We were lucky to pass by the restaurant while a wonderful pianist was playing. We were so moved that we had to stop there for a drink to continue listening. We were served by Anthony that was the loveliest waiter we had so far. This made our night :)

The AC in our room did not work. We were led to believe it was just our room. However, we learned that it was the entire floor (4-5 rooms). We had to pay our entire bill upon checking in which seemed odd but now it's clear that they had a big issue and knew we'd protest at check out. Initially they offered us a free drink or dinner. We were in town for a wedding and food etc. was covered by the wedding activities. It was so hot that we had a hard time cooling down after being out for the day. We did get a fan which helped and also covered the noise from the piano bar below us and the walkway noise from tourists enjoying the area. At check out we asked for a credit on one night (5 night stay total) and were told they couldn't do that. Ultimately they offered a credit but only if we gave a bank account number to send the funds instead of crediting our card. Very nice city and the hotel is well situated. It was clean and tidy but the staff on site has no management to help trouble shoot.

Pampering staff welcoming you at the heart of Split old town! It’s in the middle of the old town, surrounded by various restaurants, bars and cafes. We stayed on the first floor and IF the window is open, there comes noise from the people passing by but for us it wasn’t at a disturbing level. When the window is closed there is no problem. The breakfast was good with various options both for vegans and mainstream foodies. Air conditioner was good and working properly. The bed was not as I would like; a bit bouncy and soft for my taste. But it was clean and fresh. The room was comfortable, having enough space for everything. Everything was as described in the hotel page. For us the highlight of the stay was the two different receptionists. One of them was helping us to get medical assistance with her very accurate and relevant advice. She and the public hospital staff saved our vacation. The other receptionist gave us the very much needed mosquito repellent and saved our night sleep. If you want to stay in the heart of Split old town and feel welcomed while not paying a fortune, this hotel is the best option for you!

Rooms are just average, small, nothing special. What makes less stars is that they tried to sell me parking space for 35 Eur from 21:30 'till morning, while there is public garage 200m away selling parking space for 2Eur per hour. This is a way not to get returning customer.

Easy to find once you find the street because of the red color. It’s a nice hotel with nice staff. You can hear the sounds of foot traffic but not so that it interrupts your nap. The breakfast is fine with all the usual including a custom omelet station. This place is a bit pricy but it is all about location.

Sweet boutique hotel in the center of history. There’s no direct drive-up service but the walk in host is great.

Great location! Now, the hotel: rooms dark. Great if you plan on being drunk the entire time with hangovers. Aircon LOUD. Food, over priced and definitely a rip off compared to other places we ate at. Concierge, what concierge. Ask about hair salons, and one of them said "I get my hair done by my friend's salon, so I don't know any around here". Well, that was helpful. Ask about getting a private boat to take us around, well, they said we have a company we get a referral fee from you can book yourself, here is the QR code. Wow. Ask about restaurants, the answer was " they are all good, just walk around". Ask how to buy tickets to one of the islands "you walk and see where all the boats are". Really helpful. As it is a bit more complicated as there are several ferry companies and each have their own outlet all over the bloody place. And different piers! As I said, hotel location isn the old city and that's like a modern day shopping mall. Would I return ? So many other choices, cities, islands, hard to come back to this. Ps. Restaurant staff, did their job and were pleasant once they knew you were a hotel guest.

Just popped in here for a iced coffee and cake, and boy was I glad I did, the coffee and chocolate cake was so good perfect for a moment to just take a little break from my busy day. I can't review the room as I didn't stay here but next time for sure. I recommend this place for a pit stop 😊

Really great location in the heart of Split, just steps from all the attractions. I loved the quirky decor, which fuses modern design with the building’s original features. The spa terrace looks lovely and I wish I’d arranged a massage in advance! You can also book the rooftop jacuzzi, which has beautiful views of the city. The library/ lounge area is a treat, too, if you feel like relaxing and escaping the bustle of the city. Or just sit in the cafe, listen to live piano music, and watch the world go by.

Hotel Marmont made a self contained apartment available to us due to maintenance issues in the hotel room which was to be ours. To make up for the problem they offered us a free dinner in their restaurant as well as complimentary bottle of red wine. We loved the apartment which was located in the heart of the old city and was beautifully appointed with modern amenities. The concierge on duty - Gragana - was very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in this enchanting old town.

While visiting Split Croatia from Canada this June we dined at the Marshal restaurant in the Marmont Heritage Hotel. Great food, excellent service. Location was excellent, right in the heart of the town. The staff Joyce and Lea, very professional, courteous and very tentative to our every need. Five star rating !!!!!

Every time I visit Split, I relax and enjoy delicacies at my favourite place - the Marshal restaurant caffe bar in the Marmont Hotel. What do I like about it? It is situated right in the heart of the town offering elegant and cosy interior inviting you to relax and enjoy. Tasty food and snacks, very professional staff that goes an extra mile to meet your needs. I always feel welcomed and appreciated. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice place whenever it's not crowded and there's the convenient number of stuff ! We came 2 days earlier and the guy refused to give a friend an orange juice with his breakfast he said they don't make it for now, even though it comes with the menu and even though they have it and they serve for other people we saw it on other tables. He brought himan apple juice that he don't drink anyway! However I came back today and the service was on top! Not necessarily a bad place but they should work on the service a bit more :) The jam is home made and very delicious 😋 Filter coffee too..

Comfortable room and great location. Breakfast was ok. Staff were almost not visible but at the same time we had no cause to seek anything from them.

I did not stay in the hotel but I have been for a coffee a few times in the downstairs area. It's nice, clean and comfy and, importantly for when it's hot outside, has air conditioning. The one thing I thought was a little weird is the set of busts for people who have shaped the world, which includes dictators Pol Pot and Josef Stalin alongside Gandhi and Mother Theresa. It's thought provoking I guess.

😠 DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
