If you have any sense of smell then I strongly suggest that you avoid this place. I had already paid for 2 nights but we just couldn't sit in a snink of cigarettes and stale water, it was making us feel ill. We had to really push for another room which was better but when we were hit by the fresh air of the road outside as we popped out we realised that whist it was less bad neither of us was comfortable with the thought of sleeping there. I don't think the management understand, they thought Fabreeze spray would sort it and we weren't even refunded for our breakfast. It's a good location.

It is great place with history of many many years working with great servise...alwayst so beautiful...and clean toooo... If you have time to stay in Split you will be so good suprise with this great hotel.

I can't speak for the hotel itself seeing as I've never stayed there, but I have, on many occasions, been to their cafe. The location is as central as it gets. It has an antique vibe, a large selection of drinks and a digital lock protected bathroom. The code to the lock is available to guests exclusively and can be found on the bill. The only downside are the prices which are steeper than normal, but this is also to be expected seeing as it's located on Riva.

I arrived injured & on crutches. Front desk receptionist welcomed me with a smile. A very tall man with with white hair (Mr E) brought me, a much needed ice pack for my knee without me even asking. The room was clean, had an aircon unit and had a great view of the square. Located in the heart of Split you can people watch to you'd hearts content. Breakfast starts at 6am.Bonus! Brilliant for German's too.

We did not stay there but only had coffee which is one of the best I've had in town. Great location with a view of the harbor and street scene, plus lots of charm inside.

Good location, lovely sea front. The staff are friendly. The shop is slightly overpriced but they had the essentials. It's close to Trogir and not too far from Split either. The Medina hotel beach is a close walk and there are quite a few restaurants on that strip too.

The best thing about this hotel is a location. It is in the very center of the City of Split & has an excellent view at the sea and Splitska Riva. The staff is very hospitable and is ready to help you. Downside is, however, that hotel itself has an 1980's touch so it needs some kind of renovation.

Good place price wise with excellent breakfast, airco in the room too loud
