We went to Tinel Specialty Coffee with high expectations but where surprised by the poor skills of the barista. The foam of the “Flat White” coffee was not what you expected for a specialty store (basically 1 star). Taste of the coffee was good but that was about it. Friendly personal and nice place to sit. Because of the good atmosphere 2 stars. Missed opportunity if you have a decent machine and nice beans.

We accidentally discovered this place and were amazed with coffee and service. Perfect place for starting the day in cozy atmosphere. Try their chocolate croissants!

Decent coffee, but price does not reflect the quality. The other reviews are correct, too bitter. I even added honey for an extra price. Nice atmosphere and great service. More menu options than some other specialty coffee shops in Dalmatia.

Great combination of coffee shop and cocktail bar in the heart of old town. Coffee is great, desserts are tasty, music is stunning. Totally recommend!

Wasn't impressed with their coffee. We ordered flat white and an iced latte. The coffee in the flat white was over extracted and had a dry and bitter taste and also felt rough in the throat while swallowing. The coffee in the iced latte on the other hand was under extracted and was almost flavorless, mostly tasted of milk. The positive thing about this place is the traditional Rafioli - it was very fresh, crumbly and absolutely delicious - and just their Rafioli made it worth the visit. Won't recommend for their coffee but definitely recommend their Rafioli.

We tried all the high rated coffee shops in Trogir and this one is the best…best coffee, best food options and best service. The espresso was excellent and the avocado toast is worth bankrupting your future—get it! And the outdoor seating in the stone alley in the old town, under a fig tree, is amazing.

I've been few coffee shops in Croatia while my travel but all of them served below average quality coffee. Tinel coffee shop broke that unfortunate image for me. They are serving fresh coffee. Service is wonderful and atmosphere is nice. It was the only decent coffee I had in Croatia. Well done.

Very nice spot ! The coffee is great ! But : the avocado toast is very small in comparison with the ham & cheese sandwich. And it would be nice to have an egg option on the avocado toast.

Lovely little cafe hidden in the busy street of Trogir. We tried some of the local biscuits, which was tasty. My husband very much enjoyed his affogato. They let you fill your water bottle if you ask nicely. The waitress was really nice.

Tinel is a very cute coffee shop in a small alley in the beautiful old town of Trogir. I'm always on the hunt for good coffee places (with milk alternatives) and Tinel doesn't dissapoint. We ordered cappuccino and toasted bread with avocado, and we had a very nice breakfast. The outdoor area is just gorgeous! ☺️

sehr nettes kleines Lokal mit gutem Kaffee (Option mit Hafermilch), wir waren hier mehrere Male frühstücken, preislich für die top Lage mehr als ok. Avocado Toast ist sehr empfehlenswert! Das Ambiente ist ein Traum - man sitzt hier unter einem Feigenbaum in einer kleinen Gasse und kann die Umgebung beobachten :)

Very nice place, near the stairs, while you are drinking your coffee, you feel the history. Many types of coffee are served. The coffee tastes great, you should definitely try it.

Flat white was a little over extracted tasted a little on the bitter end. But still better than most I had so far in Croatia. Nce quaint place though. Had a big assortment of cold beverages, a little pricey I find.

Very cute café with indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is very good and the breakfast offer was excellent. It has a very modern and chill vibe. Free wifi and possibility to charge your phone are just more highlights. The prices are very moderate. Definite recommendation to check this place out.

Our first visit in April was very pleasant. Great Espresso tonic, iced coffee. The prices were pretty expensive. But the experience was great (1. Photo). Now we repeated our visit and the cappuccino was ok tho a bit sloppy. Chai latte is milk with a hint of cinnamon but you can't feel the taste of the spices at all. It was quite disappointing. Maybe we were unlucky because there were different baristas. (2. Photo). Overall order classic espresso drinks only probably.

Started in Trogir on a two week trip from north to south along the Dalmatian Coast. Tinel has the perfect morning vibe in a serene setting. Best coffee we had during our trip. Besides their array of milks they have single blends you should really try. The owner will guide you. Most coffees are on the dark roasted side in Croatia, at Tinel even their basic offering was well balanced.

A truly beautiful little café in the little alleys of Trogir. Has a small indoor and a nice outdoor area. It’s shaded during the day so ideal if you are looking to cool off. Coffee is superb, great variety of drinks, plant based milk is also available.

Beautiful setting, very friendly hosts and the best cappuccino. If you are looking for quality coffee and a hidden gem in the alleys Trogir Old Town look no further. We went back for our second cup within the first hour of being there.

Hard to find great quality coffee in Croatia. Tinel is brilliant! They even have alternative milks (and know how to use them! Unlike other places) We came here every day of our time in Trogir and were never disappointed. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. You can get coffee to takeaway too. Highly highly recommend!

Delicious coffee and super sweet staff. Very popular place and it’s also small, so be patient! Oat milk cappuccino was delicious, slightly (and naturally) on the sweeter side. The fresh squeezed orange juice looked super good, saw a few people order those. Would love to come back and try that next time!

Cosy and calm place! We tried the lemon juice(freshly prepared) along with the Rafiol cookies(speciality from here). Would strongly recommend this place :)

This is an unexpected gem in the old town of Trogir, a beautiful place with nice sitting areas inside and outside and really good coffee. We had two Flat Whites which very meticulously made and very nicely served (and tested really good!), so we can absolutely recommend the place.

Probably the only decent and delicious coffee place we found on our trip around split. They also do decent deserts and the location is perfect.
