If you are a beginner astronomer this is a good place to visit. The guide will give you a tour with the telescope of the best sky objects you can see that night. This is especially nice on the bright summer night, and also if you came here earlier you can see a great sunset over Split.

Beautiful view from 700m above sea level 🤩 You can see Italy far away, the town Split and the islands. It's accessible by car or foot. There is even a bus that goes all the way up. Not a big parking, as one would expect. It can be very cold and windy, even when it's sunny and warm in the foothill.

Star village or village of stars would be translation. Nice view on Split and around as well as good place for children. And it is especially lively during Night of museums where is free with special program. As I have family house just below the hill we were often climbing while the building was not finished as it was abandoned for a long period before it was finally completed. And it is interesting that road was at least partially built by young volunteers from all over ex Yugoslavia as part of famous ORA (omladinska radna akcija or youth work action).

Great place to see sunsets over the Split bay area. Only accessible by car, beware of narrows streets with sharp turns and steep ascents/descents. Don't drive up there if you feel uncomfortable with that. Friday and Saturday it is possible to gaze at the stars. Check website before doing so, sometimes the observatory is closed due to holidays. In this case it's still worth going up there for the sunsets.

Very cool place. It's on the top of the hill so it's well hidden from the city lights. Great place for observing stars. It's 30 mins from Split. Not hard to find. Road is a little bit narrow. All in all, will visit again.

Plan your visits before. Works only Friday and Saturday. Visit at night only. Some seasons or days can be just empty sky and you see nothing

We went up at sunset and received an epic view of the area. Then went inside for an guided tour thru the visible stars. It was really interesting for the children and totally worth it.

Very beautiful place to see the stars and the moon. Friendly people who are willing to explain all about the universe. We have seen Saturn very clearly throug the telescope. They will ask you for a small donation since they completely run on donations.

Friendly staff there and it's driven by donations not fixed ticket prices. However, their main telescope and dome are broken so it's more like visiting an uncle with a £10k telescope!

I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful mountain recently, and I am still completely amazed by the experience. The view from up here was simply stunning! It was a magical place where you could see the city of Split glowing in the distance, with the majestic mountains extending behind it. And all of this set against the backdrop of the sparkling sea. Although the planetarium was unfortunately closed, it didn't bother me at all. The breathtaking view of the sunset more than made up for this small setback. It was a breathtaking spectacle that I won't forget anytime soon. The colors of the sky as the sun slowly set were simply fantastic. It felt like nature was showcasing its entire repertoire of colors. The ambiance up there was unreal. The tranquility and serenity you feel when you let your gaze wander over the landscape are indescribable. It's the perfect place to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and simply savor the moment. Getting to the mountain was relatively straightforward, and the signage was clearly visible, making it easy to find your way. It's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of nature and be enchanted by the spectacular views. Overall, my visit to this mountain was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Even though the planetarium was closed, I never got bored thanks to the breathtaking sunset view. I will definitely come back to relive the beauty of this place. If you're looking for a location where you can enjoy breathtaking views and witness an unforgettable sunset, this mountain is the perfect destination for you!

Amazing place for sky and starts viewing! No worries about the road if you are experienced driver - the place is on the top ;) Unfortunately we visited it when it was closed ( planned holidays after season ) so we spend nice time outside with tea and dessert.

I didn't come for the stars, but for the peace and quiet and the beautiful view. I got it all here. Wonderful vacation, fantastic energy.
