Part of the Diocletian Aqueduct. It was constructed between the end of 3rd and beginning of the 4th century AD at the same time as the Palace. It's not working anymore. Just for history lovers.

Nice view but it would be better to have an observation desk.

It's a nice aqua duct but nothing like the real ones, say Pont Du Gard. In fact it's a reconstruction of the original Roman one. But the hike is still worth it.

Surprisingly it is not advertised but very nice to see this ancient piece of architecture. You can only go up to a certain distance on the sides.

Really interesting! Very impressive if you know what it is, I came upon it by chance watching a video about how the romans build their aqueducts and a comment from someone from Split was there praising how well this one was conserved.

Very good pictures from 1 area only. You can climb on top and walk around it for a short way.

My first Roman aquaduct. So I was happy to see it but it's not been loved for a long time and definitely is no longer carrying water.

This was cool to see and we asked a local man if we could park up the hill in his driveway. He was very kind but there was no need to go up the hill and bother him! We could see from the road before climbing the hill.

Amazing to realize it was built around 300 ad, it is so much bigger than I expected.

Unfortunately a forgotten piece of important history. Not maintained at all.
