Our first visit to Croatia and I doubt we could have found a better hotel in Split. Very friendly, welcoming staff throughout the hotel. Fantastic facilities especially the roof top pool bar area! Our sea view balcony room surpasses our expectations with stunning views. Best of all though we still have five nights to go!! I strongly recommend anyone visiting Split to check out the Marvie, you won't be disappointed. A small addendum to my review, tonight is our last night and we had decided to have a a night at the hotel, drinks then onto the restaurant for food. I'll be honest I'm kicking on a bit in years and I've visited a few places and tasted many cuisines but The Marvie steak has just taken top spot. I've came online to thank the chef and staff for an absolute last night treat. The perfect end to an amazing holiday. Thank you Marvie it's been a blast! ❤️

Whilst the location and spa facilities are great, unfortunately I'm gonna have to give it a 1 star. Stayed here for 4 days, in which 2 of those days was unable to use the rooftop pool due to private functions. We were not advised of this till our arrival. The cost of the hotel stay is not worth its value in my opinion. Sea view balcony room stares straight into another concrete building with glimpses of the ocean at best. The towels are knackered, belong in a 3 star hotel, no toiletries in bathroom (so much for spa quality) beside a pump action cheap body cleanser attached to the wall. The beds were comfortable but rooms aren't sound proof, could hear people walking up and down the corridors and speaking on their phones in the next room that woke me up serval times in the night. Much better places to stay in Split for much less spend. I won't be returning to this hotel and would recommend anyone heading over to choose another hotel in the area.

The Marvie is fabulous! The staff is great! Irena and the rest of the staff made sure we had everything we needed. We just stayed there for a week, in a balcony room with a lovely view of the water. The room was perfect. The breakfast spread in the morning was amazing. Everything at the Marvie was top notch! Drinks at the bar...great... I recommend the "Pilots"! And the food at the on site restaurant was five star! We were within walking distance of anything we needed, as well as the water and Diocletian's Palace. Restaurant Movi was terrific, a two minute walk away. There is even a fantastic co-working space that we used, "The Works", which was only a 4 minute walk away. I not only highly recommend the Marvie, I will absolutely be back.

We booked the hotel based on provided pictures and good ratings online. The Hotel was solid but in our opinion there was a gap in pricing and the actual delivery. The wellness area is great with sauna, steam bath and pool, also the rooms are solid but nothing special even for the superior rooms. The roof top pool was nice to look at but we never got a place as the area is small. The breakfast was solid but nothing like the pictures on the website - there was no Love in it. Overall a solid hotel but for charging almost 200€ a night it definitively no recommendation.

Had a great experience staying here. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is included and it’s awesome. The roof top pool is a great place to hang out after a long day and chill. There is a grocery store close to the hotel. The hotel is almost walking distance (20-30) to the old town. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Fabulous Hotel! I was there off-season, so the rooftop pool was closed. The concierge staff more than made up for it though. Irena, Due and Tijana were absolutely fantastic! They were very helpful in recommending fun things to do and restaurants to eat at. I would definitely go back in the summer months. They also have an amazing spa!

My favorite place in the city of Split. From their waiters to their spa employees everyone is so very friendly and really helpful. I feel like princess every time I go there. Moreover it has really beautiful and clean inside and outside pool, the jacuzzi and two saunas. Further, the food is very delicious with reasonable prices. Their menu has many healthy food options and all of them look tasty, I especially love their desserts. Finally, I have also tried several massages which I would also recommend. They are really relaxing and beautiful :)

Decided to get a day pass to use the wellness area (pool, sauna, gym) and rooftop pool (140kn). The rooftop is not big but since it’s shoulder season there were not many people there. The views are stunning. You can just lay in the sun bed and watch the water and ferries. You can also order food/drinks from the restaurant that are then brought up.

Really nice rooms, great location, staff are super friendly. Very nice place to stay and just a short walk to the beach. Roof top pool is lovely with great views, albeit a bit small. Didn’t use the spa facilities.

Went above and beyond my expectations. You get more than you think you are going to get since their website is a little bare. It’s only a mile away from downtown Split and very walkable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar and breakfast areas were clean, drinks delicious, and food incredible. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and overlooks the ocean, and the indoor pool / hot tub are incredible. There are steam rooms and saunas available to guests, as well as the option to book spa days. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely worth the money and more. Would go back.

Stayed here for a week and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We didn't use the spa facilities bit we did use the gym on two occasions. It's the best gym I have seen in a hotel, 2 treadmills, a cross trainer, bike, various weights machines, dumbbells and kettle bells. The staff were awesome! Extremely friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to see that you were enjoying your stay..

The staff here are so lovely, it really makes the experience of being a guest here. The rooms are good and the food served in the restaurant is great. There is a roof top pool and bar which has a spectacular view. If you are looking for a well positioned hotel in spilt, this is a good bet.

A very comfortable and modern hotel with a roof top pool and bar overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Good gym as far as hotel gyms go, cable machine, benches, kettle bells and dumbells. Treadmills. Fantastic breakfast, courtious and friendly staff, and fantastic location in walking distance of restaurants.

Staff were welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean. Spa was included in our stay. Beach within walking distance, old Town about 20 min walk, but easy to get a Taxi

Stayed for 6 nights and couldn't fault a thing. Hotel was lovely, rooms where spacious and modern. Pool and roof terrace was beautiful, with great views of the sea and the staff were more than helpful. Within a mile from the old town, so a nice little walk. Definitely stay again if I were to visit Split in the future.

Great hotel and modern. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. It was 35 c so we did not walk to old town (30 minutes) . Overall great if you enjoy modern amenities. There is a gym & spa . Roof top swimming pool. There is also a supermarket 3 minutes walk away

  • 5/5 JoAnna 9 months ago on Google
Really nice and modern hotel within walking distance of old town. Several very good restaurants within a short walk. The sauna was a nice bonus and was well equipped. The pool deck was small, so arrive early to secure a chair. Breakfast was good. Service was excellent all around the hotel.

Great hotel experience. We stayed two nights at this hotel and we were amazed. The service is some of the best I have ever received, even considering the prices. The front desk was super welcoming and helpful for requests or guidance around split. Rooms are somewhat small for the price, however, the amenities are great. The Location is somewhat far from major attractions, however, it is in a good area. Breakfast was also 10/10. Overall, a great hotel experience.

Modern and spacious rooms with an amazing rooftop pool/bar area. The breakfast is a big spread and nice options. The gym could use a bit of an upgrade but not too bad as is. The front desk staff were kind and helpful! Close to the water.

I arrived today from dubrovnik on the bus. The hotel is only a few years old and you can smell the newness. I am on the 4th floor and the hallway smells so good. The view over the Adriatic and islands is splendid. My room with a balcony is large and as a huge bathroom. I can't wait to get into the big bed. Downstairs is the restaurant and bar and I am sipping on a Ozujsko a Croatia beer while waiting for a meal.

Fabulous hotel, but what really makes it an exceptional experience is it's staff. It is very nice to see motivated, enthusiastic people who love their job, it makes stay even more pleasant. All the compliments to Irena for going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. As for the other aspects, rooms are well equipped, clean, beds very comfortable. Rooftop terrace is lovely, it can get a bit packed in the afternoon, but overall very enjoyable, especially with the happy hour on cocktails. Overall, amazing experience.

Amazing experience! People who work here are so great, helpfull, so positive making your stay even more pleasant. They are real treasure of this hotel. Rooms, wellness&spa, rooftop terrace and pool are very clean and very enjoyable. We spent few excellent days here 🙂🍀

Very pleased that we booked this hotel. Perfectly situated in a quiet area of split. A 15 minute walk will see you in the centre of Split, or walk around the seafront in 20 minutes. 5 minute walk to the beach. Everything in the Hotel is classy. Breakfasts for all tastes. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is clean and pristine at all times. The rooftop pool and bar has great views over the sea. There is a health club there, that is free to guests, but we didn't have the time to use it. All in all, highly recommended !

The rooms are nice and clean. The Spa facilities are excellent. The hotel can get a bit noisy on the weekend and it is a 20ish minute walk to split old town but it is close to the local marina and has quite a few local restaurants and bars. The food is reasonably priced

We have been at the Marvie hotel for eight nights in a total of 19 nights we are staying. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. The health facilities are as good as we’ve seen any place. Everything seems really nice. No complaints thus far.

Excellent service, the wellness facility is great - and the view from our room was beautiful! Here for the winter season so was quiet & serene but had a wonderful time regardless. About 15min walk along the coast to city centre and surrounded by good selection of restaurants.

Lovely stay here for a week. The hotel was immaculate and the staff extremely attentive. Spa is also good and at times you can find yourself having the whole place to yourself. Will be back again, thank you.

Nice hotel but nothing special. Walkable to the old town (about 20 mins) or a 5-10 Uber (beware the hotel is in a hospital zone so you need to move your pin across the street I order to get picked up/avoid walking to a central pick up point). Nice rooftop pool.

  • 4/5 Pise K. 2 years ago on Google
Great location with a view of the water. Wellness spa was booked up during the stay. Recommend possibly booking the spa ahead of time. However, there are other spas in the city as well. Try the banana split from room service. It was amazing.

absolutely comfortable hotel, all is perfect, nice spa and good breakfast, small pool in the roof top bar sea-view. Approx 20 minutes walking to city center

We have just spent 7 days at this fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly, professional & nothing is to much trouble. Our room has been cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. There is a vast array of food to choose from at breakfast time that has been well prepared & cooked. The hotel has Spa facilities but our favourite area is the roof top pool bar that you can see the stunning views of Split & the harbour side.

  • 5/5 Manon V. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel has a great location next to some beautiful beaches, great restaurants and only a 20 minute walk from the old city centre. The rooms are very big, unfortunately we were able to hear the room above us when they flushed the toilet. The spa centre is lovely. I appreciate the fact that not the entire spa is allowed for children so that you can have some true relaxing time. The swimming pool and bar on the roof terrace are impeccable! We did try the food there, but the food was very basic. There was one blond lady working the reception on the morning/mid day shifts and she was so extremely nice and helpful! She made our stay even better!

Lovely, relaxed & modern Spa Hotel. Great buffet breakfast with a wide selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese, fruit and a hot plate buffet to enjoy.. The rooftop pool is very shallow but fabulous for a refreshing, cool dip. There's limited space on the terrace so sunbeds are at a premium, well worth getting up there early to get a day of R&R during a stay here. You'll get best views from higher floor rooms, in hindsight, we wished we'd paid for a balcony room facing the sea. Restaurants are a walk away but with Split Old Town a 30min stroll or 5min taxi ride you'll find places to suit every palette and budget. The staff are all very friendly and professional would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split.

From the minute you walk in, the air is clean and fresh, unlike so many other hotels that have musty smells or they have automated perfume sprayers, which give me headache. This hotel though! Fresh air! And it has all the small touches of a fine hotel. I am so happy that we found it! Congratulations to the management and team! 🙌🏻

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a package deal with TUI and all I can say is that everything about this place is sheer quality. The friendliness, professionalism and quality of service is second to none. We were always greeted with a really friendly smile and welcome every time we returned from a days sightseeing, in particular the reception staff who wanted to engage with you and talk about how your day had been. What makes this place particularly impressive is the infinity pool on the rooftop terrace! The views over the marina are absolutely stunning and having a bar where you can get food and drink is ideal for a lazy day of relaxing and unwinding. If you're looking to go into the old town of Split then it is a good 25-30 minute walk away, but with the weather being amazing, it's nice to casually stroll through the streets, or along the beachfront, to get there. Taxis are bookable through reception and it's relatively cheap to get there if you don't fancy the walk - we felt very safe during the day and night walking to/from the hotel to the old town. Don't forget to check out some of the restaurants in close proximity to the hotel - there are some exceptional places that really shouldn't be missed! Can't praise this place highly enough - it left a lasting impression on us after our stay here.

Went for a dinner here with my girlfriend. Marvie is famous as gluten free friendly restaurant and we were here for Split restaurants week. So whole menu per person was 20 EUR total. I had tomato soup, beefsteak with GF pasta and cheesecake, while my girlfriend had tuna salad, black rissoto and chocolate mousse. Fast and friendly service, excellent 👍🏼

This is strictly a spa review! The facility is pretty new and somewhat shiny. I haven't figured out how to work the hot tub jets as only part of them works at a time. It is a nice feature that the pool, hot tub and sauna are free for guests. I also booked a massage, I would never call it a massage, it's more of a lotion application. I have injured my back and thought a mix os sports massage and relaxation may help. I asked the girl to increase the pressure there times until I eventually gave up. My advice would be, if you want a massage go somewhere else, but if you want an hour long lotion application, this is your place

Great Hotel. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, view is amazing… breakfast was really good, rich and with great variety ! We had a very pleasant stay.

Large room, comfy bed, lots of storage, good sized bathroom, fast wi-fi, fabulous breakfast - masses of choices and decent coffee. Happy with the location, there's several restaurants and bars close by, the sea is less than 5 mins walk with great pathway to either Split old town or several pleasant beaches (go left past the harbour). Disappointed that the roof top pool is only 0.9m deep and the distinct lack of sun beds (max 15!), but it's still pleasant there. Spa was good and pool is deeper. Staff really pleasant.

The staff are very dishonest. We booked the hotel after confirming that there is a fridge in the room. After arriving, we attempted to put our infants’ pumped milk in the fridge and realized that it wasn’t working. We called the reception and they said it was only intended to be a mini bar and not a fridge. We called again and again over Eve following two days and finally someone came and fixed it! Extremely dishonest staff!

Very nice and modern hotel near the city center, the staff is friendly and helpful. We spent a great time in the spa and relax zone and afterwards enjoyed the delicious food prepared by chef Martin.

Two of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet, tere were so many choices, and organized tour with adventure motorcycles from Desmo Adventure. The hotel's rooftop pool and bar is also a must-visit.

Been here 4x in the past 4 months. Very friendly staff, good restaurant and food. The rooms are great price/value. The spa is nice. All in all my top pick in Split for quick business trips

I have recently returned from a weeks holiday in Split where I stayed at the Marvie Hotel. The hotel reception staff were very helpful, accommodating and welcoming to all guests. They were able to share places to visit in Split and help with any questions. The hotel overall was very clean, great food and had luxury spa facilities. Really happy with my stay and thank you to the Marvie Hotel staff.
