It looks really nice but unfortunately it doesn't keep what it promises. The music for a dinner is too loud. The staff is not friendly and also not competent. The burgers weren't fresh, so my companion had diarrhea and the fries weren't crispy but rather limp. The only positive thing was the view - Sorry - not good

I highly recommend this restaurant. The white fish, tuna, and tuna with gnocchi were delicious. The mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables complemented the dishes perfectly. The flavors were exceptional, and we were pleasantly surprised. We also tried the famous Grigich Hills wine from Croatia, which was excellent. For dessert, we had a chocolate mocha with ice cream, which was a delightful way to end the meal. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. A must stop at this restaurant if you visit Split. Great quality of food and service accompanied by excellent views of Split beach. I recommend making a reservation and going at night. They accept credit card as a form of payment. Recommended!

Great eye rib, with a fantastic ambiance and excellent service. Could've given me a table by the balcony, as I asked, though (all 5 rested empty the entire dinner)

My visit to TORTUGA Restaurant was nothing short of disappointment and disheartening. The poor customer service I received, coupled with the blatant discrimination from the manager and supervisor, left a lasting negative impression. The staff at TORTUGA showed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy from the moment I arrived. The manager and supervisor, who should have set an example, treated me differently due to my skin color, making me feel targeted and discriminated throughout my entire visit. The combination of terrible customer service and discrimination is unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to address these issues promptly. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and all customers should be treated with respect and equality.

a fantastic restaurant, with an exceptional view of the sea! but above all excellent cuisine! the meat was truly an excellent choice, I ate the picanha with an exceptional green sauce and a starter of cured meats accompanied by hot pizza bread from the oven... the best culinary experience in Croatia

This was one of the best Dining experiences I have ever had. The food and wine was excellent, the view was superb and the service couldn’t have been better. Our waiter Ivan was amazing and went out of his way to introduce us to the best Gin I’ve ever had (Old Pilot’s) and thus the best gin and tonic I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Anyone giving this place a 1 star review are probably miserable lumps that couldn’t find happiness even if they were paid to do so. There is no way they were dining at the same place I was. I can’t imagine finding something to complain about in a place as beautiful and accommodating as this place.

It was our last dinner in Split and boy ir didn’t dissapoint. The place has a great vibe and panorama and they can compliment it with great food and service. Everything we had was really good from cocktails to dessert and digestives.

The taste of the food was great, but there is too much effort for the presentation, making the basics to feel a bit weird. The bubbles on my sea food past was totally unnecessary… The drinks were 100% Service and views are worth the visit. I had two pina coladas 1 sea food pasta The bill was 46,80 euros

Such a cute place right off of the beach. Not sure how parking is as we were able to walk from our hotel. Our waiter and hostess spoke perfect English and accommodated our every need. We are a family of six so we needed a larger table and they had enough space to give us options! Great place, we had the steak plate, some cheeseburgers, and the tomato soup, all were delicious. We also had a pina colada and a mojito, delicious.

Top notch place! We did not have a reservation but they made something available and the service stayed amazing. Best Tuna Tarter!!!! Cocktails were great. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is the best Croatian restaurant I know. There are three reasons to think so. First, I was impressed by the friendly staff, who were witty and did not force you to purchase. Second, delicious food. The steak was soft, not hard, and has great smell. Also, the french fries were the best french fries I've ever had. Highly recommended. Third, reasonable price This restaurant has a great ocean view and a beautiful interior, but it doesn't have an unreasonable price system.

Great food for average European prices. We both went with the Picanha Steak and shared the side dishes, one portion of french fries and grilled vegetables. Food tasted great overall, staff was friendly, food came fast and the atmosphere was great. The only point of attention is the portion of the grilled vegetables as it was a bit tiny for its price in my opinion. Also pay attention to the menu when ordering meat dishes as you pay per 100grams.

Really tasty food for adults and kids, soft and relax ambience, good view on the sea and beach. Nice, polite and professional staff.

One of my favorite restaurants. Pretty expensive, but the meat there is amaaaazing, and you can even see it before you get it! The view is also very much worth it. I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for something to enjoy!

Food is ok, drinks too. Prices as well. The band is probably the best thing. But, it is sterile. If the people having the best time is the bend, then something is wrong. Too much showing off and no real fun. Been there and will not come back. Fun lives elsewhere...

Must try! Beautiful place & the food blew our minds, yes especially the mashed potatoes! We cleaned our plates! The stuff steak was *chef’s kiss*! We were very much surprised that it wasn’t packed, and there was no waiting required (although we had reservations). The waiters were very friendly & attentive! They even kicked out some drunk dudes & went table to table to apologize for ok their behalf. Only wished he had come during the day to marvel at the view! Worth the money!

Excellent atmosphere, quiet with great views of the water. The food and service were great! You need to reserve a table if you want to be right by the window, but there seems to be an odd practice in Croatia where they say tables are reserved, but people never show up.

This place is ok but doesn't live up to the hype in my opinion. Lovely setting, good steak, good wine and great service but not spectacular. Personally, I'd be unlikely to go back.

Great place right next to the beach, we had low expectations from some “beach restaurant” but boy we were wrong! Tortuga is great restaurant with professional service, great food and drinks, and with reasonable prices. One of the best meals we had in Split!

Great location, 1 minute walk from the beach and about 10 minutes from the center. We had the shobska salad and carpaccio with a few drinks, definitely recommend it as the service was great, food was good and filled with flavors. We went there for early dinner, would recommend to book in advance as most tables were booked 6:30 pm onwards, especially if you're after the sunset view.

surely the one & best place to get a delecate slice of prime choice rib eye (entrecōte) 'rubia gallega txogitxu' ! they also have a great variety of drinks served by one perfect gin enthusiast of a bar tender. we'll definitely see us again, thank you so much

We arrived a little late and a member of staff told us that the kitchen was only open for 25 minutes. We ordered quickly and the food arrived after 10 minutes. Both dishes were very delicious and can only be recommended. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The cocktail we ordered was also very tasty. The pub is very nicely decorated and provides a pleasant ambience. Restaurant is highly recommended. And once again, the staff are remarkably friendly and an appropriate tip is of course appreciated.

Just popped in for a beer and to take the weight off our feet in the blazing heat of the day. Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We didn't eat on this visit but the food looked good so hopefully another visit on the cards before we depart Split.

Service was good but a little slow. Lovely setting. Waiter recommended steak which was very good. Surprised at high price when presented with the bill. Stwak price is per 100g, I was charged for 950g so was very expensive steak 503kn or 67euros. Would have been fairer to price for item rather than by weight. Other than that everything wad good.

Fantastic food and service!!! The staff really know the menu, their recommendations were spot on! I totally recommend this restaurant.
