if you don't like that, be aware. There's a Tommy supermarket really close if you need to buy anything. Gets pretty crowded in high season, but which beach doesn't really? Lots of families. Very beautiful sunsets.

I visited Znjan beach in late September,so it was more quiet then in Summer days. Its a pebble beach, water is mostly calm and has easy acess in water. It was quite windy and sea its not so warm anymore. There is alot of bars, playgrounds and walking paths. I enyojed riding a bike from the Znjan beach all the way to Old town of Split. U have big parking space along the beach side and also toilets. Many restaurants and Tommy market across the street from the beach.

Great beach for sunbathing. Clean water, great for swimming in. Very salty, lots of little fish can be seen. All of the beaches in the area are artificial but well worth visiting ☀️🏖

Weird beach. For some reason I felt rare. It's not that comfy and the water is salty as usual. You can get spots to lay down (not many shadows available) even in high season. I would recommend bringing water shoes. 🌟 Pro tip: If you're thinking of travelling to Split and swimming, I would recommend going to the islands. The water is cleaner, and the vibes are different.

👍 Beautiful place, but too difficult to find a place for a car. 2 Chaises longue plus umbrella- 70 € take something thicker as a sunbed, because there are a lot of large stones on the beach Water was really clean and clear, but cold (we were there on the beginning of July)

👍👍 This was a great place for a photshop. The water is clear and clean. The old canons and ruins make it a historic site, and you are surrounded by so much green that you can surely take in all the nature. This is not, however, such a great place to swim, if you can't deal with rocks. Depending on wher...
