You simply cannot stay in a better location in Split. This hotel is right smack dab in the heart of the center, with the most charming views over the main square. People watching and great architecture right from your window! Outside there is everything you need, some within as little as 50 steps. Restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, gelato, etc. For the hotel, the staff are lovely and kind and are helpful with recommendations. The room is elegant, newly renovated bathroom, and very comfy. We enjoyed our stay so much we wish it was a bit longer. We’ll never be so spoiled again with such a great location! Do yourself a favour and stay here!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is centrally located in the main square of old town Split so it is within walking distance of all the restaurants, tourist attractions (Diocletian Palace, Marjan Hill, Split river walk, etc) and pick up locations for local excursions. The hotel room was large and very clean. There is no night receptionist here but we never felt like we needed one during our stay. The staff were available from 7am-7pm and very kind, friendly, and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is located in a beautifully restored building at one end of the main square in old town Split. We selected it because of it's location within easy walking distance of our cruise dock. We were delighted with our spacious, freshly decorated, comfortable room. We dropped our bags off before 10 am after leaving the boat. Hint- the hotel is not marked on the side facing the square and there is an unrelated business on the ground floor. Go around the right side a few yards and look for the entrance. Take the elevator to the third floor.

My girlfriend and I just completed our trip to your wonderful hotel. I wanted to thank you and everyone involved for making it such a special time for us. Everything was perfect! Your staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful, and patient. Your building and our room were impeccably clean. It was such a good feeling to know we were staying in the best room in the best hotel in Split. Your room service was also above and beyond and we hope they enjoyed their tip. All in all, our best trip ever and much of it was due to your hotel and its services. Thank you from both of us! Jay and Rita

Amazing hotel in a great central location. Fabulous service from Lara who texted us & checked us in as soon as the room was ready. Sweeping views over the rooftops in Split. Lovely welcome bottle of wine & loads of space. Beautifully done bathroom with L’Occitane products & lovely brass fittings. Great water pressure too!

This hotel is perfectly located to explore the area on foot and our reception staff were very helpful. A bakery is right outside the door and a good market is one minute away. Our room was spacious and recently remodeled. We chose a room with a bit of an ocean view, but would choose a view of the large square next time. Overall, we had a great experience and would very happily return.

This was one of my favorite places to stay in Croatia as everything was spotless and the service was unparalleled. Our flight got in past midnight and Kristina at the front desk graciously stayed to ensure we had no problem checking in. She also tried her best to help us find a ride in the middle of the night. There is not a single thing I can complain about. The location, the service, the cleanliness, the AC (more lucrative than you might think), absolutely nothing beats it. One thing to note is that this hotel is closer to a luxury Airbnb in the sense that it is on one level of a historical building that I think houses 2 other hotels. So if you're looking for a grand lobby with a lobby bar, this is not for you! But even if that's what you're looking for, I still think this hotel is worth a shot!

Very nice location, close to ferry departures and has the coldest water ever (for those who like to shower cold like me) which is a rarity here in summer.

We booked this hotel primarily because of the location and it certainly didn't disappoint with all the main attractions of old Split being within a few minutes walk.. The taxi dropped us at the Riva promenade which was a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The old town is pedestrianised which is fantastic and necessary - some of the streets are barely wide enough for a person! The hotel is on the third floor of our building and we'd opted for one of the upgraded rooms that faced the square. Check in at the hotel was polite and helpful and the room was magnificent! It was a lovely size, nicely decorated and furnished, had a lovely bathroom and plenty of plug sockets. The sockets all had additional USB charging ports which helped and the wifi was fantastic - we could even use it from some of the cafes in the square. The room was cleaned every day for us and the teas and coffee topped up - a nice touch as a lot of continental hotels seem to omit providing kettles. It was lovely to look out over the square and the noise was surprisingly muted, even on a Saturday night. We really are very pleased with our choice of hotel and highly recommend it.

Central Square Heritage Hotel is located right in the centre of Split, just a few minutes' walk from the Diocletian's Palace. My room (Superior King Room with City View) was very spacious and clean, with a traditional décor (mainly in white and gold). The bathroom was very brightly lit and easy to use, and so was the room (but lighting was adjustable enough so that it was not so brightly lit as well). Toiletries were L'Occitane, which was a rather nice touch. There was an electric kettle with coffee/tea making facilities as well as the in-room safe. The bed was very comfortable. I had a late night arrival after the reception has closed, but the hotel staff made arrangements for me to self check-in, with very clear and easy to follow instructions and it all worked out very well. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the building, and it was served by a modern lift (basically a step-free access except one step at the doorway into the building, making it easy even if you have a heavy suitcase). While there is no breakfast/dining facilities at the hotel, there are plenty of eating places very close to the hotel - in fact a number of them right on the square in front of the hotel. Given its location, I was concerned about the potential noise but there was no need to be concerned, as the windows were quite well noise-insulated and I did not have any issues with the noise at all. If there is one negative about the hotel, it was their 10 am check-out time, but they allowed me to keep the room until 11 am, which I really appreciated.

Perfect location, near many fine restaurants and easy walking to the ports nearby. The staff were excellent, so helpful with many great suggestions for touring and restaurants. They were able to arrange a private transfer from the airport which made the start of our trip so pleasurable. We would definitely stay again when we return to Split.

This beautiful boutique hotel is located in the city centre of Split. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel staff deserves a mention here, since their hospitality and kindness went beyond the service you would get anywhere else. Kristina and Iva did a terrific job, gave me all sort of (insider) tips and were helpful during my whole stay. As a solo traveller, this was my best hotel experience ever! Do not hesitate to book a room here.

My trip to Croatia didn’t start well, however, the staff girls made my stay at the hotel so wonderful and amazing that I fell in love with Split. The professionalism, the friendliness, the knowledge that front desk girls possess is priceless. Location is excellent, you will be in the middle of all the highlights of Split and it’s beauty. Clean rooms, unbelievable service and hospitality. Fall in love with Split at Central Square Heritage Hotel!

I can't praise this hotel and wonderful staff enough! We arrived hot and hasselled as our luggage had been left in Frankfurt. The staff on reception was kind, attentive and helpful and the cool comfortable room with a big bed was great. The next morning the lady on reception kept calling the airport and the delivery driver to get our luggage in time for us to board our boat at noon. It arrived and she very kindly helped us with the luggage down to the harbour. Absolutely above and beyond. Everyone was so kind and charming and the room was great too. We plan to come back. Hopefully with another airline!!

We stayed here in April 2022 and couldn't have asked for much more. Room was grand, clean and spacious. Great view over the central square in Split and 5 mins from anything you could want to see or eat in the old town. Friendly reception staff with good English and loads of helpful suggestions. There is an airport shuttle they can book for you if that's your bag, but we found the standard shuttle bus to be fine and much cheaper (£10 vs £35 each way) Only way to improve this place would be if there was a breakfast option, even if not included in the price.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The place is a new renovated place. Elegant rooms overlooking the old town. Amenities, ambiance, reception are outstanding. The staff are very helpful and nice. I had a car with me. I realized that the old city is a no car zone. I emailed the hotel. They gave me all the instructions.First, they reserved a parking spot for me in a garage which was 7min walk. On arrival, they met us at a close point to the hotel at the no car zone. The lady took us to the hotel. A 3 to 5min walk.the guy took me to park the car in the reserved parking. A true customer service experience. Breakfast was across the alley. A 5* restaurant with a Spanish ambiance. We love the place, food, location and staff.7

This hotel is an absolute gem! It is right in the heart of Old Town overlooking Central Square. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with the marble bathroom being a standout (particularly the AMAZING shower!). The rooms and hotel are kept immaculately clean and the housekeepers are very efficient. But apart from being a beautiful hotel, the real icing on the cake is the friendly ladies at reception. They were so helpful in assisting us with tours, restaurant suggestions and anything else we needed help with. We can't thank them enough for making our stay magical!

Super clean room, nice shower, good bed. Great location! We love l’occitane products so it was a little present to receive their shampoo and showergel in the bathroom. There is only one remark that has to be made, the hotel is just a level in the bigger building. I expected to walk in a nice lobby with a bar/restaurant but that was not the case, somehow it turned down the experience a bit. I think if I knew before it was a very small size hotel on one level and that the feeling is more like a luxurious airbnb, it would have managed the expectations a bit better. Still 4 stars worth for me though.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Central Square Heritage Hotel and would highly recommend. Fantastic location right in the heart of Split by gold Town - close to everything including restaurants, bars, and the sea. Very spacious, clean, comfortable, and nice rooms too! Christina was so welcoming and helpful. She definitely made our stay at the Central Square Heritage Hotel above and beyond!

😠 DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
