This small boutique hotel is perfectly situated on the West end of the main square just opposite the West entrance to Diocletianā€™s palace. We got one of the balcony rooms facing the square. If you can afford the splurge it is worth it. Wonderful large room with very come appointments and a large bathroom. You will get the noise from the square with the balcony door open but we did not mind it. And with the door closed it is very quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. For location and high quality this place would be hard to beat.

Perfect location right in the center square. Contacted hotel prior to arriving and they arranged transportation for us from ferry to Hotel. Smart thing as we never would have found it. Our driver, Mario recommended a restaurant and made the reservation for us. Makrarum was one of the best places you could ever hope to eat. Excellent cuisine and service. Front desk at Piazza Heritage was outstanding. They couldn't do enough for you. Clearly they have been trained well. Lovely furnishings, excellent amenities in the bathroom, L'Occitane. Very comfortable bed. A little loud in the Square at night, but when you are so tired from traveling, you get past it very quickly. Music, and singing in the Square, it's heartening to hear the happiness after the long pandemic when so many have been isolated. An excellent choice to stay to experience all Split has to offer!

The Piazza Heritage hotel is in the very center of the Diocletian palace of Split surrounded by all sorts of great restaurants / coffee shops / stores / bars. Since the hotel is in the middle of the palace by what seemed to be the main piazza, we were dropped off by our taxi driver and had to walk in a bit. It took a sec to find it since Google Maps didn't do the best of jobs inside the palace walls. That said once we did find it, it was super easy to locate again and it was in the perfect location. Lots of great restaurants and bars within a minute or two walk. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. White marble countertops, smooth white wood, mirrors, and white title. Very clean, elegant, smelled amazing, great music playing on low, and incredible staff. Since we arrived late (flight was 4 hours delayed) we were met by Luka who works overnight. This amazing guy would go onto be one of the absolute highlights of our trip there. He was super warm, friendly, professional, and went out of his way to connect with us. He walked us to our room, talked about all the places in the area we should visit, and then made a last minute restaurant reservation for us at the restaurant downstairs. He mentioned we would need to get there ASAP as they were closing soon, but he was able to convince them to stay open for us. The food was incredible, great local wine, and the staff there were really nice even though we were keeping them there longer than they normally would be. We finished dinner and went for a walk. The immediate area was still lively even though it was now 12:30am. People still eating and drinking in the piazza. We walked down to the water and saw lots of bars and even a few clubs with dance music going off. The area is absolutely magical day and night. Beautiful, high quality restaurants, bars and stores mixed in with old, historical architecture. Everything is easy to walk to and it feels very safe. The large majority of people everywhere we went spoke next to perfect English and were eager to connect. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. We had amazing views from our windows of the tops of palace buildings and my sister's room had views of the main piazza. The beds were very comfortable, there was great AC and they were pre-set to an ideal temperature, and the bathrooms were gorgeous too. Again, beautiful marble, tile, and high quality decorations. Before going to bed I spent a good amount of time talking to Luka about the next day. He got out a map and circled so many amazing looking spots for us to visit. Private beaches, a locals beach club, restaurants ideal for seafood and local cuisine, and places to take a beautiful walk or hike. I felt so lucky to get his time and it made me feel so much better than trying to find spots on an app. Getting the inside information from a really friendly local is obviously ideal. The next morning we checked out and met two amazing women who were working at the front desk. Josipa and Jelena. (There was one other as well but I forgot to get her name. Literally everyone there was exceptional.) They held our bags for us since our flight was late, and gave us additional recommendations on where to go. They made us feel really comfortable and taken care of, didn't mind that we came back a few times to get stuff from our bags, and even let us change in their bathroom. Long story short, we tried to fly to Naples that night but our flight got canceled after 6 hours of delays. We went back to the Piazza Heritage at 1:30am and Luka was there to greet us again. He knew of our troubles (since we were back and forth to our bags in the lobby while waiting for the flight delays to end and go to the airport), had spoken to management about our issue, and was able to offer us an amazing rate for the last two rooms available. I talked to him again, learned all about culture / real estate / schools / and so much more, and then hit the sack. They held our bags again the next day until we were finally able to leave. Top notch stay. Top notch people. Top notch hotel.

Stunning luxury hotel in a beautiful location. Inside the city walls. On the main square. We were wowed by our room. Super luxurious and spacious. Beds snd bedding were perfect. Though we had a balcony facing the beautiful plaza it was surprisingly quiet. Open the windows to the small terrace and sip on some wine while watching the crowds below taking in the historic viewpoint. Breakfast is served below in separate building. Enjoy breakfast inside or out on the charming terrace. Entrance is on a side street so was a but hard to find. Thankfully they had an elevator for these weary travelers.

Excellent location right in the middle of the old town. Super helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel provides parking for 40 euros a day which is also helpful

If I could give this hotel 6 āļø I would! Perfect location, amazing communication and the most helpful team. From arranging transportation to checking in and helping with a ferry to my next location, they went above and beyond. The rooms were bright, clean and modern, within a historic location. Donā€™t look elsewhere, just book here :)

Hotel location and service were fantastic. Staff was super helpful and would rate all of that A+. The only negative I would have for this hotel is the room arrangement. Half of the first floor rooms are right next to the registration desk which is manned 24/7. So itā€™s like having someone always right outside your room. Very strange feeling like having your parents outside your room. If you stay here, ensure you donā€™t get a first floor room.

I had an incredible stay at the Piazza Heritage Hotel! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The front desk was always attendant and helpful. In addition, the breakfast in the morning was excellent! The restaurant itself served amazing food for all meals. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic and stress free stay :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Piazza Heritage Hotel. As two young female travelers, we immediately felt safe and welcome when we arrived. We were greeted by a friendly concierge that accommodated us early and helped with a seamless check-in process. The room itself was a lovely two person bedroom with a gorgeous bathroom. The entire hotel was clean, bright, and in a perfect spot relative to everything. Our favorite part was the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Kitchen 5. The food options were fantastic, quality and freshness wonderful, and the waiter's service and attention to detail was unrivalled. Whenever we return to Split next, we will certainly be staying at this hotel again, I can not recommend it enough!

We loved our stay at Piazza! It was a perfect location right off the main square in Old Town, and we were met with extreme hospitality by the staff during our one week stay. We were really surprised at how quiet our room was considering the location, which was a plus. Our room had everything we needed. The daily breakfast and restaurant was also wonderful. Would absolutely recommend.

Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. When you go to breakfast sit in the outdoor courtyard.

We stayed one night. Really wish we couldā€™ve stayed longer. The room was lovely, clean, modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was included and it was really nice. Just remember to call them for buggy pick up as itā€™s hard to get to your luggage to the hotel over the cobble stones. I would stay here again. Next time for a few nights.

Charming boutique hotel in an excellent location. Rooms were comfortable, clean, with quality toiletries. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If you have a short stay in Split like us, this is the perfect hotel, because it's so centrally located, and you're just minutes away from anything within the palace walls. Breakfast was served at Kitchen on 5 next door, and we really enjoyed the breakfast as well!

We had a wonderful stay at the Piazza Heritage Hotel for 4 nights in Split! The hotel was in a perfect location and the hotel staff were superb! Josephine greeted us with a daily smile, assisted us with finding sites and restaurants and made sure we felt "at home"! The hotel was spotless and cleaned to perfection everyday! I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return to Split and stay here!

We had room 201 with a porch overlooking the square. It was so nice. The rooms are clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We were greeted by a welcoming staff and they helped us enjoy our two night stay. Breakfast was included. Make note to call the hotel before you arrive, because Taxis can't drop you off at the hotel. They send you to a predetermined location and meet you there to help you with the luggage.

Gorgeous hotel located right in the heart of the Old Town in Split, a short walk from the Dioclesian Palace and all the main attractions. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely room. Would stay again.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Piazza for a couple of nights in June and we couldn't have chosen any better. It's in the center of the palace, literally a minute's walk away from the waterfront. Our room was on the second floor, spacious and well-equipped, including beach towels which we asked for at the reception. AC worked flawlessly. We departed at dawn but a receptionist was on hand to help us out with luggage and handed out our lunch boxes.
