This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a negative review about a doctor. I need to share my experience so others know how this practice operates. During a visit for my 4 years daughter’s common flu-like infection symptoms, after a quick check, the doctor strongly recommended an in-depth examination (fiber endoscopy) that we refused. He insisted so much saying that he has 40 years experience and that my daughter might need an urgent surgery that we freaked out and said ok. After this 2 minutes exam he said that since she has an infection (which we all knew already), he couldn’t really tell and that we have to check again once we’ll be back to our country. And yeah we were charged €200 (check the photo). Of course like every decent scam he didn’t accept credit cards and kept my pregnant wife and kid as an insurance while I was urged to go get the cash. When I came back he literally took the money off my hands. When he saw how angry I was he said ok I’ll give you 50€ discount. He also said that prices where displayed (for his defense it was the case, in Croatian of course, and yeah I must be as bad in maths as in Croatian, photo also attached) This is the worst touristic scam I’ve ever encountered, and from a doctor no less. It’s a disgrace! It ruined my day and a part of my Croatian experience !

To be honest if there was less than 1-star I would gladly give it! I had otitis, I was searching for a doctor that would be willing to take me as a patient, so I found this clinic, I called him and manage to get to him within the next 15-20 min, when I came the doctor was friendly, he checked my ears for maybe 5 min if not less, he told me what I already knew, when he finished checking he put cotton plug in one of my ears with ointment and moved to write the prescription. The bill for a 5 min check without anything special other than writing a prescription was 100 EUR !! Now to be fair at that moment I had a lot of pain and was willing to pay it and be done, however, fortunately for me and unfortunately for him, I never carry cash on me and only pay by card, to be exact by my phone, problem is he doesn't have a terminal for card payment, so he pointed me to the nearest ATM machine, which was not going to work since I don't carry cards either, now I know this is my problem, but how he acted after that is what surprised me, when I explained my situation to him, he immediately turned rude, and removed that cotton with ointment in my ear and told me, when I am back with the money he gonna put it back, he didn't ask me he just moved straight toward me and removed it him-self, at this point I understood that despite the pain I don't wanna deal with this kind of people, so I left! I don't recommend him to anyone, you will find better clinics with better doctors for WAY less price! Also what bothers me is that he gives you the check on a piece of hand-written paper, in 21 century !! Edit: Judging by the owner reply, it got personal and we began name calling, very "professional, I hope people can see and make their own conclusions

When I was looking for a good ENT doctor in Croatia due to a tonsil abscess, I became aware of Dr.Kurtović because of his good reviews. The doctor was able to fulfil these expectations to my complete satisfaction. Mr. Kurtović is a great person and takes time for his patients. He was able to make a competent statement about my problem and I am very satisfied with the treatment. The doctor speaks very good English and is therefore ideally suited for holidaymakers or workers from other countries. The costs are comparatively high for Croatia, but justified for a good treatment. I have been living here for a while and believe me, I have had cheaper doctors but they could not help me. Payment in cash.

A great doctor who will always make time for you, identify your issues and prescribe the right medicine. With an infection of the middle ear and the throat after visiting Dr. Kurtović I was fine within three days. He is super friendly, I would always recommend him!

Dr. Dragan is a very nice and efficient doctor. He has treated my skin infection as well as my daughter‘s ear. We were happy to find him in our cases of emergency and we can highly recommend his skills.

Contacted Doctor Kurtovic for an ear infection problem by email, his response was swift and an appointment made. His diagnosis was efficient and treatment worked exactly as he said it would, cured in 6 days and able to swim and shower throughout. Thank you. Couldn’t ask for a better result.

I was on holiday near Split and got problems with my ears. Dr. Kurtovic offered me a prompt appointment. Very friendly and 100% professional. He helped me immediately and the problem was solved within minutes.

I unfortunately became sick during a recent visit to Croatia and suffered from a severe sore throat. I searched online and found Dr. Dragan. Despite the fact he was leaving for vacation on the day I showed up at his office (unannounced), he graciously changed his schedule to see me. He promptly evaluated me, and prescribed medications to address my illness. Dr. Dragan is truly a consummate medical professional. Thank you!

Very nice and professional doctor specialized in ENT (ears, nose, throat). We called in the morning and could come in an hour, and he did all the examinations necessary. Very good in english as well. Highly recommended if you need a doctor in any of these areas.

Good ENT doctor. I was helped swiftly with a bad ear infection due to swimming pool. After calling in I could visit him within the hour. Examinations carried out were proffesional as well as prescribed treatment. Parking arround his office is challenging and don't be thrown off at first with the more exotic styling of his office. His English is good. Can certainly recommend.
