This
place
bills
itself
as
the
oldest
hotel
in
Split.
Don't
worry
-
it
has
done
an
excellent
job
of
keeping
up-to-date
and
is
a
clean.
comfortable
and
classy
small
hotel.
Staff
are
truly
outstanding
and
went
above
and
beyond
in
helping
us
sort
transfers,
PCR
tests,
etc.
Rooms
appear
a
little
on
the
small
side
but
still
plenty
of
room
to
move
around
and,
being
an
old
building,
the
design
has
made
good
use
of
existing
features
and
layout.
I
particularly
liked
the
headboard
map
of
exactly
where
you
are
sleeping
on
top
of
the
Roman
ruins!
Location
is
perfect,
a
short
walk
from
where
a
taxi
will
drop
you
and
an
easy
walk
from
ferry
and
bus
station.
Around
50-100
metres
from
the
main
central
areas
and
historic
buildings,
you
are
just
far
enough
away
to
not
be
disturbed
by
the
noise.
Our
room
had
a
big
terrace
on
the
same
level
as
the
reception.
A
lovely
way
to
spend
a
few
hours
with
a
Kindle
and
a
bottle.
No
real
complaints
about
our
stay.
There
is
a
trade-off
in
coming
to
a
small
hotel
in
terms
of
pool/fitness
centre/whatever,
but
I
wouldn't
hesitate
to
stay
here
again.
The
restaurant
is
fine
but
not
great.
Breakfasts
are
good
and
we
had
a
pleasant
evening
meal
but
there
are
better
to
be
had
in
Split.
However,
nothing
to
prevent
a
five-star
review
here.
