Church of St. Nicholas

Tourist attraction Catholic church

👍 A small (catholic I believe) church located on the walking trails within Park Suma Marjan - a short uphill walk from the Marjan belvedere viewpoint. There's not much to see but it does have a water fountain where you can top up your water bottle before venturing further into the park. People often mention church, water, walk, Marjan,

Gorgeous hidden gem to be found in Marjan Park. Fill your water bottle up for free from the cool water fountain next to the church.

Beautiful little church with bell and fresh water fountain. It's just over half way up the hill, worth seeing if you are doing this walk anyway. No way to see inside but the walk up is pleasant anyway

Cute traditional little church. You can't get in but it makes a good backdrop for a Croatian photo

Marjan hill is a silent place to take a long walk (and meet very few people) and rest from crowded Split old city center. Path is not difficult, so you can walk even with small children. It's not the most popular place to visit in Split, but it's worth to climb up and see old city from hill.

Small church nothing major to see. Fascinating that the church was built in the 13th century.

Lovely lil church along the way to top of Marjan next to the ol Jewish cemetery. Pity it seems to be always locked close. There’s a fresh water tap near it to top up. There is a tap at the top of Marjan too.

Quaint, small church located in the Marjian Park, not too far from the Belvedere vista point. The interior is extremely simple as could be surmised from viewing the exterior. There is a water fountain near the church where you can fill your bottle. Decent views of the surrounding area from the plaza in front of the church.

Worth to visit mostly for the view, the church itself is not much interesting

Cute, small church located in the Marjian Park, not too far from the Belvedere Vista Point. Closed when I was there. There is a water fountain near the church where you can fill your bottle.

Worth the walk to this little chapel built in the 11th Century AD. Very peaceful...the door was locked but you look inside.

Cool place to see on the walk inside the Marjan park. Building was locked when we passed, but still a neat place to see.
