We stopped for a mid-day drink and look at the menu on a warm wednesday in june. Marco took time to discuss our culinary interests and i mentioned that we wish they had Red Scorpion Fish (RSF) when reviewing the seafood options. He didn't have it in stock nor was it even on the menu but asked us to come back for dinner at 1900 and he would take care of everything. The staff went out and purchased a FRESH (not frozen) caught RSF for 2 people (1.8 kilos). The chef prepared an incredible meal that included 4 different local wines paired by the sommelier, the house grapa, and gazpacho ALL FOR 150 Euro (before tip). Unbelievable! This place is the best.

This restaurant is amazing. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond. Marco went out of his way to get us stone fish because we said we liked it so he special ordered it for us. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything was delicious.

If you want to have dinner outside the busy old town of Split then this is the right place. The restaurant is very cosy with the possibility to sit outside. Do try one of the risotto’s, they are very well prepared. The lamb and the burger were also delicious. Good value for money.

Best ice coffee during our 10 day stay in Croatia. Also half the price compared to the tourist cafes down the port which was great.

Another hidden (not in the city center) gem of Split. Amazing food for reasonable prices! Unfortunately we are leaving tomorrow morning… otherwise is the only restaurant so far I would go again. ☺️
