The pros: extremely central location, close to the marina and all the other attractions. For me it was also a plus that the hostel is situated next to an organic food store. Cons: the hostel looks odd. There is an escalator for the first floor that is broken and it all seemed to be under construction/unfinished although it didn't look particularly new/renovated. The dorm room itself was tiny and not clean. The floor was full of hair, which made it obvious that it hadn't been cleaned in quite a long time. The vent of the air-conditioning on the ceiling kept losing chunks of dust and grime that would fall on the ground. I was assigned a top bunk bed and it wasn't easy to climb the "ladder": two slippery slits in the wall, way too far apart from each other. Very dangerous to use especially when you're still drowsy from waking up. The chances of falling to the ground and breaking some bones is extremely high. The trash can was basically a broken Ikea box without a trash bag and it was full to the brim when I arrived there. Considering the fact that most travelers stayed for 1-2 nights it was impossible that they produced so much trash. That seemed more to be the product of neglect of the cleaning staff (who also forgot to take out dirty towels, recharge the toilet paper dispenser and clean the toilet). Also the door to the hostel was always open, which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that there was no one at the reception the 2 nights I stayed there and came back late.

The hostel was felt spacious despite the compact way of arranging the beds. The location is simply excellent and the staff is very friendly. Everything was clean. There is no real common room or kitchen. The gathering space is a bit meh. The biggest drawback for me was the way the shower, sink and toilet were arranged and executed. While the shower had a generous size for a hostel, there was nowhere to hang my clothing. The sink was in the room, but I had to lean into a nook to be able to use it. The restaurant downstairs might be a bit pricey for an average hostel client.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel/hotel. The place is perfectly situated in the old town and the staff was very friendly. They even upgraded our room to a double after my girlfriend and I realized that we had accidentally booked 2 beds in an 8 bed dorm. Good value for money.

Room: My boyfriend and I had booked a 2-sharing room on the 2nd floor because it gets loud on the 1st floor. But when we checked in, we were assigned a room on the 1st floor. The room was tiny, and had a small centralised AC vent in a weird corner of the room. This was a major con for us because it was about 32°C in mid-July. On the last two days of our travel we requested to be shifted to the bigger private rooms on the 3rd floor. It costed us an additional 20€/night but was worth it. These rooms were much cleaner and had a remote controlled air conditioning unit. These rooms are on the top-most floor, so can get really hot in the day time. But it should be manageable if you close the blinds. Ambience: The hostel was untidy and looked unfinished and undone when we stayed there. Wifi: Very poor WiFi, and no clear indication about the details to access WiFi. Location: Probably the only pro of the hostel. Great location in city center.

Only saving grace is the location. There is no air con in the rooms only some air that is so weak it comes through a vent on the ceiling but you are stifling during the night. The second beds are impossible to get up on! I regularly stay in hostels and I am fit and able and really struggled. If you were drunk I would be careful getting up there it's slippy and the two box slits to step on are very far apart with a tiny hand grab at a strange angle. Such a strange design that was obviously not tested before building! No common areas to hang out in but if you are busy in split that shouldn't be an issue. Overall, very poor value for money and I'm glad we only stayed one night.

Not a great stay. The only good thing was the location. My bed was on second floor and its extremely incovenient to get up. I literally struggled for 5 minutes to get up and someone helped me… Rooms are dark and tiny. No great common area. No breakfast included. Generally not a good value for money. I would avoid

Not even 1/5! This place is far away from what’s advertised. No public areas as shown on the pictures. Drunk people in the room who weren’t even guests. Had an awful stay. Luckily found another Hostel nearby and left sooner. No refund. The positive reviews must be fake, I didn’t meet a single person who liked the place. What a disaster. Dirty and chaotic. Would avoid!!!

Big hostel in split. Very good location. Food and drinks are good, cozy atmosphere outside but we were told off for playing cards outside, which seems werid for a hostel!? Upstairs doesn't really seem finished. Dorms are okay. Beds are good. Toilet, sink and shower in different areas but I guess that's so nobody occupies everything at once. Good hostel but NOT worth the price! Find one of the many apartment/rooms in town instead.

They accepted to host us late at night when we didn’t find where to stay because of flight cancellation. Clean! Calm and friendly

Spacious rooms, with elegant design. The host was knowledgeable and knew a lot about local sight seeing and what to cover and what to skip in the short time we had. The only awkward thing about the stay was the bathroom location and the angle at which it was placed.

Pros: Centrally located, right in the heart of old town, just a couple blocks from Diocletian's Palace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The whole place has a modern, funky design. Cons: It is very hard to get up and especially to get down from the top bunk. I'm a rock climber and still find it very awkward to get up and down. The room is very narrow, it can be claustrophobic to some people. I wish there are some hooks on the wall so that I can hang my towel and/or jacket.

Staff was very accommodating. Check in and Check out was very easy and I had a really pleasant stay. Location was perfect! Right in the center and with easy access to everything, Restaurants, Tourist attractions, Ferry, Bus station, and car rentals locations. Place was clean with ample locker space for backpacks (but not really big enough for a large trolley bag). Would stay again! However, Breakfast wasn't included. the restaurant had a good breakfast though but it cost extra. Parking is also a bit of an issue, as you have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the free parking.

Great location. Nice staff. However I had higher expectations regarding this design hostel. Rooms are not sound proof, meaning that you can hear everything happening in the bar on the ground floor. Upper lockers are ridiculously high, I'm 1.72m tall and could barely reach the lock, I could not imagine putting a 20kg luggage up in there. The bathroom is inside the dorms, meaning that they are mixed-gender and that you'll probably wake up hearing people going to the bathroom or shower either very early in the morning or late in the night. There's no lounge or kitchen (forget preparing your own meals). Clearly needs maintenance (see photos).

Stay here if you like the color yellow! 😂 The rooms are clean and fresh and you get one big locker for every bed. The toilet and shower are shared between 6 people and both are accessible from the room (I think they have 8 people dorms aswell). Every bed has a towel, a curtain, a lamp and there own outlet. We stayed here in late August and other than our group (~20 people) I did not se any other guests. Some guests found it hard to get up in to the top bunk but I think it was fine.

All Staff, especially the owner and the manager, were extremely accommodating and friendly, always checking up on us, making sure we didn’t have any issues. Location is perfect. Rooms were clean and had no issues with toilet/shower. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at.

I stayed in this hostel for 7 nights in July. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was ready upon arrival and clean. Other people in my room were also lovely and respectful. Staff were always happy to help and gave great recommendations about things to do in the area. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to everyone looking for somewhere affordable yet accessible in Split. Great location also

My stay was great. During my stay, two workers which I found out to be volunteers, their names Lily and Sophie, we’re especially kind to me. From the moment I walked in to the hostel to the moment I got to my room I had been debriefed on the rules of the hostel, the main attractions in Split, who my roommates where, and what to do if I need help (all of which was done with grandiose haste). Furthermore, I woke up one night to a bit of noise outside the door and I heard the voices of these same volunteers actively putting an end to this noise within 30 seconds. The rooms were clean and at a perfect temperature. If you come here and encounter the same volunteers, please let them know I said Hi.
