Super hotel, the reception crew is less service friendly than usual. The bathrooms are super, but the rest of the room is a bit small. Cleaning is superb and the hotel feels very classy. The pool is not that big, the fitness room is not that serious. But overall a very nice place.

Very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. We got a room with a balcony which was very spacious and shaded. Check-in was 3pm (we asked to check in earlier but was not possible) and check out was 11am. The buffet breakfast is nice and has lots of options of hot food - eggs, bacon, sausages, as well as salads, pastries, donuts and fruit. The rooftop pool is small but still a lot of room to do some laps and enjoy the stunning city views. Lots of sun beds and space on the roof. The drink prices in the hotel are also reasonable. We didnā€™t eat dinner here so canā€™t comment on that. Receptionists were also very helpful! Overall a nice place to stay and I would recommend!

Excellent people and excellent hotel. Very clean, amazing amenities, and they were very accommodating. We showed up before our check-in and they were nice enough to let us use the rooftop pool. Breakfast was also delicious - especially the melons!

Nice modern hotel within walking distance of the old town. Kristina was very helpful in organising a trip to Krka national park and telling us all about the best places to visit in Split. The triple room was airy and light with comfortable beds and a nice big bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Only two negatives; we were staying at the same time as a large group who took over the roof top pool area, though it has two levels the higher one is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and the lower one is small. After 11pm I could not get the receptionist to sell or give me any bottled water even though it was there in the fridge, as the 'computer was broken' had to walk out to a local bar and buy some! Otherwise very enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend.

Stayed at Art hotel for 2 weeks, staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. I can't say enough good things about the staff, exceptional. The only negative thing about staying here is the smoking in the pool area. I wish the hotel would become a leader in non- smoking policies

Great value and top notch customer service. Fitness and Wellness are atypical to a 3-star hotel, they have everything one needs. On-site parking is easy to access and plentiful. Breakfast is exceeds expectations.

Hotel Art has a very good location in Split and is very close to the center. The staff is also very professional and polite. The receptionist was very kind. The young man working at the bar was also very polite and helpful. His English is great, and he also speaks perfect Spanish. Very commendable, I hope that the hotel will continue to employ such smart and professional people who contribute to the reputation of the hotel.

The facilities ( aka rooftop pool, jacuzi, basement welness center)were half-functioning and not inviting (end of september). Rooms and their cleaning was satisfactory. Good breakfast for people with no dietary restrictions. The location of the hotel was borderline between center and local neighborhood

I do not recommend staying in this hotel. Indeed, although having booked on the hotel website and received confirmation for 2 non-successive nights, we received an e-mail announcing that the second night was canceled the day before our arrival because the hotel I don't accept American Express... I had received this confirmation and even told the receptionist that we would come back in 4 days. It then confirmed the reservation to me. Finding yourself in such a situation is very stressful because it is almost impossible to find a replacement hotel room in the middle of August a day in advance. After calling the hotel to report our problem, we were offered a new higher level room but at around 90 euros more. We were forced to accept in view of the situation but which I found totally unfair. I wanted to talk to the sales manager of this supposedly 4-star hotel to express my dissatisfaction. Ultimately, the worst part of our experience was the way the direction of the hotel treated us. Avoiding meeting us at first, I managed to meet it after 3 attempts. The direction was very detestable and in no way up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. They showed no understanding. After insisting for a long time, they finally offered to reimburse us 40 euros on the condition that we did not post negative comments. When we returned, no payment was made. After multiple reminders from us, the direction finally replied in a rude manner that they would not compensate us after all. Dear travelers, avoid this establishment! You just have to look at the other comments online on the different sites to understand that there is a problem with this hotel, their reservation system and especially with the way the direction treats customers. the responses to negative comments is further proof of their incompetence and rudeness. I tried to talk to the superiors but they did not send me the contact details. I am obviously available to the big direction of this hotel if necessary. The hotel has my contact details.

I experienced excellent service, a flawless room, and impeccable hygiene during my stay. The reception team was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant service was outstanding, especially Bedri, who went above and beyond with his friendliness and exceptional service. The food was delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend Art Hotel to anyone traveling for business or leisure. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were there for three days from the 9th July. Granted we were in a no choice situation and therefore we probably had the smallest room in hotel. The location of the hotel in in a pretty run down area. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff could not be faulted. Obviously we had a slight communication problem at times but we got by. Personally I did not rate the food at all. They seem to have a problem with their chef who sometimes does not appear to provide lunch. I can only assume Split has better on offer.

Bad: -Dont pay extra for balcony room ( which I did šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø) unless ur smokerā€¦. There is no sightseeing .. just a table and chair to smokeā€¦ -Never book tours from hotel.. they take commissions and charge you more .. rather go through website or old town itself .. they booked mine with very bad agency.. with very high rates with poor service experienceā€¦. -Very disappointed with domestic service. Stayed for 5 days.. requested to clean my room on my 3rd day. They did not even bother to change pillow , bedsheet and blanket cover. My foundation and eyeliner marker were still there.. they just changed towel. This was very bad experience. Good - staffs at restaurant and pool were very nice, polite and helpful. -hotel was near to old town

Between cruises, we were booked at the art hotel by Katarina cruise lines. We were here only one night, but that night was terrific. Staff were amazing. We had some issues, and they were nothing but attentive and helpful in helping us to resolve all of our problems. The room was lovely. Mattress a little bit soft for our tastes, but nice. The shower was terrific. All marble! Beautifully a portion. The spa is included in your room church! What a treat that was.

Really nice hotel with a rooftop pool and 2 Jacuzzis. Not much shade by the pool a d no umbrellas (assuming this is because of the wind) breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are on the small side but very clean and comfortable with a fridge and aircon. Location is within 20 minutes walk of the harbour.

If you are a person of color donā€™t stay here. The guy at the lobby was very rude. However, when a group of white men came into the lobby he rolled out the red carpet for them. Itā€™s unfortunate because itā€™s an okay place to stay at. Please work on your customer service.

I had the dubious pleasure of using the services of this meager tabernacle. I wanted to warn anyone who would have an idea to choose this location for their stay. without extension, hotel staff canceled my booking 2 days prior to arrival. I had nowhere to go for my first day in split. I have never met such an approach to the client and I travel a lot around the world. I advise against anyone who counts on a professional approach of service to provide information. these 3 stars may be valid but 15 years ago.

Absolutely gorgeous stuff, everywhere in the hotel, reception desk, cleaning ladies, waiters, etc. nice hotel rooms, great pool on the roof of the hotel overlooking the city. We loved it. Also great location, near center of Split

Reception is great. I donā€™t like that there are people having phone calls in the swimming pool, I didnā€™t see any policy in respect to noise handling so donā€™t expect to be a quiet place to relax. They should add a place for having calls. The pool itself is ok and you have a separate place for sunbathing. Cleanliness is overall ok.

Great hotel, super tidy, great decor, comfortable and quite. Only inconvenience was being 15 min away from the city centre but the rooftop pool, hot tub, and the view are worth the walk. Breakfast is great, many options for all types of diet requirements

Firstly Iā€™d like to say a big thank you to Mia & Roko, those two especially work so hard for this Hotel and made our experience excellent. The rooms are very nice, clean and the air conditioning is a life saver for how cold it is. The pool area is fantastic, well looked after and offer fantastic views of Split. I could go on and on about this place, itā€™s only 15 minutes walk to the Harbour and the surrounding area offer lots of bars and restaurants. Again, a special thanks to Mia & Roko.

Very clean and nice- staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffet is small. Not a lot for people with food allergyā€™s, but they worked hard to accommodate. Great outdoor dining/ bar area. The neighborhood is not very nice looking, but I guess thatā€™s not the fault of the hotel. Walking distance to the waterfront/ historic area and the mall.

1,1 km from an amazing old city centre and so the best place to escape from the old town. It is a great hotel, very nice big rooms and an excellent bathroom. On the top a great swimming pool to enjoy the sun an the good life. The breakfast and especially the broad selection of fruit is genius, so splendid. You have an excellent working WiFi and can enjoy from a save an secure parking spot! By far highly recommended in Split!

No limit for excellence. Overall it is good hotel, 4 star nice lobby place, room with balcony are pretty good. Swimming pool area not as I expected from pics, but fine as well. Had a bit of argument with one of receptionist, who traid to stand up for hotel procedures, and attitude : client always not right. Breakfast is very simple: variety of omelet, cheeses, instant coffee, if you stay for more then 5 days you could be fed up with same meal. Location is fine, we walked sometimes and sometimes used Uber (in the morning it's very good price?)

The hotel premises are great - fantastic infinity rooftop pool, lovely decor, good beds and nice and modern rooms. Breakfast was not fantastic and it was good. The only downside is really the location, a bit too far from the main attractions and most restaurants. If you are OK with walking, it can be a good choice.

Receptionist was very helpful and let us check-in extremely early. We were surprised fridge didn't have plug next to it and table to work also didn't have plug only by bed. Clean and big room. In good location. I recommend to stay at their front hotel that has roof top, really nice

Me and my pregnant wife came early for check in yet the receptionist was very kind and helpful and offered us to relax by the pool on the rooftop and asked if we needed drinks and food. Even though the kitchen was closed she offered us some small meals and drinks. Hvala mladoj curi s crnom kosom i Frani (i Brani)šŸ˜!! The rooms was spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Rooftop terrace, pool and jacuzzi was very nice. Parking lots for cars was a big plus even though it was a short walk to the city. Definitely coming back here when visiting Split!

The hotel is only a 15 min walk to the seafront where the palace, shops and restaurants are so it's very convenient. I had an early check and had 3 hours to kill before my ride came. The young man working the bar named Branimir was extremely kind and friendly and helped the time pass faster for me. He is very personable and gave me a lot of useful information to help me on my travels while I island hop in Croatia. He's awesome and a great asset to Art Hotel.

šŸ˜  DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
