Complete and utter waste of a prime location. Top spot on prime split beach, completely inattentive staff, unresponsive, rude, terrible food and watered down drinks. But this is the standard for “beach bars” in split. Just bring some drinks from the supermarket and lie on the beach yourself. staff are totally unhelpful.

AVOID FOOD Sun loungers are 35 kuna per day during a low season. Food is horrible and cold. Service is super slow and my waiter was unhappy when I wanted to pay with card. He kept rolling his eyes whenever I need him. Drinks are watered down, avoid.

Prepare to be absolutely ripped off foreigner or not. Ask for prices before ordering or they will just make them up on the spot and have an excuse for no receipt. $12 Aperol 😂

I went to grab a coffee, arrived at 8:10am in caffe bar, there was no one there till 8:30am even thought there were except me 3 more tables waiting. Till waiters arrived at their job 1 table already left. When I got a first inquire from waiters they said their coffee machine was broken and they were unable to make me coffee. I asked for cold Nescafe which I waited then another 20 minutes for. When I finally got it coffee was neither good nor were glasses for water and coffee clean. They looked like they weren't properly washed forever and had dirty brown stains on side as well at the end of water glasses. Menu was completely wet, not useable, table was dirty and pillows except being dirty had holes in them. I did not even receive invoice for my purchase. I was so disgusted with all that I did not finish my coffee and left. Really bad staff and organization. Total disappointment!

Probably the worst place on Znjan. Dirty, overcrowded, unskilled and unprofessional staff.. We had written confirmation of lounge bed reservation and were rejected once arrived. They overbooked the place and no one from management even came to apologize but just sent a waiter/beach boy shirtless, unprofessional and showing 0 empathy for the problem. There is a marketing agency running their facebook and digital marketing, doing quite ok job but the execution/ operations are below every standard! Do not go there!!!!

Arrogant staff. Got served our food without knife and fork. We asked multiple times to get it, and when we finally did our food got cold. Food was bad. I left more hungry than when I got there. Only order drinks if you go here. Otherwise go somewhere else.

The prices compared to food portion and quality are joke! I ordered a cheeseburger for 99kn and I got a little bit bigger hamburger than in burger king. There were even no cheese. I had to go to other restaurant and order something else to feel no hunger anymore. The waitress was unprofessional. She didn't ask if the food was tasty. And we didn't get any receipe! Do not recommend it The worst burger ever.

Do not go here. We waited about 50min for our order (one hamburger and one chicken sandwich) and left. After multiple times asking the waiter for the food, only after going to the kitchen I found out it was not given to the cooks. Even then they would not speed up the process and give us our order. Very unprofessional. During our waiting time i watched how a badly secured parasol feel onto a child's head...

We've been at many places, this was the worst. We wanted to get a sprite and a beer in a plastic cup to take it away. They asked if we want large or small, we asked for large beer. They poured the beer in a coffe cup, I asked "is this the large beer I just ordered?" they answered they don't have larger cups. I was like okay whatever, lets pay for it and leave. They told it'll be 46 kn. Hence their attitude I didn't plan to give tip. I gave them a 100 kn bill, they gave us back 50 and turned away. We were speechless. They serve like they don't even care about the customers demands. Horrible place. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Decent location, but the food is below average. The staff was nice in general, but there was a lot of miscommunication. You can probably find better for the same price.

Wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff at Monkey Lounge & Beach Bar. We ordered lunch last Tuesday, and totally misjudged the time meaning we had to leave before my pizza was ready as we were being collected nearby. As we couldn't be late, we decided to take the loss and leave it. Five minutes later the waitress ended up running halfway down the beach to catch us and give me the pizza in a takeaway box. So nice of her! Absolutely did not expect that and was glad to still get my lunch in. Thank you :)

I had an amazing burger at the end of a night when it can be quite easy for standards to slip. Fresh produce and an amazing taste, would definitely recommend it. Ivana and Kiki were great super cool chilled out people defo vibes.

The food here is so fresh , friendly waiter prices alot cheaper than split , highly recommend a day here to get away from the city when your looking for a relaxing day on a sun lounger. Made my last day in Split so special

I can see in the reviwes people complaining but I think in the end it's all about your personal budget. The prices are pretty decent for a beach bar and the staff it is very polite. Expect some delays when ordering something because it might be a little overwhelming for the staff, but for us was ok. The music it is mainly house summer music which is also perfect for our taste. I recommend this beach bar. Cheers from Denmark!

Avoid food is awful undercooked burgers and staff totally overstretched. Rocket hard chips. Complained to no avail. Had to go around the corner to get my own ketchup. Understand its hard to keep up after covid but I'd recommend trying the sunset beach club further along the beach. Cocktails only here.
