I highly DO NOT recommend. Supposedly 4 stars hotel but barely is 2 stars. Unique advantage is hotel is very front of sea. For the rest, it is a SHAME! Place is dusty and not correctly maintenanced, people working there are not professional, breakfast is poor, coffee is tasting bad, you have to pay for renting beach towel 100kn a day, you have to pay for sun-umbrella too, you have to install yourself the sunbeds every day, not to add that room was dirty when we arrive. Restaurant is a joke. Expensive and bad tasting. I highly DO NOT recommend.

This hotel is not safe! Be careful! We spent two nights at this hotel. firstly, the quality of the hotel is far from a 4 star hotel but this was not the major problem. when we left, I forgot three of my clothes (designer clothes) at our room, I called them at the same day and it took them a week to confirm that they have found the clothes at the exact place I had left them, although just a day after that, I got an email from them saying that another guest got my clothes by mistake and they do not have them anymore, nothing was mentioned about their plan to redeem the clothes! I called immediately and said this is not acceptable and I expect them to contact the guest and get them back. since that time up to now which has been 47 days, I have called, sent emails, several times, but they refuse to answer me! I found the mobile number of a salesperson and called him, He assured me that they are working on the issue and a week after that I received the 150 euros compensation for the items that had the value of more than 600 Euros! I consider this theft. This is not about money, this is about, safety, trust, disrespect and the humiliation! This hotel and the staff have zero respect for the experience of their guests and I felt my responsibility to make anyone who decides to stay there aware of what they might experience. Stay safe!

Just got back from a week in Croatia staying at Hotel San Antonio. We thought we were going to be on beach front not roadside, we weren't told this, no tea or coffee making facilities in room. Very noisy especially when stag party was staying above us. Shouting, banging doors, swearing all this after midnight. Very disappointed but Split lovely.

Rooms were really nice and the sea view was really nice. The bathroom had a really gross sewage smell to it though. The customer service at this hotel is one of the worst I've ever seen anywhere. The lack of care or respect from the staff is incredibly high. They seem bothered to help guests out. The bartender was rude and when asked for some ice for a water bottle, he refused and said he would charge us $4 euro for like 8 ice cubes. There are no ice machines in the hotel at all and for the cost of staying here, charging that much for ice is shameful. The food is decent but overpriced. After the disrespect from the bartender and the front desk staff, we decided to spend our meal money elsewhere at neighboring hotels which were a lot better. One day we left the room to go to the beach and the housekeeping staff had gone in the room to clean etc and they left our room door ajar. We came back from being on the beach for hours to find it open. We didn't bother telling anyone, cause we already knew they wouldn't care at all. Parking here was awful. There are not very many spots and then there are some areas that look like parking spots but they are not and people often get their vehicles boxed in and trapped. Staff barely cared at all. Couldn't be bothered to get off of YouTube to do anything. Breakfast is included but it is subpar at best. Not much of a selection and the same few items every day. Honestly this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere and it's almost entirely due to the awful staff members. Save your money and go next door or another hotel.

Very bad for the price.... IF YOU ARE COMMING HERE CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE. Tv does not work, ants in the room, mini bar does not work, batroom door does not work, air dryer does not work, we stay in a side house not at the hotel, complains are for tomorow, today no one is there... restaurant has a girl in charge not so pleasent.... and so on..... Very bad for a 4 stars

We got the worst rooms of the hotel. The smell was bad and it has a very old carpet on the floor. Also, the balcony door was broken and the air conditioner took an eternity to chill the room. We asked to change rooms but they said it was not possible. The breakfast was also not good at all.

Unfortunately, we had two negative experiences. The first time, we went to the beach, the food was very expensive by Croatian standards and relatively unconvincing. Also the staff did not treat us in a friendly way at all. In addition, although we were guests of an associated appartement (villa view 4 you), we had to pay extra for sunbeds and towels despite some problems. The second time, we ordered pizza and faced more or less a similar situation: we had to wait a long time, it was very expensive but average and there were problems with the payment method. All in all, I cannot recommend the hotel nor the restaurant.

Gorgeous hotel with lovely rooms. Tina at reception is so lovely, I left my keys at the hotel and she was so helpful and kind. Thank you and we will return!

This hotel doesn’t live up to its standard. Dirty rooms and bad breakfast. Some yoghurts out of date and eggshells in the scrambled eggs.. not worth 4 stars in my opinion

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We were very apprehensive before arriving here because the reviews were really very negative. We requested a room upgrade prior to our arrival, to have a sea facing room in the main building. Fortunately we had made this request because the building where we were initially to stay was very dilapidated from the outside. The view from the room was outstanding. The room is spacious and comfortable. The problem is the cleaning of the room, in fact, the vacuum cleaner is not passed and the dust is not removed. Once our room was left open for 2 hours which is unacceptable. The breakfast is simple but not very varied. We ate once at the hotel restaurant one evening and it was not good. Finally, the beach is very beautiful and pleasant.

the hotel is basically good, but the staff is bad. When we asked to repair it, we were told that it took 20-30 minutes, a day has passed, and it still hasn't been repaired. Then they came to us and wanted to clean it. we asked to come in after 45 minutes. They came after 4 hours, the room was not cleaned. Yes, the hotel itself is cool, but the staff.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! At arrival, a fairly nice lady checked us in however she was unfortunately extremely unhelpful…Despite our room being in a separate building, she did not care to escort us or give any form of helpful direction. Further, the other female staff at reception we encountered were AWFULLY RUDE when we were nothing but polite to them all. Oh and don’t get me started on the food… some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten has been at this hotel, giving my friend awful diahorrea which blocked up the toilet and the staff refused to help but instead shamed her for the awful smell it emitted. As 3 young girls travelling, we had members of staff entering our room without our permission which made us feel extremely unsafe. I will definitely not be recommending this to a friend and would rather walk over Lego than return.

Respa ok. Rantaravintola todella kallis ja ruoka ei erikoista, syötävää kyllä mutta toista kertaa en mene, lähellä hinta laatu suhteelta paljon parempia mestoja. Rantaravintolassa todella hidasta toimintaa.

Nice Hotel, great service, 10 minutes ride far from city center. It's not too cheap but not to expensive either. Would book myself room here if I ever come to Split again.

Awful, dirty, food is bad. Most expensive dinner ever peace of chicken and fries for 20 eur is outrageous.

The location is excellent for those who want beach experience. The staff is helpful. For those who also want to go to Split traffic jam is to be taken into consideration during the season.

The most incredible hotel and experience. We will indefinitely be staying at San Antonio again. The location is idilic, you have a beach view directly from the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need, the restaurant attached to the restaurant has a varied selection of both food and drink. I cannot recommend San Antonio enough. Spent a long weekend just before the season kicked in. I must say that the hotel had really good location, directly by a beautiful beach, with a small concrete pier. Water was clear and small pebbles covered the beach. We got room on the first floor, with the sea view. While it was great, it situated just above the restaurant, so the balcony would smell like pizza or calamari sometimes, and it could get loud during dinner hours. The Deluxe Room was clean, large and modern, there’s a tiny little fridge where you could squeeze your own drinks. Didn’t watch tv, but accidentally turned it on once and saw that you can chromecast to it. Maybe good for people who wants to watch their own stuffs. The bathroom was spacious, water in the shower flowed very strong but it drained very slow, so it could flood a bit. There was a small gym, a Finnish sauna, a swimming pool with unheated water on the top floor. Breakfast was so-so, typical of 3-4 stars hotel in this part of Croatia, but you can eat it on the beach! This was kinda a big deal for us! Even though I couldn’t stand the coffee.. Beside of 3-course dinner from our half board, we ordered mussel alla Buzara with bread, and they were one of the best I ever ate! The bread was so good, it was actually pizza cuts without the sauce. They also had a very tasty fish soup. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. Overall a good hotel on a great location. It just getting old and start decaying here and there. Maybe we’ll come back someday, if it would still be in one piece. Careful when you book though, some rooms are on annex, which is located on the main road and separated from the main building, this not on the beach.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff all over the place. We had some problems with our booking and the reception was extremly helpful and friendly. Special thanks goes to Mateo in this regard. The rooms are quite large and clean. The restaurant meals were delicious with reasonable price. The only reason I gave 4 stars, not 5, is the breakfast quality. It needs improvement on variaty of choices and also bread quality.

We stayed one night in hotel San Antonio. When we arrived, there was a really friendly guy who informed us about everything. After the information we went to the penthouse and we first were blown away by the view. The room was big and everything was signed as “cleaned up” but the room was really dusty and the bed linens had some spots. I went to the toilet once and it was already clogged. In the book with information it says that you could order food 24h/7(if you pay 50 kn extra) but when we arrived after an evening activity we asked if we could order some food and it was not possible anymore. The guy searched for an open restaurant near by but we couldn’t find the restaurant he recommended us. The hotel is 5 m next to the beach so you can’t have a better location to rest a bit. They also had some beds we could use at the beach. We enjoyed our stay here for a night!

First time in Croatia and was one of my best holidays, the hotel was nicer than expected, modern rooms, toilet and with a balcony included some beach chairs. Perfect location in front of the beach. We had only breakfast included but it was very various of choices (I loved having breakfast there). The hotel had a restaurant and a bar which were comfortable even for the price. The staff was excellent and really helpful; everyone knew English which was surprising. I strongly recommend this hotel as one of the nicest I’ve ever been and price and quality they perfectly match!!

One of the waiters here was plain ignorant. But besides that the Aperol spritz was small and watered down and the most expensive of all the restaurants I've ever been to. Go 10 mins further up to Amigos and compare the difference.. Food was fine hence the 3 stars. Service was poor though.

  • 1/5 Mirt M. 2 years ago on Google
Went there for a coffee/ drink in winter time. Tables had a half millimeter layer of dirt, and they still feel it's okay to charge 30HRK for a "fresh" apple juice (which was obviously the cheapest store bought juice).

Very beautiful hotel, spacious and comfortable room with big bathroom. Very well placed, on the beach. The breakfast is really great. The personal is also very kind. We have a great stay there. I recommend!
