This hotel may be in the running for the worst hotel I've ever been to... Good - The rooms were clean, have A/C and local TV. Nice view over the sea if you're lucky and get that side of the hotel. Bad - This hotel is essentially in the middle of nowhere. Buses run infrequently, to some unknown timetable, and sometimes just don't appear. There are literally no services available in the hotel. No water, no food, no drinks. There is one small convenience store about 5 minutes walk, and 2 pretty ordinary cafes (though I think one was permanently closed). Rooms have the most basic amenities. The hotel is like something from The Shining. The breakfast is laughable. 2 stars would be generous for this place. Even if the cost seems good, it's not worth it. You've been warned.

Although it looks like old and abandoned, I am pleasantly surprised. Hotel Zagreb has a long interesting history, huge potential, and it is a shame that today it has only 2🌠. Location is great, 5km from city center which you can reach in 10-15min by bus or a car(taxi). Beach, park with pine trees, small but comfortable and clean rooms, nice people. Everything you need to take a shower, get some sleep and the rest of the day enjoy in beautiful city.

We spent seven nights at the Hotel Zagreb. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the popular Znjan Beach and can be reached by bus. From the outside, the hotel made a bad impression, because the balconies and the walls showed large signs of wear. The reception area and the entrance hall are large and imposing. There is also a bar and a non-smoking area as well as the dining area in the basement. In the past, the hotel also had an area where you could celebrate weddings and an area where you could do sports (e.g. table tennis). These areas are cordoned off and have not been used for a long time. Unfortunately, the hallways and the rooms are also very worn. In the hallway on the way to the room you can see the age of the hotel: dirty carpets and walls. Our room was clean, but the balcony was already quite broken. The breakfast was absolutely identical every day and consisted of fried eggs, sausages, bread and a few types of fruit. Overall, we didn't feel comfortable in the hotel.

Very fair price, front desk staff was very friendly. The staff serving breakfast was pretty unmotivated and the buffet was lacking some diversity but all things considered it was decent. Not so great was that the entire hotel smells like an ashtray and that some parts look like they are in dire need of a makeover. I would also avoid the elevators at all cost those things were just scary to look and seemed like they could fall apart at any moment. The bus station is conveniently located directly next to the hotel, schedules are available at the reception. You really need to pay attention to how long you need from your stop to the stop you're getting off at because there are no schedules at most stops and you can only get the schedule by reverse-engineering the arrival time of the bus by looking at the time for the stop at the center (there are schedules there) or by looking at the schedule for the stop at the hotel.

This is not an ordinary hotel. There is something about it that makes you want to come back. Sometimes it seems to me that this hotel has a “soul”. The hotel is quite simple and ordinary.

Quick check in, friendly staff speaking perfect English also as the other languages.Generous hot and continental breakfast. Simple room wit the AC. Air conditioning worked well and without any noise. Calm, clean. Close to the beach. A bit far from the city centre, approx 30 min bus ride ,no 14 and 15.But coast only 11,kuna ( 1,60€approx.).

It looks like a huge hotel from old times. It is capable of hosting big groups of teams or something like that but it drops in quality. The staff tries it’s best to make the place look better but unfortunately it needs a lot of changing. The place that the hotel is, provides a lot of options for walking, running and enjoying the Dalmatian coast.

Good hotel regarding age and surrounding. Rooms and cleanliness is a +. Restaurant should have better food quality.

Disgrace. Reception man was arguing with us over another one giving us a different price. Service and rooms are not equal to the value. For the same price we stayed in Westin two days before and it was exquisite. Breakfast is literally hot dogs and eggs with very little variety, barely any choice for vegetarians, i had two slices of watermelon. Employees are chating at the entrance not even saying hello to people. Rooms are completely empty, no toiletries. Decor is as if the war has ended yesterday. Never again.

Very nice rooms, beautiful view. The breakfast was a bit disapointing. And the windows in the breakfast room needed cleaning

This place is about 12 minute drive outside of Split. It is a basic Hotel that fills basic needs. It is austere, but very clean, huge & we'll run. A really good night stay for the price you pay. And has more than ample parking and is close to my two favorite restaurants Stobrec. Epetium & Nikola. 2 must eat at places! No matter where you stay!

We didn’t find any available room in vicinity, but they had one, and it was much better then expected. Hotel has 2 stars but the room was updated, so it worth higher rating. Also breakfast had a variety selection. Clean, AC worked great, nice view and very friendly staff.

😠 DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
