I am currently staying at this hotel and am very shocked about the covid protocol in this hotel. No hand sanitizer at breakfast buffet, people walking around without masks on inside at breakfast. They are understaffed and have no time to clear and clean tables properly for people to sit down. I went to the coffee bar to ask for sanitizer and the dispensing unit there was empty. I had to go to reception to complain and they gave me a sanitising kit. I shouldn't have to do this and personally this is the most unsafe I have felt in a hotel my whole trip. The last hotel I was at made sure guests wore masks at breakfast buffets and before you even picked up a plate you had to use hand sanitizer before you touched anything. Simple protocols really need to be introduced especially in a 4 star hotel. Two staff managing tables at breakfast is not enough for a rather full hotel.

Top modern hotel, nice ambience and clean rooms next to the city beach. Unfortunately there were loud parties at the beach, so that you definitely need earplugs for the night. The breakfast is rich and you can decide between buffet and menu. Better not be in a rush, when you order something from the menu or at the bar.

We have casually come to this hotel to have breakfast; the best decision we could have ever make. Million thanks Mara and Paula for the service: your implication, help, professionalism and proximity are much appreciated. Undoubtedly we would repeat because the attention could have not been better.

I can't stress how amazing this hotel is. From the moment we stepped foot in, we knew this is the place we would like to stay. Contemporary modern architectural building and design, it's equipped with everything you may need. The room was spacious, amenities all available including a terrace, tub and shower, plenty of towels and complimentary water. Breakfast was on spot, fresh and anything was available upon asking for it. The staff here were amazing and super friendly and professional. At night, the bar and restaurant really had a wonderful vibe including top notch food that you'll just devour! Still not amazed? Well add a gym and roof top pool where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenary while tanning. What's even better, was the location! Acrosd the street is the famous beach for you to also enjoy and not even 10 minutes away walking from the old town and riva. Definitely a must stay-at hotel and will be visiting here again.

All in all very good. Sadly lacking in the details. Restaurant is subpart while the breakfast is good. Small things like shower hoses too short, water running from shower in toilet due to missing rubber below the deviding glass. White status indicator on AC lighting up the room at night as well as curtains not dark enough...

What a great hotel! Awesome staff, beautiful interiors, lots of designer lamps, chairs and art to discover, spacious rooms, great food and good coffee. The only very minor thing I missed was a mount to use the bathtub as a shower. Would love to visit again!

My wife and me, we started our vacation here! A beautiful hotel, thats for sure! Up front, our room, was a bit "used". You could see sign of usage on the walls or corners of the room, in the bathroom, around the "cosmetics' mirror" was a nice drawing. Also the pool could have been a bit cleaner. This is all a "management issue" from my point of view... But why did I give 5 stars.....? The Team did a terrific job, rarely seen so kind and caring people like in this hotel! Location, it top, if you wanna be a bit outside of the tourists, but still quite closed to old town of Spilt! Restaurant and Bar seemed to be visited by locals too. So please don't let my open and honest words from the beginning irritate you, it is an fantastic place to be in Spilt!

Hotel Briig is a beautifully appointed modern hotel on the outskirts of Split old city. The rooms are sleek and modern and the amenities, including the gym and pool, are a welcome luxury. The staff were amazing - very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. A lovely outdoor courtyard makes for a gorgeous setting listening to the sounds of the beach across the street and the summer sound of cicadas. The location is a little bit inconvenient if you don't relish a short walk into the city, but given how busy Split is in the height of the season, it was quite nice to be a little bit removed from the hectic town.

Hotel Briig is a beautiful hotel with even more beautiful personnel. People are friendly and helpful and you can feel good energy from the moment you walk in the hotel. Beds are extremely comfortable, it is like sleeping on the cloud. Breakfast is rich and delicious. It is 10 min on foot to the center. We will be back :)

This hotel was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly loved it. The staff could not have done more to make us feel special. The breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day. Note to vegans and diary free people: request some alternatives for breakfast and the kitchen will make you some wonderful alternatives to the breakfast desserts. I would stay here an again without thinking about it. We had the top floor room with terrace and the view looking over Split was exceptional. Thanks Briig for a great stay.

This hotel lobby and public areas look very modern and cool, but it’s just a facade. I think the whole hotel budget went towards the main floor so they had to skimp out on everything else. Everything else was mediocre at best. For example, the shower door was not properly sealed at the bottom so the whole bathroom floor literally flooded.. imagine having to step into a pool of water all night to use the toilet. I told them about the issue and was told they’d fix it, but they did not. So we spent the next few days showering sitting down so the water doesn’t touch the shower door… The room is super dark, even the coffee area. No lights in the shower area either so basically doing everything in the dark. The housekeeping is horrible! They didn’t change our bedsheets during our entire stay. I know this because there was the same stain on it the whole time. They basically just did the bare minimum to make the room look like it was cleaned. The rooftop pool and fitness room was small and a mess. The fitness room lights don’t even turn on so we worked out in the dark. No one cleaned up the rooftop pool area so all the lounge chairs were “used” and there were empty cups everywhere.

Stayed overnight on our way to Hercegovina. Great hotel beautifully designed by famous Croatian architect. Good comfortable rooms great price great location food head and shoulder above the offers in Split. With 15% off for guests during week. Great kitchen with local ingredients and very reasonable prices. Beautiful view and dining environment. Was in company with British Croatian and German and we all are united in giving this hotel 5 star rating on all levels. Briig (hill) is a good choice.

It’s a very modern and new hotel which we liked a lot however, we were woken up every evening between 3-4 am because it is near clubs. The window must be very thin and we didn’t have one good night of sleep. The staff is apologetic but that’s it. They need double window insulation to prevent this. Very disappointing.

Fantastic boutique hotel with modern design and mid century aesthetic. Great location in front of the beach, big comfy beds and a great breakfast make this a must visit location when visiting Split. Will definitely return.

Extremely nice employees. We went there at 5 am. We only wanted to spend there a couple hours before we travel further and they offered us a really nice room. Super clean and fancy for a good price Everything was perfect I would totally recommend it. Extra + for the rooftop swimming pool and saunas

Great place to stay while in town. The hotel has been maintained and feels brand news still. I stayed in room P 01 during my visit. The suit is perfect and exactly what you need to get work done while having great views of the city. The Internet has a solid connection. The terrace is large with seating and your own personal sauna. Your living room with a full sized couch is comfy. The bedroom and bathroom are a large size. You won't feel squeezed inside this suit. The bed is comfortable. Tons of windows and light in the whole space. The pool, gym and sauna are steps from your door. The elevator is never busy but you can take the stairs right outside your door.

Around 6:30 pm I sat with a friend to the outdoors bar. We sat there for 10-15 minutes and no waiter came. I went next to the glass and waived for the waiter to come, once he did, we received a very rude treatment by him immediately starting to make excuses and reasons why he did not come instead of just apologising and asking us what to drink. I did not want to tolerate such a rude behaviour from a hotel staff, so we of course left.

Probably among the best hotels in Split, both in terms of quality of service and the competence of staff.

Hotel wasnt massively large which is good as this meant it wasnt noisy and not as much people during breakfast. 1. staff at reception had a pretty strong accent so you'll have to pay extra attention to what they say. When we checked in, 1 member of staff was serving us but then a 2nd member of staff that was on the 2nd desk , started handing us the keys and asking for signatures which got me a little confused as there were no indications as to why I was suddenly being served by someone else. 2. Rooms were large and designs were nice. whole hotel felt very modern art gallery style. 3. Room had 1 bottle of water. this wasnt restocked during the stay. mini bar items are not free . 4. slippers were missing in the room but we called them and they brought us some. along with toothbrushes 5. they had ipads in the rooms (bot the best setup) where u can check hotel information and message reception (again, a few issues with the software) 6. Breakfast was nice. a wide assortment. around 6-9 hot dishes, bread, cereals, fish paste?, cakes, fruits, cold cut meats, anchovies, salads, juice, and yoghurts. The coffee machine was broke so you have to get it at the bar. Only downside were the fruits. Alot of them weren't that fresh and the grapes and oranges had a lot of seeds in them. No signage as to what half the dishes are either.

We had a wonderful stay. We had an issue with Booking in another hotel and we called the Briig hotel late at night asking for a room last minute. Valentino helped us with everything we needed, he was very attentive and kind. We will definitely come back. Great service!

The hotel is nice and modern the staff is very friendly. The hotel room air conditioning did not work. After we requested it serviced it still did not work hence the room was very hot. We requested a fan for the room and that helped. But when you’re spending the money on this hotel it should be up to expectations and the AC should work. In addition if you stay beach side of the hotel know that it’s very loud all night long and that the windows do not block out the screaming locals who party all night and sing in the streets. In addition we had to get up early for our next adventure and there was a large party on the patio with no regard to the guests. Lights music were blasting into our windows until midnight after which lighter music was played. The icing on the cake was going to take a shower before bed and there was no hot water just cold. So I would not recommend this place. Calling the front desk was useless.

Briig Boutique is an excellent 4-star hotel in Split. We reserved four rooms for a night, ahead of a charter sailing trip through the Dalmatian Islands and all of us (adults and teenagers) were very pleased with our spacious, airy and tastefully decorated rooms and common facilities. The Briig Team assisted us with restaurant reservations and transfer services, all of which were executed with grace and perfection of a very high-quality hotel. Importantly, Briig’s style is differentiated from all other hotels in Split. The exterior is modern while the interior is influenced by simple Scandinavian design elements. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the Old City and, fortunately, well away from the traffic routes used by tourists who swarm the Old City area everyday. In addition to the roof-top pool (a rarity in Split), there is an excellent public beach just outside the Briig’s front door. We will stay at Briig on our next visit to Split!

We had a lunch at this hotel. We were very disappointed. First we had to wait more than hour while the restaurant was almost empty. Second: food was so badly cooked and hard both duck and spaghetti. Third: service was also unsatisfying. Probably the hotel invested a lot in the design but not in the quality.

This hotel is stunning! The hotel staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. The room was spotlessly clean and parking underneath the hotel was a nice perk. The restaurant had phenomenal food too! Our room faced a small beach and the building is located just a few minutes walking from Split old town. I highly recommend choosing Briig when visiting Split!

😠 DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
