Small family restaurant with great atmosphere. Waitresses were very welcoming and friendly. This time we decided to try Risotto frutti Di mare and Ravioli with prawns and saffron. We were thrilled how good everything tasted. Portions were big prices are fine. On top of that we tried a house wine and few cocktails everything was delicious and we will definitely come back the second chance we get. Love this place, love people who work there

There's a sign at the door of this place which says "only for lovely people". After dining there two times I have to wholeheartedly agree with it. This is a small family run restaurant which offers a great dining experience. All meal options we tried were really good. And to top it of the service also was great. You didn't feel like a customer, you felt like a friend invited for dinner. There's only lovely people here

Amazing restaurant!!! Very tasty and homemade food. Miriana, the owner of the place, is very nice and funny. We wanted to have Brudet (which is not in their menu) but they told us we could preorder it and they prepared it for us for the next day. It was super tasty! (see the pictures). Totally recommend!!!

We were some of the last guest of the tourist season. Lovely ambiance, charming, authentic and quirky decoration. All the food served in this restaurant comes from local farmers and producers, so some of the items on the vast menu were not available. We had magnificent salads with unexpectedly delicious component being grated red cabbage, massive king prawns, and sea bass on rocket leaves, and fresh potato fries. Friendly service was great!

I highly recomend the place. The food was very good and the stuff very nice. We took spicy prawns with grilled polenta and raviolli prawns, mussels with safron and it was very delicious. We paid 23 euro for each of the dish plus 10 euro for 0,5l of the house wine. If we will ever comback to Split we will visit again. :)

So basically this is like going to eat at your cool, quirky Croatian auntie’s house. She’s really into cats and always has great playlist on. The food is as traditional as it can be and obviously made with super fresh ingredients only. We had the tomato gnocchi and the black tagliatelle with seafood, which were both flavor bombs. Of course, you can’t leave without having something sweet. We were recommended the grilled cheese with lavender honey, which pairs perfectly with the house wine. All around the best food experience we had in Split and we will definitely come back.

Food was great and it's hard to imagine a better taste! But the rating includes the full experience including service, WC, payment etc. Restroom doesn't have paper towels thus you have to use "public" towel what is not the best and safest way during these post COVID times. Beware that they accept cash only (kuna or €)!

I don't know what i enjoyed more, the food or the service. Must try the ravioli with shrimp and saffron sauce. Black risotto, tuna filet, and the slow cooked beef with gnocchi. The service was outstanding with excellent recommendations.

Nice place and great food. We had marinated chicken and risotto with gorgonzola and crispy bacon. The goat cheese for dessert is delicious :)

Very friendly staff serving amazing food. Had the ravioli with prosciutto and it was delicious and properly seasoned. Highly recommend this place. I was also here for dinner ewrlier having the beef gnocchi which also was very tasty. Maybe not the most instagram friendly dish though.

Great experience. We tried two of their specials, grilled sardines as an appetizer and grilled calamari with salad as our main entree. It was delicious (ukusno)! We arrived for an early lunch and it was explained to us that some of the dishes were still stewing. Good food does not come fast. We enjoyed our drinks and good conversation while waiting for our meal in the air conditioned room. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Shared the pasticada and truffle ravioli with goat cheese plus a 1/2 liter of house wine - $52 USD and worth every penny. The staff is fun and helpful.

Definitely our best restaurant experience in Split. The staff was so friendly and made us feel very welcomed, they even remembered us from last night when we tried to come for dinner but the place was fully booked. So glad we came back today for lunch. Besides the excellent service and cozy atmosphere, the food was delicious and the serving sizes decent. Hopefully we can return someday!

Their (sea)food is delicious and has a good food - price ratio. Rather small place with funky decorations and good music. The servers are also very nice :) 10/10 would recommend

We have tried traditional veal and lamb stew with green peas. It was really delicious! 🤤 The service and atmosphere at the restaurant were amazing! The local house white wine was also top! Highly recommend!

We found Konoba Kod Sfinge through its very high Google ratings and were so glad we did! Everything we ordered for dinner was a hit and the service was fantastic. We were looking for pasta and seafood at a reasonable cost and were thoroughly impressed!

I tried the seafood ravioli and the seafood risotto. The ravioli were excellent, the risotto was decent. Prices are relatively high.

We had their daily special crab claws and calamari pasta. It’s one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had. It’s a huge portion and too delicious 🤤

a staff member of our hotel recommended this place for the lamb and peas. the atmosphere was fun and quirky. service was friendly. house wine was good, got a non menu special of tuna pate which was nice. lamb and peas was astronomical. my sea bass was good/fair. the chocolate cake was also fair. all in all a nice place.

Unforgettable experience. One of those places that you can't go wrong. Everything is delicious, the vibe is fantastic and the family running the restaurant will adopt you by the time you finish your meal :) You cannot miss this place, so many average run of the mill restaurants just so you could experience this!!! They are also accommodating for dietary restrictions and general just a good time to be around. We ended up going back time and time again during our stay in Split. Thanks for everyone :D

So glad we stumbled on this family run restaurant. The food is delicious especially the seafood risotto and tagliatelle. One of the best we ever had ! We had the chocolate dessert and it is so yummy too. Prices are very reasonable and service is great. Would highly recommend this place.

Amazing food and friendly service! We were lucky to find a table here for lunch. The food was so fresh and tasty. We especially loved the black risotto with balsamic vinegar. The portion size is so generous and you are guaranteed to be full after eating here 😀

It first caught our eye with the cat and cat people only seating outside. So we had lunch. Great food, we had mussels as main and marinate chicken and chips. Good portions and very tasty. Washed down with beer. Very nice English speaking waitress and the owner was entertaining with her eclectic decoration of the restaurant and Scottish cat apron. The “special” Mona Lisa in the toilets was a nice touch. A great quirky restaurant.

A wonderful place to eat. And a great atmosphere - you feel like visiting a loving aunt. The three-year-old toddler ate almost all of the fish and added some truffle ravioli. They really were amazingly delicious. The risotto recommended by the waitress at the restaurant was also amazing. This place and the communication of its hosts add charisma to the city of Split.

Great location, slightly away from the hustle and bustle in the old town with a uniquely decorated interior. We were welcomed by a total gem of a host who even helped us with both recommendations and a reservation for dinner that night. The food was amazing (we had the tuna steak and the prawn ravioli, which was, in our opinion, better than the Michelin guide featured meal we had that night 🤷🤯). Great food, great cocktails, great atmosphere. If we had longer in Split we would return without a doubt.

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant before roamed around old town. Highly recommend Risotto with Gorgonzola and Black Risotto. Overall, it’s so cozy. The ladies working at that restaurant incredibly friendly and generous. We are happy with this little gem and definitely will come back.

So happy have have found this local gem for lunch in Split! We were drawn in by the look of the fresh seafood and the taste didn't disappoint. We had the giant prawns / goats sheet with peppers / fresh anchovies. All excellent! Service was also great, the chef was lovely and very hospitable!

Very authentic croatian Restaurant in a cute road, a bit separate from the main crowds. Price for value is really good for Split. The owner and staff are super welcoming with great tips which meal to chose. The tuna steak and the sea bass were super fresh and overall a flavour explosion in the mouth. We loved it!

The staff is lovely and helps you with recommendations for your dinner. The food is delicious and those are rather big portions. I recommend you the mixed dalmatian starter plate and either the shrimp ravioli or the traditional lamp. I'll definitly come again.

The place is really amazing: originally decorated and the perfect music. The service was so so open, helpful and personal. Food amazing and quick: we got ravioli with special mushroom, ham and some cheese; pastica (a tradicional stew with gnochis) and some cheese from the zone. All the combination made a perfect lunch.

Don’t miss the traditional pasticada here! Absolutely delicious! They start stewing the meat a day in advance so that it’s truly so tender when they serve it. The gnocchi that comes with the beef was so fluffy and soft - absolutely delicious. The black cuttlefish risotto was also great. A wonderful dining experience with smiling and friendly staff as well! Highly recommend!

On the menu they state that's it's not "flower on the plate place". Indeed they keep that promise in a really good way! Portions are very big, pricing is fine and wine tastes exalt as Croatian wine should. Highly recommended! This may not be the fanciest restaurant in old town, but you won't be disappointed anyway! Be aware they accept cash only!

After walking through the small streets of split, I stumbled across this absolute gem! Lots of character inside the restaurant and the food was really tasty! Great friendly service and even gave me the option of a half sized starter so I could just say I’ve tried it. I highly recommend the black linguine!
