A very nice climb with very clean and well preserved stairs . Even when you want to do at night , there are lot of lights ( as you can see from the picture ) . At the end of the stairs there will be a very nice viewpoint of the city and a bar with an outstanding terrace from where you can stop to have a coffe , enjoying yourself in the meantime the view . Absolutely recommended !! Don’t miss this opportunity if you are in Split

Wow! Stunning views of Split, highly recommend a visit. You can take a small cart up from the old city or you can walk up the stairs and back down the mountain (2-3 hours maybe longer with breaks). Great workout too.

For the fittest among us. You can even get higher for even nicer views. Or a visit to the zoo, that's on the top.

It's a difficult climb to the top but the street at the bottom is really charming. The stairs give you a great view of the city and there is various things to see along the way such as an old church.

Gorgeous park with so many greenery. It's very clean and has beautiful view when you arrive on the top. There are so many stairs, so wouldn't recommend to someone who has heart problems. Pictures will describe more than i can :)

Was a tough trek in the raging sunshine but was worth the challenge, great views from the top of the city and football stadium but definitely not for younger kids

A lot of stairs to climb..whew. this would be very good for hiking. The stairs leads to the park and a top where you can view the whole city and the sea. Amazing.

It takes some energy to take all the stairs, but it is worthwhile doing. Wonderful views and environment. If you like to walk and you love nature: this is a must do. René & Menekşe.

Great views of Split, but a few electrical lines at the top are a small eyesore.

246 stairs (6mins walking straight up) to the first look out where these photos were taken. Beautiful and quiet at sunrise. You can continue walking up, however this was enough for a nice view.

We went on possibly the hottest day of our trip! Talk about sweaty going up the hill! What a view however, it's a lovely place, lots of greenery! It's a good walk if you intend going from one end to the other!

Pretty easy walk up and down. Nice view of the city when you get to the top with benches throughout the hike.

Lovely free view. But some parts blocked with trees. Sun does not set this way. You have to walk up way further to see sunset at other side of hill.

The park is one of the most beautiful places in Split. Definately a must-see. Different paths to be followed, depending on how much time you have. Unfortunately I couldn't spot any public toilet there, such a shame.

Amazing few from the top, worth the walk and a reasonable priced bar before heading back down

If you have ever walked up a hill in San Francisco, you can walk up these stairs either eaze. From top to the view point is about 5-6 minutes and there’s a little restaurant for a glass of wine. Beautiful view!

Lovely place for a walk. Several highly recommendable view points in nearby, but keep in mind that in rush hours they could be a bit crowded. If you feel thirsty there is water fountain around the corner.

A beautiful place to visit without charge. If you go by car it can be challenging to find parking but we were surprisingly able to on the weekend. It’s best to go late afternoon while it’s still light outside so you can see better as there are no lights. We went during sunset time but then wished we had been there earlier to walk and see things more clearly. A great scenic place to walk.

Those are truly nice stairs, to be honest. Can be a bit challenging during summertime - but hiking enthusiasts will definitely enjoy :)
