Beyond 5 star recommendation! Hosts are friendly, helpful and have infinite great advice and local suggestions. Location is perfect in the centre of old town but rooms are quiet with sound and light blocking blinds. Rooms are modern but in historic building still with old walls and small “old” touches. Great air con, fridge and modern bathrooms. Communal use kitchen (perfect for longer stay). Stayed 10 days and would happily highly recommend.

The Captain‘s Apartment is a wonderful place to stay in Split. Close to walk to the old town center. It’s cosy and nice with a lot heartblood managed. Every room is wonderful furnished and special decorated. Fridge and in a few rooms small kitchenette and there is also the reception with fridge and the possibility to cook hot water for Coffee or tea. We are veryvery happy with our stay and also with the transfer to the airport with Martin the taxi driver. Thanks a lot and we wish you always good business. Manu and Annie

You can't get more central to Split old town. Right in the heart ❤️ of it all. Very well appointed room with extras like a communal kitchen on hand. Being on a pedestrian area where the only vehicles are electric buggies, suitcases on wheels would help. Nearest carpark 200 mtrs. Old town is brilliant and you couldn't get a nicer apartment. 10/10

We stayed for just 1 night at the end of our trip. Great location just off the main promenade, perfectly clean & adequate for our night. Host is most helpful in helping with self checkin.

We stayed at the Captain's Apartment in Split in January 2015. We arrived around 6PM and Natasa was waiting to meet us. She made us feel very welcome and gave us some great tips for local sites and restaurants. The room was clean and warm, quiet and very tastefully decorated. The location is excellent - an easy walk to the waterfront or into the shopping areas. Also close to many cafes and eating places. We would definitely stay again.

I've been at 4 pm and nobody opens the door. Apparently, you need to check in via phone. My phone was dead and I couldn't get in my room. The worst experience I've had in a while. I can only advise everyone not to go to this place!!!!

This place is great! It's centrally located in the middle of Old Split, with tons of stuff to do around it. This place is also a great value for your money! The apartment itself is very cozy, hardwood floors throughout the bedroom, your own little kitchenette and a nice bathroom. The hostess Natasa is also very helpful.

Natasha is a very nice hostess, knowledgeable and warm welcome. The rooms are modern, clean and with large beds and all amenities. The location is smack in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. Parking nearby.

Central location near the Adriatic Port with the ferries to the Islands. It is located in the old town with restaurants, shoppingstreet, cafés & bars. Excellent location! The Room was superfresh, and the bed was so comfortable! Memory foam bed! Excellent! Slept well! Coffee/tea/kettle in the room and some candy.

Captain apartments are located in the very heart of Split and it is a perfect choise to stay.Accomodations are big enough, spotesly clean,tastefully decorated and fully equipped.Besides there are many restaurants,shops,groceries just near by.We have stayed four days in October this year and felt at home.Natasa is very professional and communicative person. We are looking forward to visit Split again as well as Captain guesthouse. I would like to highly recommend Captains gusthouse in Split for all tourist/visitors.

Great location... comfortable space right in the midst of history. Small kitchen space was nicely equipped. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

The location is right in the center and close to a parking lot. The room was nicely decorated, although smallish. There is a "reception" on the first floor where you leave the keys, which has friendly hostel vibes. We didn't discover it until checkout though, so take advantage of it while you are there!

Very very noisy for room on the street side. Otherwise, great service and room. I guess other rooms might be better

Excellent location, good price and we had a great renovated heritage room with new bathroom. Was big too!
